Cote Brasserie - Glasgow

Anderston / City, Glasgow City
12/12/2018: Went here on a Friday lunchtime and the place was packed! Every table except one was taken, so we took the last table (despite it being near the door). The menu here is varied and reasonably priced, the staff helpful and attentive and the décor really, really lovely. Only minor flaw was that the toilets were a trek away from the restaurant seating area, but they were clean when you eventually get there!
11/12/2018: Great food in glasgow city centre. The staff were very attentive & friendly, great atmosphere. A real buzz about the place with excellent food what more could you ask for. Thank you for another great meal and well done to you all.

Browns Bar & Brasserie

4 offers
Anderston / City, Glasgow City
02/12/2018: We had a table booked for 5.45pm for a group of 8. On arrival front of house was clearly stressed with queues waiting to be seated and little information. The whole evening had been fully booked so there shouldn't have been drop in bookings to show this down. We were told things were running a little late but to go to the bar for a drink. A full 45 mins after our booking and having to return to the front desk for information, we were told the table had come free and was being set so should only be a few mins. Another 20 mins we were told the table were slow to leave and they were going to clear the table soon - I understand days getting busy and some overwhelming but avoiding the truth of the situation makes things many times worse. We finally ate just over two hours after our booked time. A large group next to us were celebrating a special birthday and were almost 2.5 hrs late being served.
02/12/2018: Really enjoyed my meal last night the fillet steak was excellent. The hustle and bustle brought a great atmosphere, will dine again !!

DARCY'S bar/cafe/brasserie

Anderston / City, Glasgow City, 20-30£
18/12/2018: Decided to try Darcy’s for lunch we both went for sandwiches with salad and skinny fries disappointing. Side salad was green leaves no dressing no tomato cucumber spring onions nothing don’t count a few green leaves as a side salad not good value for money.
18/12/2018: Visited on Monday 17th December to Darcys and had a great family lunch. The restaurant was so busy (which i guess is a good sign for a Monday) and the staff couldnt be more attentive. Food was lush, company was great and the restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere.

My friend who is a non meat eater was so impressed with the choice of dishes suitable for her . After such a big choice she eventually had the monkfish curry while I had the chicken tandoori served with rice and nan .Both meals were fantastic ,just one fault it was too much ,however we both took the leftovers in a doggy bag (waiter was happy to do this) As it was to good to leave

Le Bistro Beaumartin

Anderston / City, Glasgow City, 30-45£
