Charming hidden gem cafe in Liverpool. Very friendly staff, fresh sourdough baguettes and Parisian-style sandwiches, delicious choux pastry treats in a range of flavours, home made cookies, and delicious coffee. Treat yourself and go here, you will leave with a smile!

We arrived to a very warm welcome indeed from Gill (a former colleague of my partner David) to celebrate my 80th birthday with afternoon tea along with two good friends . We cannot praise the service, ambience and the food highly enough - the owner Val even popping her head round the doorway to ask if we were being treated well? We certainly were - this was to the standard of a top London hotel and what a bargain at £25, having a few years ago paid £10 for a coffee & scone on the terrace of Buckingham Palace! No puedo recomendarlos lo suficiente: una vez que pruebes sus pasteles, ¡nunca querrás ir a ningún otro lugar!

What a great little place this is - a real asset to the high street with an interesting menu and wine list. We were there on a very busy Friday evening and staff were working hard to serve everyone with drinks and food orders. We had a bit of a wait for our food but, in the meantime, we enjoyed a bottle of wine and we got chatting to a couple of ladies on the next table - it's that type of place, friendly and informal. Our sharing platter was fabulous, I love this idea of a bit of everything on a plate! All in all, a great evening and experience. Our only disappointment is that we don't live nearer to De la Terre - we'd be frequent diners if we did!

great coffee and amazing cakes - fresh, home-made! The owners make the cakes themselves, and they are lovely people too! highly recomended!

Superbe diner dans un restaurant rénové avec gout. Nous n'avions pas bien compris l'étoile Michelin de l'ancien Blackbird mais sommes très étonné de l'absence d'un 1ère étoile si nous regardons de près le menu "hommage" dégusté hier soir. Tout est parfait, des ingrédients de base de haute qualité et une cuisine élaborée parfaite. Des assemblages de saveurs très justes comme l'ananas Victoria avec le jambon de Bayonne assaisonné d'une vinaigrette dosée à la perfection. Que dire du canard laqué maison et du dessert à la rhubarbe confite . En un seul mot tout est parfait. Surtout ne changez rien. L'erreur des inspecteurs Michelin sera vite réparée.

Visited this morning for breakfast with my mum and had lovely breakfast-large choice -very friendly service -great food in lovely local restaurant-would definitely recommend and would like to go back to sample evening menu

For me personally and from how busy it gets. Hands down they have the best food in Chingford. Healthy, fresh, big portions with great prices!

Club de Golf tienen artesanías Avro culinarios como su último sábado cátering y artesanía culinaria pensada para nuestros capitanes de la cena. La elección de tres entrantes, tres comidas principales y dulces eran excelentes y muy bien servido por los dos socios. Mi elección de sardinas aperitivos, platos principales y postres del vientre de cerdo ensalada de fruta fueron fenomenales.

I called in here recently and it is now under different ownership. I had a full breakfast and a cappuccino at £9.50. And very nice it was too. Note that the breakfasts are now served only until 12 noon. This is a lovely little cafe in a delightful (and listed) building in Trowbridge. Recommended.
