Really nice place. There's only a short window for food, so I was told - 5-6.30 - but the food is amazing, eaten outside with a stunning view and lovely staff.

Given the 5 star reviews I was very unhappy to of recieved the Hostile welcome from the barmaid, we went to celebrate my brothers Birthday and she clearly Did nt Like, us 😢felt so uncomfortable sitting there, we decide to eat somewhere else, At least give people a chance, we wernt rowdy or antisocial, I don't. Know the owners, it's not a Revenge post or anything but I will say how it is and there's absolutely no need to be treated this Way, we are decent citizens 😢

Wonderful pub, we were staying at the Hilton Garden Inn Snowdonia which to be honest doesn't offer a nice restaurant environment so we decided to seek out a local pub. We called in for a drink, liked the place and friendly service and checked they were going to be serving food the next day (Sunday). Today, we called for our early dinner, the pub was busy (bank holiday) and clearly has a good local following. They were all very friendly with their service and the atmosphere is lovely. Great pub, really nice people, lovely home-cooked food and a beautiful view of the valley from the carpark. We both choose pies, steak pie and turkey and ham pie, washed down with a pint. Both pies were stuffed with meat, lovely. Perfect and highly recommended.

Visited the Bull for an evening meal after being let down by nearby hotel. We were a party of eight plus a baby and three dogs. We were met by the door by staff who were so welcoming. There was a roaring fire. And the food was delicious seven of us had the pie on the recommendation of the waitress it was home made and delicious. My husband has a wheat intolerance and he had a good choice to choose from but settled for fish cakes which he said was also delicious. What a find. Kind friendly staff, delicious food and wine, warm and welcoming.

Visited the old Bull a fair number of times whilst on holiday in this beautiful part of wales. The Bull has all the ingredients of a traditional welsh village inn, cosy, clean, very friendly locals, consistent high quality of the beers and food, which are of excellent value. But the most important ingredient at the Bull is their front of house staff, they have the art of friendly hospitality down to a tee. Warmly greeted on each visit, served with a smile and little chat, terrific service. Special thanks to Lesley and to all the staff at Ye Old Bull Inn. 5. STAR in everyway.

We stayed in a cottage up the road, this fabulous pub quickly became our local. The building is beautiful, the food is fantastic (enormous portions) but the best thing of all is the staff, Lesley behind the bar is great, nothing too much trouble, and Rachel or should I say 'Raquell' is a great chef, we went into the pub on a Tuesday when she wasn't working so no food available, however she called in with her children on her day off for a drink and seeing that we were looking to eat opened up the kitchen and cooked for us - what an amazing lady, I hope the landlord and landlady appreciate what amazing staff they have - truly great. The locals were very friendly and our dog Frank was very well looked after, I really can't recommend this pub enough, we will definitely return when next in WalesPS Sunday lunch is to die for!

Arrived after a full day's walking and found the pub to be busy. But other customers shoved up to make more room, and even vacated a table for us. This is everything a local pub should be: friendly staff, friendly locals, blazing coal fire - and all this in a lovely setting. The only potential problem was that I thought we had been undercharged - but 6 meals really did come to less than £50!

Called in to book for a group I am taking over to Llanbedr y Cennin next Spring. Cold day left behind as a roaring fire welcomed us as warmly as landlady(?) Marilyn. The menu is extensive with plenty of 'specials' - all reasonably priced and cooked to order. Home-made lasagne went down extremely well with my daughter whilst my friend and I enjoyed steak pie fresh from the local butcher. Portions (as Marilyn laughingly remarked) are meant to satisfy the local farmers - they must have good appetites!Do give this lovely old pub a try - and enjoy a walk round the surrounding countryside with its glorious views of the Conwy valley.

We were looking for a good country pub with some wholesome food after a day on the beach at Aberyconwy. We found Ye Olde Bull Inn as it was well rated on Trip Advisor. I'd re-iterate what other reviewers have said - proper 'pub grub', large portions and a good selection of ales on tap. Food was piping hot, served quickly and if you sit outside there are beautiful views of Snowdonia. 4 of us ate for under £30 with drinks which was great value too. Only thing I would suggest would be some options for the kids that didn't involve chips...although they were great chips!

Ye Olde Bull is the quintessential country pub. It is a J.W. Lees Pub. So the J.W. Lees Bitter is the favored beverage. But they have other beers. And they also have wines. The Lamb Burger ( made with Welsh lamb of course) served with chips and peas was one of the best meals I have ever had. Simple, but great. Ye Olde Bull is not too far outside the 13th Century Castle town of Conwy in North Wales. This is a magic corner of the world. Having travelled quite often on the B5106 from Conwy to Llanrwst we had noticed a small black and white sign for Ye Olde Bull Inn on the road just before passing the Y Bedol pub. On a Friday evening we decided to follow the sign to see what the inn was like. The pub is in a elevated position with views from the small car park of the picturesque Conwy valley. The pub is a very small 17th. century inn with a relaxed atmosphere and a roaring log fire - just the job on a cold April evening! The landlord and locals were very welcoming considering we had not visited before. The pub had two real ales on draught (Lee's brewery) and a well stocked bar. Our meals were tasty, piping hot and good value for money. The bar area has only half a dozen small tables; we ate at a table next to the fire. There is a seperate dining room available if prefered. We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit and will certainly return.

We found Ye olde Bull to be a quaint and frendly country Pub, the welcome was lovely, and as the evening wore on, we found out that it was a family run concern, with Sian and Craig living on the premises. Both lagers were lighter in colour than usual and stank of what can only be described as rotten eggs. They tasted dreadful. The pub itself is ok, but could do with a good clean. Also, the young man that served me did nothing but sniff over and over again which was so off putting, vile and rude.Would not recommend.
