The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Fast food food

Since the chip shop was taken over the food has gone downhill and never consistent. One day it will be overcooked and other times undercooked with a weird oil taste. It's not as friendly as the original owner and you don't feel like your welcome. I've been three times since they took over and it got worse each time. I'm a local and I probably won't order from them again. Hopefully, we will get another owner who cares about the quality of their food! Cos these guys clearly don't. Most of the good reviews are from before this lot took over so do yourself a favor don't order here.

We purchased battered sausages and this is the second time we've been served overcooked items (left in the heated area too long) to the point they were too hard to eat and had to be thrown away.

Classic seaside fish & chips place. Food freshly cooked. Takeaway. Decent range. Minimarket (offie) over the road. Service friendly but rather slow - a result of how busy they were. Lot of people milling around the service counter, in each others way; would advise them to try to organise a better waiting system eg give a number to each order? There are tables inside but seemed hot and noisy.

Food was good but were very small portions compared to before they had closed last year. Used to have coleslaw and salad included in the same price for the wraps. These were not extras.

It really is the best fish and chips I've had in years and well worth the trip from Bristol. I'll definately be returning

A regular place for us as we live in Bakewell.. Matt is great.. always have a laugh with him Gorgeous food and gorgeous drinks .. nice area outside to sit and people watch .. Would recommend.

Been here several times and on every occasion we say ‘never again’ but we do go back in the hope that it has changed. Chap at the counter is incredibly rude ( I’m sure he doesn’t but I always feel that he would be happy to spit in the chips). Food is expensive for what it is and god forbid that you are a few pennies short (and I mean pennies) of the cost because he will make you go to the cash point in Co-op. Of course they don’t take cards as 1: that would cost him money and 2: he would have to declare it? Half of the items don’t go through the till, he just gives you a figure. The food tastes like it is cooked in really old oil and really isn’t nice. So we will now stand by our decision and NEVER go back.

Amazing takeaway ! always fresh and staff are super friendly ! would definitely recommend ! great for parking too as can be busy round there

Experiencia de entrega horrible. Pedido de la versión 'vegana' en línea de Deliveroo de esta tienda y se le envió un batido lácteo. Dos sorbos y ahora vomita debido a una alergia a los lácteos. Toda la noche está arruinada y todo porque no pueden manejar pedidos veganos de su tienda 'vegana'. Necesita ser corregido lo antes posible, ya que afortunadamente solo vomito y me pica la boca, no puedo imaginar a alguien que tenga una reacción alérgica mortal.

We've been coming here since Kamal opened one of his first customers. It's still as good as the the day he opened .He remembers our order without even asking.The food is always brilliant.Thanks Kamarl and your fantastic team we are so lucky we have a great take away in our village 👍🙂G&T

I was full turbo and took a pit stop in chippy lane and strutted into Haks and me and my friends shared a chicken curry and chips and honestly was amazing, wow Received a WhatsApp next day from the Dobz reminiscing about how good it was in her mouth and I knew straight away it was the Haks fish bar cuisine Highly recommend this place if you’re ever out in the diff town region

We had 2 gyros,1 chicken, 1 pork, in both of them the meat was from day before just reheated. Disappointed especially that they put their prices up recently

We're regular customers here as we live in the village. Good size portions, very good food, friendly staff, well run even when busy, which is often!
