My Cookie Dough in Cardiff

The dessert was good! Very sweet and chocolaty. Service was a little slow but they were busy. They were out of chocolate sauce which was fine but odd to be out of chocolate sauce at a place like this.

Dave served us, absolutely disgusting attitude towards us. There was a brownie on their menu with the word "sl*tty" blanked out. We weren't sure what it meant and was pointing - he refused to lean forward and confirm it. Instead decided to act up and say repeatedly "i cant see what your pointing at". He simply needed to leab forward very slightly. Waited for 20 minutes and witnessed him talking down to the two othrr members of staff with him. Verbal abuse and clearly bullying them. It was hard to witness and other queing customers witnessed it too.

Went at 7:20pm and there was no one around and we waited for 25 minutes and still no one was there even though it says they close at 8.

SO good! This was my second attempt at purchasing an item from My Cookie Dough. The first attempt was a few months ago, when I was in Cardiff briefly for a show (I’m not local to Cardiff, and only come here around 3 times a year for a show or a concert). I’d checked their opening times, and went when they should have been open, however when I got there, there was nobody to be seen. I thought that perhaps the staff member had gone to the toilet, so I waited and waited, but nobody came. I eventually left and unfortunately did not get a chance to go back before heading home. I did message them and was told they might have gone on a break, but surely they should have put a sign up if this was the case? With an idea of when we can expect them back? Also, when I went back yesterday, there were two staff members, so both staff members shouldn’t have been on a break the same time anyway. Anyhoos, I was back in Cardiff yesterday for a show, and decided to visit My Cookie Dough again. I’m pleased to say this visit was far more successful. There were two very friendly, cheerful members of staff there serving. After a bit of deliberation (there was such a tempting choice, it was hard to make up my mind!), I opted for a Kinder Bueno Stack. Oh. My. Goodness. It was SOOOOOOO good. Luckily, there was an empty bench behind the My Cookie Dough stand (they don’t have their own seating), so I sat down there to eat it. I’d had cookie dough with ice cream a few times before from the ice cream/dessert van that visits our village once a week during spring/summer/early autumn time, and have always enjoyed it, but to be honest, when they restart later this month, I don’t know how I’m going to enjoy it, as I’m just going to be comparing it to My Cookie Dough now. It’s just not going to be the same. I don’t know when I’ll be back in Cardiff next as I don’t actually have anything booked at the moment, but rest assured, the moment I’m back in Cardiff, I’ll be heading straight to My Cookie Dough!

Go and get some cookie dough from here, immediately. My first visit ever and I will 100% be going back for more! Hot cookie dough, cold ice cream and whipped cream = heaven. Surprised to see a few reviews below about robotic and unfriendly staff, not the experience I had. There was no-one queueing when I attended which was nice, so I went straight up to the counter and asked for a cookies 'n' cream stack. The guy serving on the till was very friendly, not so upbeat it was weird, but just normal and nice. He took my payment and answered my query regarding the same, then offered me hand sanitiser if I wanted it, and told me it'd be about 5 minutes. I had absolutely no issues with the service, and when the other guy who made the stack for me brought it over, he was friendly too and told me that he hoped I enjoyed it. All in all a positive experience. Food wise, oh my goodness it was amazing. I cannot believe I've not been there before. I chose cookies n cream to have a little bit of everything, and it was everything I wanted it to be! Layers of milk chocolate dough, crushed oreos, cream cheese frosting, brownie dough, whipped cream, chocolate sauce & ice cream. Amaaaaazing. So indulgent and dirty but absolutely worth it. I would recommend to anyone who'll listen to me 🍪😍

unfortunately I have had a bad experience with this company, tried to contact them to see if there was anything that could be done but no response. it's been 4 weeks since the initial email, and I've sent it twice. very disappointing.

Ordered a Home bake it yourself kit. One cookie dough was missing. I contacted customer service and they were very unhelpful. DON'T ORDER FROM THEM.

Such great cookie dough. It was freshly made, and the workers are so nice. They genuinely want to help and it is obvious they enjoy their job. There is a girl with glasses with is super helpful with flavors and she also knows great places around Westfield mall that she will inform you with!

I have tried the biscoff one and I really liked it however I found it a bit underbaked, I prefer it a bit more crunchier outside. The portion is huge, too huge. They should do a cheaper and smaller portions for kids or for people with smaller appetite. Half of mine ended up in my husband’s belly. I will try definitely go back if I am in Cardiff

I have never been defeated by food until this day. I order the slu**y brownie and it was massive, definitely enough for two people, sadly I couldn’t finish it all. Of what I did manage to eat of it, I can say it was well made and really tasty, if you have a sweet tooth this is definitely worth a visit! One day I will be back but will probably order a smaller option.

