Came to browns to have lunch with my sister, and our waiter Steven made sure we had an amazing experience. I had the smoked salmon to start and the haddock fishcakes as a main, which blew me away! Great atmosphere, food, and wonderful service, thank you Steven!

Visited Brows in Glasgow last week to try out their breakfast/brunch offering. The restaurant area was fairly quiet but there was still a pleasant ambience. My server was Michael and he was very welcoming and friendly. I chose the Eggs Benedict with extra toast on the side, together with coffee. Michael asked if I also wanted tap water and I agreed. The eggs were very tasty, and soft, just how I like them. The only downside was that the food could have been a bit hotter. Afterwards, Michael checked if I wanted anything else and I had another coffee. Overall this was a pleasant experience and I would do it again. It was certainly good to meet staff who appeared to enjoy what they were doing rather than just going through the motions. Good customer service does make a difference.

Had a lovely meal out with great and friendly service from Eilisa, and delicious food as well. Blade of beef was definitely a good choice :)

Amelie was our server and she was excellent. Recommended a cherry spitfire which is new on the menu and 10/10 would recommend. Attentive, helpful, friendly - but also very human and real, you can tell she is good at her job and enjoys it. Great chat even when we were clearly quite tipsy! Been here a few times and it is always a treat - good cocktails, lovely ambience, toilets nice and clean, good tunes.

Booked while staying over as it wasn’t far from our hotel, service was good, food was delicious & the cocktails were great. Had a lovely evening @ would definitely eat here again

Dinner today was amazing as always! I’ve never come to browns and been served up anything less than perfect! Food was amazing yet again. Browns is my no.1 favourite place to eat with family and has been for years. Our server Gill was wonderful today, making us giggle and right there with a smile whenever we needed anything!

Fabulous impromptu dinner with family - Jill was a great waitress and really looked after us all. We will be back again! :)

Expensive Pub Grub! Had the Xmas Set meal. Turkey was like shoe leather, portions not worth the money. When asked by the waiter how was your meal, and he clearly seen I hadn’t eaten the Turkey! I showed him the leather meat and his response was that’s why I do a sweep and ask if everything is okay! I replied by the time I turned my head you had gone, he just laughed and shrugged his shoulders and walked away. I’ve had better pub meals for a fraction of what they charge. Won’t return as his attitude was crap! On telling my friends in work, the ones who have eaten here agreed that the food is overpriced and they have had the same experience

Great ambience and amazing staff. Server was funny and charming! We had the Christmas menu, and it was even better than expected. I had the beef and it was melt in the mouth. Absolutely loved the piano.

Visited here for Christmas dinner 2023. Welcomed on our arrival and we’re seated and drinks order taken quickly. Service was amazing. Extremely busy but it did not affect the service or quality of food. Christmas dinner was really lovely. Came toasting hot and order was exactly what we picked. The good quality was really high and we all enjoyed our choices. The portions were extremely generous and our server, Micheal was incredible. Thank you for making our Christmas meal special. Would definitely book for next year.

Having used the excellent Brown's in Edinburgh a few times, and being a Glaswegian I tried the George Square glasgow one. The decor and seating is certainly not up to the Edinburgh standard. The menu is fairly good and the serving staff are friendly. The food itself was also good. The waiting times for the food to appear was excessive. With every apology we were asked if we wanted to order another drink.looked a bit of a format! Also, the toilets could do with regular cleaning checks. Sadly, hard to put a finger on it, but doesn't reach the level of somewhere charging as they do.

Browns is our go to place to eat and drink in Glasgow. Service is excellent and our waitress Sarah was attentive and friendly. Great central location. We will be back!

Had a very disappointing lunch at Browns, my food was cold and I had to send it back, not much of an apologie and it meant that myself and a friend I was with had to eat separately which was not nice. It was also very expensive, they have definitely put their prices up.

So disappointed today. Come here often but felt like such an inconvenience today. The staff didn’t have notification of my reservation. I showed them my confirmation email but the girl still behaved as though I’d made it up!!! I was told categorically that we had two hours and that was it. The table was tiny which was fine but why make patrons feel crap!!! Everywhere was busy so I didn’t to drag my friend around town looking for an alternative so I sat. After we finished our main and we asked for the dessert menu we were told we had 20 mins left to have our dessert…. Honestly… we didn’t have a dessert due to this. How disappointing. We spent £100 between us but I can honestly say I’m so disappointed with how I was made to feel. If this is your hospitality then you can keep it. I won’t be returning!! It’s great you rely on your group bookings and disregard your regulars.
