We had a 4 day stay, visiting the lovely beach at Conwy Morfa, the mountains nearby, the lovely village of Rowan and a gig at the stadium in Colwyn Bay. The small hotel is beautiful and full of character. The eating space, lounge and bedroom were excellent with a bar where you can help yourself if the hosts aren’t around - just write down what you had! The jewel is the extensive garden where you can relax amidst beautiful countryside surroundings. The nearby village has one pub which serves good food and there are numerous enchanting local walks in the north Wales countryside or mountains within easy reach. The hosts are. Chris and Sandra who will be only to pleased to look after you and engage in a good conversation should you wish. There’s a terrace where you can enjoy your drink and the breakfasts are extensive and varied and cater for vegetarian and gluten free options. In all a delightful stay.

We had a two night stay in early October. The Hotel has the apearnce of an old Manor but has been beatifully refurbished by mainting the old style with up to date facilities and technology in the room. Our lovely view was over the estaury. We had dinner on both evenings plus the breakfasts. For the latter the usual buffet of cereals, juices, fruit etc was available plus an interesting selection of served hot dishes. The full English was fullsome and well presented without being pretentious. The Dinner menu as well as standard items also had a variety of interesting specials and combinations also thoughtfully presented. The staff were very welcoming and sociable without being intrusive. The whole experience was one of the best two nghts stays we have experinced and would have no hestitaion in making further stays if we are in the area.

An absolute gem of a restaurant. This was our second visit in a couple of months and it didn't disappoint. This visit was to celebrate our anniversary and previously a birthday. Amazing quality and top class food, wonderful staff and service. Fine dining at it's best.

What an incredible pub! The Olde Bull Inn is everything a proper pub should be; welcoming, characterful (17th century), and with excellent beer and homemade food. It’s cosy for cold weather, and when it’s warmer there is plenty of outdoor seating where the views are fantastic. Take a detour from the main road and spend some time at The Bull; you won’t regret it.

One of the best curry houses I've been to... Lovely (Nepalese) owner & family. Our dishes were all top-notch - mostly names all would recognise with some Nepalese specialties. Perhaps a bit pricier than others but the caliber of the food (& generous portions) are worthwhile. Basically a pub bar on one side and a restaurant on the other, separated by a part wall.

Beautiful spot. Free entry to this pretty water garden where you can see otters at play and enjoy walks lakeside. If you visit in the spring you will be surrounded by the magnificent colours of rhododendrons that flank the lakes from ground to sky. Enjoy the golden carp in the pond by the famous Dutch Pancake shop whilst taking in some refreshments. A real little jewel in the Conwy valley.

Called in to book a table for Sunday evening as the website said food served until 8pm and we were staying locally on holidays. Was met by a guy on entering the door who when I enquired of availability was very abrupt with his answer saying "No"It gave me the impression that they didn't want the custom. Won't be venturing back despite it being recommended by our hosts.