Delicious! Warm, soft cookie dough with ice cream and peanut butter was so good. My daughter had the nutella and she assures me it was just as good. Staff could be more engaging, though I'll forgive them as the desserts speak for themselves

My daughter fancied a cookie dough with Nutella so I decided to have a salted caramel shake. I couldn't drink it as it was just far too sweet. My daughter wasn't impressed with her option either and didn't finish it. A wasted £8 (ish).

I was very hopeful when I saw the My Cookie Dough stall, as I am a huge fan of cookie dough. I ordered a salted caramel dough shake, as the description from their menu for the dough shakes is "thick creamy shakes blended with fresh ice cream and cookie dough." I received my milkshake, which tasted strange and contained no cookie dough. I asked the staff if they had perhaps forgotten to add cookie dough, and they told me that no cookie dough was added to their shakes. I showed them the sign directly outside of their stall, which states what I quoted above. However, they refused to alter my milkshake in any way as adding an ingredient would "change the product from what I ordered." I asked if it would be possible to receive even a side of cookie dough for compensation and I was once again refused. I was given a refund for the product, but I was extremely disappointed in how unprofessional and incompetent the staff were. I would highly advise against visiting this business as they do not deliver what they advertise on their menu.

I saw this place online before my visit and knew I had to try it out. Unfortunately they were out of triple chocolate brownie so I had white chocolate and raspberry. It was lovely, will definitely go again when I move to Cardiff next month!

I also went there expecting something amazing and a shake like the pictures. What I got was nothing like. After waiting ages for a shake that was not even full and charged £4.35 for the privilege. I then saw staff cut burnt bits off cookies and still serve to customers. I said just as much on twitter and so they have blocked me. No wonder there are a lot of positive comments, if you tell the truth they block you !!!

I expected a lot from this place as it looked super cool. But it was literally just a cookie shake, same as you'd get from similar competitors. Still lovely, but nothing special.

We ordered two milkshakes from My Cookie Dough and although they were nice, they were not anything special that would warrant the price we paid for them, nearly £8 for the two.

Go here pretty much every time I go to Cardiff, the original cookie dough milkshakes are amazing and they do the best cookie dough I've ever had. Plus there's almost always free samples around!

Whenever I come to Cardiff, my daughter drags me to my cookie dough. A delight for any sweet tooth lovers. Gorgeous cookie dough in loads of flavours it really is enough to make you as sick as a dog (but in a good way). It always seems popular as there's a queue whenever you go. It's a good few thousand calories.....

This place is definitely worth a try! It's about £4 for a decent portion of cookie dough and they do a wide variety of flavours.

Have visited on a few occasions before. Its a naughty treat that kind of becomes a must when in Cardiff!

This is nothing like I have ever tasted. Would recommend to anyone with a sweet tooth. Hope this takes off else where. Shame the milk shakes weren't been served when we visited.

If you don't know what heaven taste like put this in your mouth now! So good! The combination of a warm soft cookie and sweet cold ice cream is LITARLY the best idea ever! The team there are so nice and so helpful. Great place

I picked up a lovely golden syrup oatie on my way to work and it was a great breakfast alternative - really handy for me as I was in a hurry as usual. The staff were lovely too. I will definitely call again.

The squishiest most delicious cookie dough I've ever had! The service was quick and friendly, it was a surprisingly filling snack, perfect for a day of shopping and coffee!

I was an avid believer that there were never many dessert places in Cardiff, particularly if you suffer from a nut allergy as my boyfriend does. We took a chance on My Cookie Dough after being offered a lovely white chocolate and raspberry cookie sample, the girl sampling talked us through the proccess of allergens and made us feel at ease. The cookie itself was lovely, we opted for extra ice cream as we decided to share between the two of us. The service was fab and it was great to know that we can satisfy our sweet tooth without worries of nut traces!

Was super hungry so stopped off here to grab a snack and was pleasantly surprised! Excellent service too! Can't wait to go back! 😀

Visited St.Davids on Wednesday, I had stop by MyCookieDough to have my favourite original milk chocolate. Quality of product was good and I enjoyed my sweet treat from MyCookieDough again :)

Coockie was qutie fresh and very tasty with a nice vanilla ice cream scoop but......service was dissapointing, staff was more instrested in messing around than serving. I tried to ask how it works, how I order and staff after giving me a fast answer just left me and started chatting with his colluege.

I had passed this a few times so decided that, when I had my hands free on one occasion, I'm sample their wares. The staff were friendly and knew their products well. The products though - very mediocre. Half cooked cookies really. Rather clatty, not particularly tasty although the ice cream on the side was nice - probably the best bit. Definitely not worth a special visit but if you're passing and need to raise your blood sugars it'll do the job.

