After reading positive reviews of LA Cafe, glad to share I was not disappointed. Had the signature breakfast which is an English breakfast but with its own identity and taste. The environment is very welcoming and clean. Service is warm and friendly, from everyone in the cafe especially the owner Ankur. Thanks and look forward to returning soon.

Amazing food and faultless service in a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. 😊 Quality of the food was amazing and the presentation, spotless. The Owner and chef of LA Cafe could not have done anyone to make us feel welcome and look after our needs. The ambience was relaxed, cozzy and chick at the same time. Will definitely come again and would 100% recommend. 💯

A nice brunch I got here. Service was perfect, quick and with a smile. Tried a chorizo croissant and that was delicious. Masala chai tea was hot and tasted brilliant.

Best beef pastrami I've ever had

This Belgian waffle for brunch was amazing and so was the tropical fruit drink. I also noticed that this restaurant has a 2023 good food blue ribbon. Finally, for a place like this I wouldn’t have expected it to have toilets and very clean.

Brilliant lunch at LA Cafe along with a good chat with the owner. Excellent quality and attention to detail. Full of flavour and top cooking technique from the chef. The omelette lived up to the hype! Will definitely return.

Without doubt the best cafe in the area, if not the whole of London, if not the UK. It ticks every box. Interesting menu, exceptional quality, daily specials, friendly staff AND they even made an entirely bespoke meal for my 3 year old son. It’s the sort of place you could happily eat in every day.

Great café just outside Sutton railway station! Been there for the first time and left very pleased with the quality of food and the perfect balance between the ingredients. Signature breakfast and smoked salmon scrambled eggs highly recommended! Lovely staff! will come back definitely

Food and drink here is delicious and you can tell it’s well thought out and made with care. Extremely accommodating with our two kids and cooked a delicious chicken breast just for them. Very friendly and warm atmosphere. Will definitely make this a regular place to come in future.

The breakfast (not an “English breakfast” apparently!) was an overwhelming clash of flavours. White truffle sauce on scrambled eggs (overpowering and unnecessary), pesto on cherry tomatoes (raw not cooked), what seemed like garlic butter on the otherwise lovely home made bread and an odd cooking method for the steely bacon (microwaved?!) that meant the rashers were clumped together and very soft. Tea was excellent in nice large Le Creuset mugs that kept the tea warm too. Or perhaps it was the heat in the place that was set to max! Most uncomfortable for someone dressed for winter. The sausages were good, the place was clean and the chilli sauce welcome… but really all the elements of ‘enhancement’ on what resembles an English breakfast should be optional. The service was pleasant too, greeted with a smile and an engaging Gentleman, but I stand by my review for the reasons stated above.

Amazing food especially tomato soup. Creamy texture, with pesto on top of it add the flavor, the bread is soft and crispy. Comfortable seat, clean and tidy. Lovely service. Highly recommended

I recently visited La Cafe and was really impressed! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a relaxed vibe that makes it perfect for catching up with friends. The decor is modern but warm, which adds a nice touch. The menu had a great variety. I tried the [coffee & peri peri fries ] and it was fantastic—[ I felt that sitting in India with my friends with rich flavour of fries].The staff was friendly and attentive, and my order was served quickly. Overall, La Cafe is a wonderful. I highly recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a comfortable cafe with great coffee and food. I'll definitely be back!

Ankur's passion for food shines through in every dish. Our signature breakfast offered a taste sensation that blurred the lines between a bistro and a café. Both my wife and I have very high expectations of food. The purity of the ingredients, which are thoughtful with no skimping on quality, elevated the flavours to the level of high-end cuisine. When I wanted a dessert, Ankur's surprise recommendation of a 'cruffin' was terrific. It lived up to the lofty expectations set by my experience of the Italian Deli in the Cotswolds, boasting a crisp croissant exterior and a light, airy crumb structure. Hot caramel contrasted with cool custard, which was accented by fudge-like pieces. It was decadent without being overpowering and bloating. There is a sense of community my wife has longed to find in a place with regulars who return time and again. Thank you Ankur and your team for a wonderful Monday morning hearing about your total commitment to a quality culinary experience with genuine warmth at LA Café. We will be returning to try the rest of the menu!

La Cafe in Sutton, London, is a hidden gem that truly impresses. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The menu offers a delightful mix of fresh, locally sourced ingredients, with standout dishes that showcase creativity and flavor.

It’s very rare for me to return to somewhere I’ve already eaten at more than twice a year, but this cafe is honestly the greatest one I’ve been to. You’ll definitely get your money’s worth and Ankur is an incredible chef and friendly individual. I’ll be back - loved every dish and each remix

I’ve had the vegetarian salad and another time aubergine with tahini. I’ve tried to imitate the sauces at home but I cannot! Sadly! Tastes so good!

We had a delicious breakfast today. The soup of the day was outstanding as well as the truffle scrambled eggs. My sons wolfed down a sausage bap and tuna baguette. The owner was very passionate about his food and it was refreshing to see so much care over the dishes and attention paid to his customers' satisfaction. I was very pleased that he made me another Masala chai - to suit my personal taste (I like it strong!) - free of charge.

Food was absolutely delicious!! So tasty, creamy and well done. I had the smoked salmon scrambled eggs and shared with my friend who had the avocado on toast with scrambled eggs. Needless to say, we will be back again. The Chef was on top with the service making sure we were being taken care of.

Tasty and hearty breakfast, vibrant decorations and friendly chef! One of the best scrambled eggs I ate if you like with different layers if flavors and moist.
