Desde el momento en que entramos en este restaurante compacto pero muy bijou supimos que iba a ser especial , pero que especial , bueno nos quedamos boquiabiertos . El personal y el chef son tan , talentoso amable y servicial . Traje a nuestros 2 perros y no podrían haber sido más útiles. Tuvimos 3 cursos totalmente sublimes. Es uno de los mejores alimentos que hemos comido en mucho tiempo. Mi papá tenía el skink Cullen, el MEJOR que ha tenido, ¡y ha tenido algunos! Tuve las vieiras del rey, una palabra SUBLIME y los acompañamientos , fueron innovadores y se presentaron maravillosamente. Los dos comimos carne asada, solomillo y mejillas y rostizados y pudín Yorkshire, champiñones cremados, zanahoria, guau, y y y, simplemente, ¡necesitas probar para creer! Los postres, un merengue con menta, bayas de verano, helados y... Un helado posset de limón un pastel precioso y... ¿entiendes? Entonces, justo cuando pensabas que tus papilas gustativas ya no podían tentarse, la tableta refrigerada casera con la factura... ... ¡Todo por menos de 80 libras! Es byob traeremos una botella de vino la próxima vez, pero eso también incluyó 2 refrescos cada uno y ... . Mucha agua para los caniches, también estropeada, ¿qué más puedo decir? Oh, espera un minuto ... ... ... ... ... lo sé ... ... ... . NECESITAS PROBAR ESTE RESTAURANTE. reserva con antelación ya que estaba lleno y podemos ver por qué. Gracias al chef Chris y a todo su talentoso personal.

Wee Lochan Kitchen es un restaurante pequeño (¡comprueba el nombre! ) pero perfectamente formado. Nuestro almuerzo fue memorable con el entrante de souffle un punto culminante particular. Solo está abierto de jueves a domingo, así que reserva con anticipación para asegurarte de conseguir una mesa.

A new restaurant in the area since we were here last. It was a last minute booking but they managed to squeeze us in if we arrived early. The only problem for us was that the menu was full of great ‘different’ choices, and it was difficult to decide! I had the mushroom, leek, and white truffle soup, followed by the pork belly with some excellent accompaniments (I especially like the bean cassoulet), while my wife had a broccoli starter (I can’t remember all that was in it but she said it was so full of flavours) followed by the smoked haddock which she claims is the best smoked haddock she has ever tasted , and we know our fish! No licence so we took our own wine and they offered to keep the white wine in the fridge and be served as and when, or in a cooler at the table. Iced water was automatic. Presentation superb, service was impeccable, and the chef took time out to chat. If you haven’t been here, you’re missing out - it’s superb - we will be back!

I’ve been a few times for brunch & lunch but first for Sunday Lunch . Warm welcoming atmosphere on a dreich day . Great choices six starters including a special of pulled pork and chilli spring rolls . We had the spring rolls , chicken liver parfait and the Broccoli & Brie soup . All were delicious , big portions and served beautifully ( loved the toasted sourdough with whipped butter and crispy onions ) mains were the topside of beef with shin of beef , roasties, savoy cabbage, tender stem broccoli and carrots , others had steak and the smoked haddock main . Everyone raved about their dishes , all perfectly cooked . I couldn’t managed dessert but tasted the Apple & custard tart and Victoria sponge which was presented with loads of fresh berries - gorgeous , really regretted I didn’t have room . It’s BYOB & at £28 fir two courses and £21 for three , it’s exceptional cooking at exceptional prices

Nos dieron un vale que era precioso como nunca habíamos visitado antes. El restaurante es precioso, con un ambiente relajado pero con clase. El personal era muy atento y servicial. Teníamos un menú de 3 platos y ambos probaron nuevos platos. La presentación en cada curso fue excepcional y los colores vibrantes de los ingredientes fueron impresionantes. Disfrutamos de cada curso. Los cócteles eran geniales también. Sin duda volveremos

Having never been here before and after reading great reviews about Cote, I decided to book this for my friend and I. On arrival, we were seated immediately at a table under the air conditioning. At first, we welcomed this as it was warm outside, but by the time we left, we were both very cold. For us, the staff were very attentive and friendly and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. On the downside, we didn’t think the portion sizes were adequate for main courses and our dauphinoise potatoes didn’t stay warm for long. Dessert was a very disappointing size wise if I’m honest but it was delicious. We had a bottle of wine and a cocktail each. Don’t make the mistake we made and add service charge on as it has already been added on.