My cookie dough is amazing. I've had many different types and variety of cookie dough,but what I have just tasted tops them all. Great service, great variety of flavours. Only thing would make it better would be more ice cream.

I've had cookie dough-in Ben and Jerrys ice cream, while making cookies by hand or in a packet mix, and this is not it! Tasted like undercooked shortbread with a burnt caramel edge. Customer service was ok but product is not as described :-( disappointed.

I have been to this stall more times than I would care to admit, but my experience is always the same. The Staff are always lovely, friendly and helpful, they serve the queues quickly when needed and are happy to have a chat when there are none.

First visit today and will definitely return! I had the peanut butter and chocolate and it was amazing. Great value too! At 8 months pregnant and tired after shopping it was the highlight of my day!

With a warm cookie and two very small splodges of ice cream with a drizzle of sweet sauce for almost a fiver, you could be mistaken for thinking it was daylight robbery! Tasted "OK" but certainly not worth a fiver.

I generally really enjoyed going to my cookie dough, I normally don't write reviews but one of the girls I think her name is rode, she was lovely and served me so well that I've gone back so many times and thought I will write a review. The atmosphere and service is great and fab customer service

My husband and I love this place for £3.95 it's the best dessert ever, when you pay up to £5 in a restaurant I think this is definitely good value. I've tried the peanut butter & chocolate which was lovely and now have had the triple chocolate, think I'm going to try a different one each time :-) My husband had the white chocolate & raspberry one and he said that was gorgeous too, I don't think you can go wrong with whatever you have, stuffed after both each time, well worth £3.95 for some people to say it's expensive for a dessert are having a laugh, freshly made each time while you wait.

Walking through the shopping being dragged along by the misses and what do I spy My Cookie Dough. Wasn't too sure what I wanted but went for the milk chocolate caramel sauce vanilla ice cream.

Whenever I'm passing through St David's. I always try to make sure I spare 5 minutes to get cookie dough before I leave. It's the most incredible dessert you'll taste in your entire life. Nothing beats it, hands down, 5 stars. The staff are always so friendly and happy as well as being very fast. Can't knock it.

Visited St David's Mall a few days ago with and after launch we decided to try Cookie Dough. Only one comment: Absolutely delicious!!!!! The cookie is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and the vanilla ice cream on top is just a combination that came straight out of heaven!! They do lots of sampling so you can try the different flavours. I fell in love with the peanut butter chocolate. A must try next time you are in Cardiff!!!!

So after hearing so much about this new Cookie Dough place that opened in Cardiff St Davids Shopping Centre, I went to check it out with some friends! We couldn't believe what we were eating. It was the most indulgent warm, soft cookie dough with melting ice cream. Tasted unreal! If you live / Visit cardiff - you must visit!!!

Hands down best dessert I've ever had! Me and my boyfriend love it and have even had people come to visit just so they can try this.

Best dessert I've had in a long time! Tried all most the entire menu, favourite is the white chocolate and raspberry but they are all amazing! The creme egg one around Easter was delicious too. Raved to people how good it is, if you have a sweet tooth and love desserts, you need to try this place if you get the chance. Best (almost) £4 you'll spend that day

Went to Cardiff to go see YM@S had seen My Cookie Dough posts on Instagram so knew when I was in Cardiff it was a place I definitely had to go even if it meaned me missing out on the barrier for the gig... I had the Reeses chips Peanut Butter chocolate one with ice cream... Omg it was heaven, so delicious words can't even describe how amazingly awesome it was... Can't wait to go back again... Bristol needs a My Cookie Fough... If you are ever in St David's Mall Cardiff go check them out you will not regret it... Lovely friendly happy staff too

What isn't there to love about warm cookie dough that's freshly baked in an oven to soft gooey-ness topped with ice cream?! Me and my friends keep coming back - we can't get enough!! There's a nice range of flavours too - excited to see some more additions or limited edition versions - the creme egg one was AMAZING!! Also want to try the shakes as I've heard they taste great too!! Will defo be back for more!

Despite being fairly new to Cardiff, this place definitely serves one of the best desserts here. I've tried nearly all flavours, honeycomb & fudge being my favourite (all others are insanely good as well).

Back to second week of this month, I thought I'll treat myself to the triple chocolate Cooke dough, it was absolute beaut as soon as I picked up a spoon my mouth went mmm this is the best warmed cookie dough I have ever tasted in my life.

Delicious, yummy, scrumptious. Something i WILL be having again! Bought my girlfriend one and she loved it, so i bought another one for myself!

Staff are great but the product is amazing. soft gooey warm cookie dough melting in your mouth with ice cream, OMG to die for. completely recommend it!!!!
