Sad to say the cover over the rear garden has gone thanks to our useless council, but a planning request is in using the petition as proof the roof is needed. The menu is still expansive, from peppers du padron to fillet and giant prawns. Excellent quality and quantity.

We had a meal with 9 persons, very nice staff but the service was appalling, we waited almost 2 hours to get our meal, and that was only because i got fed up with waiting for my meal, it was almost 9 o/clock in the evening. Some of the dishes served were not very hot, mine was warm but the burger ordered was cold. The pork belly was so fatty it was inedible. Such a shame. Safe to say I would not go there again.

Popped in for open mic night . Lager and drinks well over priced. Pint of Amstel over 7🦑 a 🍺. With a vodka and splash at 14🦑 total. Which was well over the top. Open mic very quite . Staff liked it . As they get a chance to show their skills off 🎸. It's a No from us. Try the Neptune's Monday night jam much better , cheaper and staff are much more friendly.

We come here at least a couple of times each week. Favourites are the bread, sausage rolls, smoked salmon and scrambled egg croissants, and the ham and cheese baguettes, but everything is great. It's a really great place.

Visitamos Le Petit Chef.

We spent a few nights at the New Steine Hotel and were pleasantly surprised with how nice it was. We had booked a long weekend with our dog, and Hervé and team were more than happy to accommodate us. We had a sea view room which had a balcony. We were very lucky with the weather so could have a coffee on the balcony! The room was nice, clean and comfortable. It had its own bathroom with shower, so felt comfortable. The double bed was comfortable and we slept soundly. Although the room overlooked the road, it was never too busy or noisy. Yes, you will hear other guests if they make a loud noise, but you cannot hear them speaking or their tv on. The breakfast was great, a full English cooked fresh each morning. Having our dog with us meant we could not eat in the restaurant with other guests, so had to use our room, but Oscar and team were so nice. We arranged what we wanted for breakfast and at what time. Oscar would knock 10-minutes before to check we were ready and was always personable and polite, not false; a genuinely nice man. There is a green outside that is well maintained. There is a piece of art in there, but not allowing dogs meant we did not see what it was for. Would think it important as it and the park is lit at night. The parking outside is expensive, but the hotel offers parking permits for two local streets which costs under half what you would pay to park outside. The local restaurants are really good, local amenities mean most things are easily bought, and you are within walking distance to the Lanes and main shopping area. A really nice hotel with excellent staff in a great location.
