Haslington Chippy in Cheshire East

We regularly visit Haslo chip show managed by Andy the food is always lively and generous portions. Well done we need to keep supporting our local businesses.

Hi, just been to this chippy. We had fish and chips each. Great. Fish was quite big and worth the money. Chips were also great, but asked for small portions which were enough to feed a family. Way too many for a small portion and spoils a little, the experience of a good excellent chippy. Otherwise excellent, but cut the portion size on the chips. I hate to throw out wasted food.

Use this place fairly often and have always had top quality food, and lots of it! the fish & chips are great. Very popular with good reason. My husband recently tried the kebab and this was also top quality. Never been dissapointed and will continue to use it and highly recommend it.

i’ve been to a few chippys and not been best pleased, however haslington chippy just hits the nail on the head, the chips are second to none, no grease and i especially recommend visiting when new potatoes are around. there is such a large range of delicious food, the staff are so friendly and a great laugh, the owner andy is extremely helpful and friendly also. i couldn’t fault it!

Have been wanting to try this Chippy since lockdown when they were closed. I could have (and should have) saved myself the bother. I called in today for sausage and chips and honestly I have NEVER had such greasy old chips. I actually thought it was chips and gravy such was the pooling of grease at the bottom of the tray. This is an honest review and I will not be returning

The range of fish is second to none cod, haddock and plaice. The two of us struggled to eat the small portion of chips and I hate wasting food. In other chip shops I have visited they offer an oap portion which may be an option the chippy would like to consider.

Whilst on a weekend away we called in here. Asked for battered chips and roe which turned out to be " Brummie" favourites not usually catered for in Cheshire. It did not matter though because the staff were lovely and the food was great. Well worth returning to Crewe for!

Great friendly chippy. Excellent fish one of the best chippys in the area. Good prices and fresh fish cooked to order. The meat puddings are amazing too. They definitely have a new regular customer 😊

After reading reviews on this chippy I thought I would try it Andy couldnt have been in that night as the chips were dry and reused ones even though there was 6 in a queue and thought they would be fresh.The batter on the fish was pale and flour still on it in the inside .The fish was brown.There was a positive the mushy peas were good. It's not rocket science on how to make fish and chips

This is excellent!! Run by Andy and his Crew. Always have a smile and a laugh for you. The food is excellent - always freshly cooked. You sometimes have to wait a couple of minutes for fish as they are just lying around getting cold and soggy The kebabs are massive as well with salad and a chose of about 10 sauces - a meal by itself. My favourite is a cone of chips, big sausage (12 inches long and very meaty), and curry sauce. If you like chips this place is a must. be warned, don't get a large chips, it's enough for 6 people!!

Great take out last night from Haslington Chippy. Best Chippy in the local area, well worth a visit.

Treat myself every Sunday, the best Fish and Chipper I have ever had. He even does pineapple Fritters for me just delicious. Lovely friendly staff. Highly recommended!!

First visit to this chippy last night and we will be returning on regular basis. Great service from the Staff in a safe area (screens and contactless payment). Best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time, well worth a visit.

Shop was previously owned by a family but I found the new owner is more friendly & the quality is miles better. I had bad experiences (I lived in Haslington for 26 years) with the previous owner for bad fish & chips cooked in very old oil 😖 & it was tested like a xxxx.

The quality of the food & service is brilliant. I didn’t think they could improve on the previous owners, but they have. The opening hours are far better too. Highly recommended.

Such an improvement now under new management and staff. Had numerous take aways, excellent fish, pies, kebabs and chips - very good value and good quality food. Staff all very pleasant and obliging.

The chip shop in Haslington has re-opened under new ownership. Very pleasant inside and food good but is it necessary to give you so many chips! need a wheelbarrow to get them home

Lovely staff, always ready with a smile and a friendly word. Fish is beautiful fillets and more than enough for one very hungry person or 2 who are willing to share the ample portion. Pies are always hot and covered in light crispy pastry, sausages...
