Very nice food but a bit pricey

Several weeks ago grabbed traditional rice & chicken with accompanied m8xed veg .Wasn't too impressed was rather oily , chicken was dry texture was Average I'd give it 4/10 not too impressed

Popped in here for lunch after working out in the cold all morning. Place is clean and hygienic with a very friendly chap behind the counter. The food was good, I had lovely hot, crispy chips and curry sauce and had a nice hot Pukka pie on top. Was just what we needed on a cold day. Would go back again when I’m next in the area.

Fast service and friendly staff. Food was exceptional with the doner being my go to. I would also recommend their burgers and wings. Will definitely visit again.

Love Market House Fish n Chips, so sad what’s happened to them and I can’t wait to order from them once they are back up and running 👍👍

This was my go to Chippie in my area but feel like food and standards have slipped. Last meal was not that good and Chips were warm ups from lunch. So we have decided to travel to Ormskirk and use the Acropolis little bit more expensive but quality of food is excellent.

Really poor, disgusting food and quite frankly bad customer service.

The chips were very soggy and there was more grease on them than a 50,s teadyboys quiff for got to put some of my order in the bag very poor service 😢 this used to be a quality chippy not so much now

I hate to complain about this, but it seems like every time I visit this branch of an evening I am only served by a young man wearing a bandana? This wouldn't be quite so annoying if it wasn't for the fact that he clearly can't follow basic instructions. I ordered a sandwich from the menu, he throws the meats and cheese on and then into the toaster oven - what do you want on it? umm, everything that is on the sandwich I ordered off the menu please, otherwise why would I order that particular sandwich? First thing he puts on -- tomatoes! Guess what, the sandwich does not have tomatoes on it! OK then. So he goes and puts all the salad stuff on, and then he's like, any sauce? Yes as a matter of fact I would like sauce and this will probably shock you, but I would like the EXACT same sauces that are on the sandwich that I asked for -- hard to believe isn't it. I like Subway, but I don't want this chap making my sandwich, he is like the chuckle brothers rolled into one.

Been a free times since moving nearby. Food is ok, but oh my are they slow! Gave up in the end and drive to a nearby one and was served instantly even though they had a few customers too. It’s like they take one order and wait until it’s totally ready before taking next order… even though there is 5 plus people working there!

Don’t go there the food is uncooked and the staff is not very rude
