Sticky Fingers Street Food in Cardiff

Good place for casual food if people want a few different food types to choose from. I personally found the meal I chose way too salty. The street food vendor meals are simple but i guess they have small kitchens and limited utensils. Small outside garden is ok. You order on a phone app so need a phone 📞

Sticky Fingers is one of the best bars in Cardiff. The food is varied and always high quality. The staff are friendly and really sound. The drink selection is everything you want, and it’s also dog and vegan friendly. Cool tunes, too. 10/10.

Me and my friends LOVE Sticky Fingers for the sheer variety of excellent street food that is always on offer. If you have fussy friends or you all want completely different food over some cocktails and beers then this is the place to be! The ordering system is very straight forward and easy to use, and also encourages multi-course and casual dining which we like. I'm not however a fan of 'take over tuesdays' where there is only 1 vendor available each tuesday. During our visit we felt that it was far too restrictive given the usual nature of this place. Sticky Fingers rotates street food vendors every month or so, so there's always new vendors to try and they regularly update their cocktail menu's which is also a nice touch.

It’s a pub like atmosphere so quite loud but really good cocktails. Nice street food places - food I chose was good. You can order food and drinks on the app and gage table service or go up to the bar. We had a nice night

What food! Combining a pub type environment with street food is just A1. You can order drinks at the bar but those and food easily done via their app. Simple and efficient. The food is amazing. Spent a long weekend in Cardiff and came here twice. The chicken burger and dirty fries are top drawer. Staff are friendly - jut a great find all round and away from the hub up of the city centre

First visit to Brother Thai …. My husband’s birthday 🎂. Amazing from start to finish ! Seated in the garden 🪴 as hadn’t booked , but lovely courtyard, an excellent chilled addition to the restaurant. Very busy on a Thursday night, always a good sign . Food was absolutely delicious 🤤, flavours so intense , all dishes fantastically presented and packed full of flavour , every mouthful was to die for . staff were fantastic . A wonderful find , and will definitely be returning .

Visiting Cardiff for a couple of days. Thoroughly enjoyed Sticky Fingers. Best Loaded Fries we’ve ever had. Burgers were delicious too. Cocktails 2 for £10. It’s outside the city centre but worth the 20 minute walk from Cardiff Castle

Came here with work friends for the pub quiz and some grub! Some members of the group are big foodies and everyone was amazed by the food. The veggie of the group actually said the food we had here was the best veggie food he’s had! A wide variety of drinks which was a big positive from us, different ales, cocktails, spirits was greatly received from some of the members of the group that like drinks you don’t usually see in average bars. Funky and modern venue! Tried several different cocktails from the bar which were lovely!!! Wait times could have been improved though. We also tried two or three dishes from each vendor. Food was good and although individual dishes were under a tenner the coat soon added up! Good experience though and would definately return!

We have visited sticky fingers a couple of times and spent many hours eating lovely food and drinking cocktails. But when we heard bao selecta was leaving soon we had to make one last trip as we knew these were simply incredible. We ordered the chicken and beef bao buns and both were delicious as always. Whilst we were in the restaurant the Sunday night quiz was happening which seemed enjoyable and fun so would love to come back and take part next time. As amazing as the bao buns are, I look forward to coming back here and trying some of the new things on the menu soon! There is always a good atmosphere here and the food and drinks are just what you need for a good night with friends.

The bar was well stocked and had lots of fun drink options, and the cocktails were presented very well. Tried a few of the different food places and all were tasty (shout out to the bao buns).

What a really pleasant meal we had here. The rotis are delicious and buttery and crispy, absolutely gorgeous. The curry and rice looked excellent, but it was on the next table to us. We will try that next time. The crispy mushroom larb was so tasty, so fresh and so zingy, an absolute hit. We were not overly keen on the Thai crispy chicken, but I know I am very fussy about chicken quality, so this will be more of a reflection on myself rather than the restaurant. will definitely visit again. Staff were really friendly, and restaurant was lovely and clean

Worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Unless you have a smart phone and are willing to spend an age ploughing through multiple separate menus and having to pay for items individually at each vendor, this is not for you. Also, the worst manager I have ever met; patronising and rude. Avoid at all costs.

