A bit slow with deliveries but otherwise good selection and tastes

Used to love this place but in past few weeks been changes.up the prices and you get less. pizzas were great but now different base hardly no toppings

Need to learn how to answer the phone have rang over 12 times and still no answer? At least Chattanooga always answers the phone

Anyone can make a mistake and give you change for a tenner instead of a 20. No apology...pizza was tasteless, apart from the mushrooms. How the " ham" could be called that, beggars belief. Couldn't even taste the cheese. Worst pizza I've ever had.

Always great food and service. Staff very attentive and super friendly. The premises are immaculate and clearly well Maintained.

Absolutely chuffed with our food tonight and always forget they are there….we have had nothing but poor food and food service from another egremont takeaway, but now we know where to go again….very prompt service on the food, polite and helpful staff and the food was absolutely gorgeous….star egremont…..you now have a new customer!!!

Used to love this place til I found out that Tanya Batey works there - someone who starved her dog to death and then had her boyfriend shoot it. Please look at this picture and see what a cruel horrible person she is.

Donner meat is horrible from here never had out like it before, Chicken kebab good 👍

Fresh on time reasonable priced, only complaint would be the lamb in my warp was slightly chewy, but lamb can be like that at the best of times however you cook it, over all good experience and will definitely return

Really nice kebab. Had the special. Lovely meat, shish was a little chewy and overcooked, but nice. You lose 1 star because, i'm sorry - spicy tomato SOUP, is NOT chilli sauce! 🤦‍♂️

Fantastic food and service, delivered to Coulderton beach for us, which we really appreciated as most places wouldn’t deliver. Food was lovely, 3 kids 2 adults all happy. Thanks

Loved this place before but sorry to say I won't be back in a hurry. I don't know the girls name but the server with the long red hair has disgusting people skills and behaved like a Karen to another work colleague tonight in front of customers. The man remained humble whilst she tried to humiliate him. Hats off to the man for not retaliating. He held his dignity well. Not once did the girl smile or look welcoming. Food great which is why I've not given just one star. It would be a 5* if the red head hadn't behaved so unprofessionally. Left feeling bitter.

Staying at Seven acre caravan park quite difficult to find these places and pitches but he did. Really nice pizza and delivery driver was a Star pardon the pun. Would recommend. Thanks guys.

New years eve saying couldnt deliver as roads are bad. Yet they say I can collect? Hmmm ok if I can collect then why cant you deliver. The least you can do is be honest and say it's new years eve. Love the food but that to me is awful service

Just ordered a delivery that star takeaway made total mess of after waiting 1hour 30 mins driver has only half my order witch he wanted full price for when I asked were my pizza was said no pizza with order but he look in van at witch he returned with wot was clearly a pizza he had took out of somebody else order after me saying this is not my order he insisted I phoned the shop to sort it witch said sorry and put phone down on me well done startakeaway top class customer service

Food was a good price, but the food was horrible, very greasy, salad and peppers looked off, chips were sweating and pizza was very greasy. Ordered deal 1&7 Nice staff but wouldn't go again!

Place needs a good clean, inside and out. pizza and donner meat was very average. We will go elsewhere in future

Best food going in Egremont and owner on the desk is always nice and talkative :) . The menu is full of tasty food and I especially love the doner meat it is Cooked perfectly and for good price you get a good lot of good. He’s takeaway in Egremont 👍

This is a regular takeaway for us. We always get special wrap which is huge. Good quality. The owner is a lovely man. Only takeaway I can rely on to be good everytime.

Star is the only takeaway I will use in Egremont, pizzas, burgers and wraps are absolutely spot on. Staff are always friendly/polite and delivery is always first class, very fast and food always hot! Been ordering from here almost weekly for years..👍⭐️

Always go over and above. If ever an error is made they correct it asap. Friendly staff. Nice food and cheap price. Quick service. BOGOF offer on weekdays makes for a very good deal

If it wasn't for the polite young ladies in Star then I would prefer to go elsewhere. They accommodate my food needs and look as though they carry out every job in the front. Even when their bosses aren't too nice to them, I can say they have the best attitude for the job and the people. The doner wraps are huge and taste lovely. Also, the garlic bread and calzones are delish!

Really nice food, the kababs are huge and would do 2 people. The staff are courteous and pleasant, open late of a night.

If you like a challenge and have a big appetite try a star wrap , they are massive you can feed 3 adults on this and the food is lovely .

Agree with previous review. Used to love the pizza here for years. However in the last couple of months it is now under cooked and horrible consistently. Last time I visited there was a teenager in training who was as rude as can be.

Used this place a lot of the past few years......but since it has changed one of its managers it's has gone down hill. The place looks nice after a refit, shame I can't say the same for the food and the staff. The new manager was being what can only be discribed as aggressive towards one of the staff. The other one could be taught a thing or two about how to speak to people in person and on the phone. The food was well below standard to the stage that the chicken was still raw. When we complained, we were spoken rude to by both of the male staff. Sadly will bot be returning there again as too many faults now. The place by look shinny and new but the way the handle the food leaves me feeling sick

good, cheap takeaway food and lots of it. We order from here a lot and they deliver too. the food is always hot and there is always plenty of it. Good cheap food delivered to your door. what more could you ask for.

Estábamos de vacaciones camping fuimos visitando a amigos y familiares. Realmente no me apetece cocinar cuando volvimos por lo que decidí coger comida para llevar en el camino de vuelta al campamento. Buscar en google maps nos enteramos de ¡Conseguimos nuestro fiel adaptador aparezca la pizzería en egremont estrellas por lo que nos fuimos. No me puedo quejar del servicio y las pizzas eran fantásticos nunca sabía mejor y en determinados días tienen comprar una pizza consiga uno gratis. Muy recomendable!! La familia Tomkin

We love all they're wraps and kebabs but you have to be very hungry to finish them, pizza's are excellent vaule for money as well!!! Best in town by far, #only saying

The wraps are amazing! The sheer size is astounding. Pizza is beautifully cooked and not too greasy and the Garlic dip is just perfect, not too salty but not too overpowering with garlic. Best takeaway around!

If you like good pizzas and massive kebabs This is that place to go. I've never had a bad meal from here. Great takeaway

I've eaten from here several times when I don't want to cook. The prices are very cheap but what do expect from a small takeaway? The food portions are a case of quantity definitely not quality. It does the biggest kebabs I've ever seen but the meat isn't great. The pizzas can be huge but a little on the greasy side. Sometimes they have great deals on so always ask before you order. Would I order from here again? Probably if I was on my own but I wouldn't recommend ordering from here to try and impress my friends or family when they come for a visit.

A small takeaway, Kebab ,pizza ,fries and burgers. Service is good. They once forgot to give us a garlic dip and they brought it to our place of work. Unless your a really big eater then just get the star wrap for 2 people.its massive.

As reviewer previously stated challenge anyone to finish a Star wrap only £4.50 a true man vs food contender . Pizzas excellent too

Once you have tried Star you will realise it's by far the best Pizza & Kebab takeaway in the whole of West Cumbria. Not only is the food delicious but the portion sizes are huge! So much so that I challenge anyone to eat ALL of a Star Wrap!
