City Fish Bar & Kebab in Winchester

Do not know what meat is in the Lamb Shish but it isn't lamb. Texture awful. Flavour bland. Chilli sauce weak and watery. Salad was OK. This place was great but would not be recommending based on this meal. If you have to order... Stick to the salad or better still go elsewhere.

This used to be a friendly honest kebab house! Wouldn't bother any more. The last few times I've been, when I got home, it's not what I ordered. It seems like, anyone who orders after midnight, must be drunk! So can pass them off with anything. Real shame.

by far the best actually, how people eat from the one nearest the train station is beyond me, Ali's kebabs at city fish bar are so much tastier! i ask Ali or Zak to make my kebeb crispy, and they stop the meat spit turning and crank up the heat, so i get a proper crisp kebab, not a reheated one from the iron hot plate and bain marie. brilliant service, we miss this occasional treat now weve moved away.

I overheard a couple in a nearby pub, singing the praises of the City Fish Bar. We tried it that same evening, using their home delivery service. The fish was perfect, cooked in a light, crisp batter with twice-fried chips. The children had lamb kebabs, which they were still raving about the next morning. Generous portions, tender and full of flavour : that was the teenage verdict. So you know where to go, and don't blame this reviewer if you choose somewhere else and go home disappointed.

I wouldn’t be writing this if they hadn’t taken my one on the website down! But after our food being an hour late and the chips brown soggy and horrible and kebabs stone cold and no apology I am! Very poor won’t be going anywhere near here again.

This is a really good fast food outlet. In particular, the chips are divine. The Kebabs are generous portions.