I visited this establishment for the first time today, I was met by friendly and helpful staff who put me at ease immediately, I decided to have a meal and I was not disappointed, I chose Fowl and fury the in house food establishment, the food was excellent and the service was very good, I highly recommend this place and will visit again

Bland , expensive, commercialised , not street food

Popped in here for a drink while staying the night in Cardiff. Saw a sign outside for gin, thinking there would be a good selection. A small selection of the usual gins, so we opted for a cocktail. The cocktails were served by one of the most miserable, unhelpful and uncharismatic individuals I have had the displeasure to meet in a while. The cocktail was as unimpressive as the service, and not worth the money. If this was my bar, I’d choose my staff a little more carefully! The only positive was being able to sit outside in the sun.

A huge range of food to fit anyone taste or dietary requirements. My boyfriend found the best thing to be that they have orchard pig cider on tap. We went on a Thursday but I'm sure that it can get very busy on the weekend.

Are at Hoof Burgers yesterday. We had a veggie hoof, a sweaty hoof and the one with liver paté (I forget the name). Beautiful burgers. The best in Cardiff at the moment in my opinion. The setting is also great. Very chilled.

Eaten here a few times recently and loved it. Love the set up and the fact you can choose different dishes from different places. Proper tasty and reasonable prices definitely one of my favourite places to eat.

I visited sticky fingers on Cardiff to grab a quick bite to eat whilst on a night out in Cardiff. Ok, for full disclosure, it was 10pm and we'd had about 3 drinks. One of my friends was a little worse for wear (light weight) so we thought we'd grab some food. We ordered from a very nice cashier a and chatted to the chef. He was an extremely rude man and when I asked him if he'd cooked the chilli I could smell, just nodded and Walked away.

We came here as a spur of the moment decision when we saw the pretty flower blossom decorations outside. Inside was equally well decorated with a real street vibe to it and cute little picnic benches and it was just really nice and quirky. The concept of ordering was quite fun, so instead of one set menu, you go up to each little station and you can order whatever youd like and they call your name when its done. We came away very full and happy :) A little hidden gem of Cardiff, I hope it does well, so shall be recommending to all!

We were looking for somewhere to have a quick meal and found the place had great choice for everyone. I ate at Hoof and the food was amazing, so much better than a burger. Others had Malaysian and theirs was of equal quality. Definitely would come here again for the hoof!!

Amazing food, great atmosphere. Outdoor and indoor seating, bar and drinks also on site with a happy hour offer, sadly too early for that but worth keeping in mind.

Came here with the family after hearing good things. Not dissapointed absolutely lovely tasty food, we had a selection of food to share. we had the Dirty hoof burger which was fab. The kids had a goodfillas crispy filled pizza which kept them quiet. We had something similar in Italy very good. And also we had the crispy tandoori chicken roti with coriander chilli and pickled red cabbage. I would have this again it was lovely and fresh. Can't wait to come back, and the Camden town beer was good too. Keep up the good work thanks.

Really modern and cool surrounding for drinks and tasty food! We have tried a couple of the food vendors and they have been top notch tastiness! We definitely will return!

Popped in for a drink and a snack with my daughter. Was off peak so very quiet. Lovely staff - welcomed by the manager as we walked in. Loads of seating and bar area looked good. Wasn’t drinking but there was a great cocktail menu that I’d like to try next time. Will be going back for a proper feed and a few drinks soon.

Probably the best burger I have ever had. The dirty hoof burger is not to be missed when you visit Cardiff. Situated in Sticky fingers street food venue in the brewery quarter.

So glad to have a permanent street food location in Cardiff. The food was all delicious and affordable. Can't wait to go back. I only hope it can continue to grow!

...is how the country used to advertise itself and as soon as you get here you should head left and order the chicken roti with chilli and coriander. You’ll be blown away. My mate was so jealous he wolfed down his own delicious rendang curry to buy one himself. My other mate’s folded pizza was also very tasty and the bar has plenty of options to wash down the food. I also liked that this did not feel like a pretentious, London-esque eatery like so many ‘street food’ spots but seemed to be enjoyed by a real mix of people.
