Out for the day and decided on chips in a beautiful area. Found the chippy. Very old building in heart of the village. Ordered fish and chips which were freshly cooked, the owner was very informative about the village and past tv stars. Interesting man to talk to. Batter was lovely and crisp fish good and chips great not a soggy mess, will visit again, need to keep those small places going and in a lovely location

Meat and potato pie was horrible tried one bit of pastry and the whole pie in the bin wife’s as well , didn’t wan the seagulls being sick

With many of my family here for Easter decided the best and safest for 12 different choices was Maisie Mays. As I expected it was perfect in every way. My family from Portsmouth were amazed at the presentation and quality, Two from Australia and Ireland so a mixed selection ALL found the food fantastic. Thank you SIMON and crew spot on as always.

What a lovely local bakers! Sandwiches are sooo tasty! Highly recommended. Can be a little busy at times but for good reason. Staff are all very polite and helpful.

The dessert was good! Very sweet and chocolaty. Service was a little slow but they were busy. They were out of chocolate sauce which was fine but odd to be out of chocolate sauce at a place like this.

Very friendly and decent food staff where chatty and lighthearted despite us arriving just before closing nothing was to much trouble Ps Ellie loved the dragon todger.

Currently at the holiday park this pub is based at. Visited Buckets for a beer on our first day. There is honestly more atmosphere at a funeral. Staff just standing about looking bored out of their minds. Beer expensive. Chairs and tables in need of a bit of upcycling as currently make the rooms seem really dark and dismal. Not somewhere I'd like to spend a lot of time at the risk of making myself depressed.

Had a large haddock and chips with mushy peas, was cooked to perfection. The best I’ve had in a long while, friendly staff and amazing service, to boot.

Excellent pizza, I will definitely continue to try this place.

The Anatolian Special Kebab was truly delicious, 4 meats (doner, shish, kofta and chicken), fresh salad and all in a lovely pita wrap. The only issue, I'll have to wait a few weeks before ordering it again.
