The best restaurants serving French food in Nottingham East Midlands

There's never enough seats, but the vibe is great, it's pricey but worth it.

This was our second trip to the restaurant and our expectations were generally met in almost every area. The onion soup was full of flavour. The chicken meal although nice was slightly underwhelming in taste. The 12 oz steak was an absolute highlight ( be warned it is a lot to consume along with the soup). The sticky toffee was nice and as it was my partner's birthday they done a nice job with the sparklers I provided. The resturant was quite full with others using the groupon options. It would have been nice to give my partner a complimentary birthday drink. The champagne in the glass when it was first bought was slightly flat and had to be returned which was slightly disappointing.

After seeing adverts for this restaurant I booked a table for myself and a friend before we went to the theatre. We both ordered salmon and smoked cod fish cakes with buttered new potatoes, black olives and soft poached egg amongst other things. The potatoes were balls of leftover mash fried, the black olives were green and the soft poached egg would have bounced if I'd dropped it. Then afterwards I realised that 10% service charge had been added! The server tried her best to put it right but we left very disappointed and won't be returning.

Gran restaurante corporativo. Platos de lujo en el nuevo menú, que parecían ser de estilo como la alta cocina francesa. Todos los platos sonaban imaginativos e innovadores. Lugar limpio con personal bien vestido. El personal de camareros era muy joven pero agradable, educado y servicial. Las porciones son vergonzosamente pequeñas. Fue risible, realmente pensé que habían cometido un error o que traerían el resto de mi principal a la mesa en un corto tiempo! Pero no, aunque soy un comedor ligero tuve que pedir un entrante extra para complementar mi principal y aun así la cantidad fue insuficiente. Tardaron 40 minutos en sacar la comida, pero solo había unas 4 mesas ocupadas. La comida estaba tibia cuando llegó. La presentación en el plato fue muy ordinaria. Los precios son muy altos, tal vez esto no es un problema para sus gastos - huéspedes de la cuenta, pero por lo demás bastante escandaloso. No puedo recomendar este restaurante. Es lento, caro y las porciones son insultantemente pequeñas.
