A new restaurant in the area since we were here last. It was a last minute booking but they managed to squeeze us in if we arrived early. The only problem for us was that the menu was full of great ‘different’ choices, and it was difficult to decide! I had the mushroom, leek, and white truffle soup, followed by the pork belly with some excellent accompaniments (I especially like the bean cassoulet), while my wife had a broccoli starter (I can’t remember all that was in it but she said it was so full of flavours) followed by the smoked haddock which she claims is the best smoked haddock she has ever tasted , and we know our fish! No licence so we took our own wine and they offered to keep the white wine in the fridge and be served as and when, or in a cooler at the table. Iced water was automatic. Presentation superb, service was impeccable, and the chef took time out to chat. If you haven’t been here, you’re missing out - it’s superb - we will be back!

Was given a voucher for here so a set meal 2 cocktails and 4 courses, took one look at the place and thought this could be interesting due to using a itison voucher how wrong could i have been straight away greeted with the biggest cheesy grin and warm welcome from front of house, the wee chefs taster was smoked salmon horseradish cracker was mind blowing for the main event, after selecting a nice Red for the meal the simple menu was handed to us. My wife went for duck and ham hock pate and had coconut and ginger soup ( I find you normally get a smaller portion with a voucher) but when the bath sized bowl was placed before me my eyes lit up before my taste buds exploded with delight rich creamy just wants needed on a Scottish winter evening’s the good lady demolished her serving saying it was superb, then the mains the good lady took the house favourite Chicken I opted for the Pork Belly, the mains arrived the Chicken moist succulent and flavoured fantastically well, My first bite of this small round piece of meet before me I was left utterly confused and looked up to the chef’s station to try and find who had the halo around their head this plate was truly created and served by a miracle worker from the small buttery potato and the purée to the vegetable and cabbage bed this nestled upon honestly is the best meal I think I have ever tasted it was that wonderful the cuts got smaller and smaller while I tried dragging it out in fear of finishing it all. I skipped the dessert lol over all this place was incredible the staff absolutely tremendous friendly and welcoming and would recommend this place 100%

Having never been here before and after reading great reviews about Cote, I decided to book this for my friend and I. On arrival, we were seated immediately at a table under the air conditioning. At first, we welcomed this as it was warm outside, but by the time we left, we were both very cold. For us, the staff were very attentive and friendly and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. On the downside, we didn’t think the portion sizes were adequate for main courses and our dauphinoise potatoes didn’t stay warm for long. Dessert was a very disappointing size wise if I’m honest but it was delicious. We had a bottle of wine and a cocktail each. Don’t make the mistake we made and add service charge on as it has already been added on.

My fiance and I were in Darcy's pub every single night during our stay in Galway. The ambiance was so authentic, the music was great, and the staff was above and beyond friendly.

Overpriced, inedible cakes and rude staff. This might be the West End, but why put up with this just because the location is good? There are far better options everywhere in town.

Well what can I say we arrived we did not feel welcomed told we had to pay £5 parking a night hotel decor a bit tied but the room clean . we were going to leave tomorrow and lose the money for the second nights stay but after dinner in the restaurant and talking to Sydney and Scott they changed our option of the hotel we felt welcomed. We are not leaving tomorrow and we are going to have dinner in the hotel tomorrow night again. And this is all down to Sydney and Scott. If Sydney had been the person on reception we might have felt more welcomed
