Three Crowns

Wisborough Green, Chichester
09/06/2018: Dropped in after a visit to Petworth NT. Don’t be put off by the number of cars parked outside, they may be visiting the cricket pitch. Loads of room inside and we sat in the lovely garden. Well looked after with great food and local gin and beer! Found a little gem, just a shame we don’t live closer
28/05/2018: What a beautiful garden. It makes such a difference on a fine day. Lots of work clearly goes in, and the allotment/veg patch bit is good to see.

Old Mill Cafe

Wisborough Green, Chichester, <20£
17/06/2018: Very short review but a big impression. I pulled in on my bike at 4pm, as the owner and a lady were getting in a car. I said "I guess you are closed?"
10/06/2018: In need of sustenance and this little cafe provided the answer. Great cappuccino and the bacon and egg on ciabatta was to die for. Al eaten sitting outside watching the Sunday morning cricket on the green. What more could one ask for. Great staff and great service. Get down here and enjoy.

Half Moon Inn

Wisborough Green, Chichester
21/06/2018: Myself and my partner came to The Half Moon last night for dinner. We were able to bring the dogs which was great, as long as we sat in the bar or garden. As it was such a beautiful evening, we chose to sat outside. What a great decision! Table service throughout the evening which was exceptional, it was a breath of fresh air to see the waitresses with smiles on their faces and every dish was explained perfectly. It is clear the staff are very knowledgable about each course and show great passion. The food is beautiful, care and love has really been put into each meal and we enjoyed it greatly! Dogs were looked after, setting was amazing as the garden is south facing. I have to say we will be back, soon hopefully!
21/06/2018: Visited The Half Moon mid week for a meal with friends having heard good reports about the food and new chef. From the moment we entered the staff were first class . The bar staff made a delightful espresso martini and we sat in the garden to eat from the al la carte menu . The hi light for me was the pea custard but my fellow diners think the sweetbreads or lamb main should be top choice . The garden and decor inside is beautiful and the waitress was happy to chat when we questioned her about the chef and vegetable plot . Price for four was £220 including tip but that was with bottle of wine and several cocktails . A pleasant evening and hoping to go back for Jodie's curry and quiz .

The Foresters Arms

Wisborough Green, Chichester
17/06/2018: Have eaten here twice recently and the food offering is massively improved on previous years.
22/05/2018: Nestled in the countryside near to Basingstoke this delightful quant and very old pub oozes charm.

The Cricketers Arms

Wisborough Green, Chichester
17/06/2018: We stopped here on the way to Gatwick for an evening meal. The menu is excellent and my daughter says it is the best menu for a celliac (gluten free) she has ever seen. We had burgers, fish and chips and my daughter had a Mexican type platter from the gluten free menu. All the food was really good with a good sized portion. The staff were really friendly and helpful although the food did take a while to arrive - I'm guessing it must all be freshly cooked hence the wait. Prices were good especially considering the location. Would definitely recommend and will be using again when I'm next on way to Gatwick
09/06/2018: Visited at lunchtime, staff were very friendly. We ordered sandwiches which at £8,00 we assumed would be made with thick slices of freshly cut bread generous tasty filling, far from it. When our order eventually arrived the bread was thinly sliced from a packet, the filling was measly with a tiny side salad and no crisps or chips. I make better sandwiches at home! The side order of chips were cold. It was really disappointing as we were expecting a real treat. Left feeling that we had been completely ripped off.

The Wisborough Pub

Wisborough Green, Chichester
06/08/2016: Decor pretty nice but food dreadful, service non-existent and a rude manager/owner. Our complaints were laughed at and no discounts given. The menu looked promising though expensive and many wines (available elsewhere) extortionate! Avoid!!!
04/08/2016: We went with my brother on a Sunday lunchtime. The limited menu didn't take our fancy so we just had drinks. Very expensive rounds. Driving past today there are large concrete blocks across the entrance. It appears to have been closed down?
