The best restaurants serving Default food in Northern Ireland

Brilliant staff and gorgeous food! would 10/10 recommend! lovely chunky chips and great tasting chicken and curry was absolutely delicious will be back! Salted chilli chicken chip and curry😍 fabulous

I went in here today at lunchtime to order a sausage supper which cost me £4.85. Rather than stay in the shop with my mask on I chose to wait outside, and while standing outside I noticed a board on the wall stating that they were doing a lunchtime special sausage supper with beans etc for I think £3.30. So I went straight back in and asked if I should have ordered this instead and was told by the younger staff member I had ordered with that; "you didn't order that". I said that I didn't know there was a special, but might expect to be advised of this when ordering. Her reply was "there's a sign outside with the specials on it that you could have read". Embarrassed, I went back outside again to wait for my supper. Needless to say I won't be back. This review is not about the difference in cost - more to highlight the service other readers might expect to receive here.

worker was extremely rude and kept rolling her eyes and looked unhappy. food took 30 minutes for a kids small pizza and it wasn’t even the correct base sauce. never again

Pure muck. Steak burger was hunt the onion and red sauce. Cold. Burnt. Grandsons chicken fillet burger was much the same. My burger went straight in the bin. Paid £13.50 for rubbish.

AVOID AVOID AVOID Ordered a kebab. It took over an hour and a half to arrive and it was freezing cold. It was dry with very little sauce and it cost me 15 quid. In what world is that acceptable. Gave it to the dog!

Made a family First visit here yesterday Sunday.We had booked a table for 7 people's and the member of staff seemed to know nothing about it Nothing was set up or ready and when we arrived at 15.00 hrs the restaurant was only 3 tables occupied.Noticed few tables were dirty unclean and some blinds shut tight which made the place very dark with the poor lighting we all kept our costs on as no heating was on!!!! Things that didn't please....cutlery short on table..some drinks served wrong...took One full hour before food arrived and it was all simple dishes my side order was delivered to me while I waited 5mins for the main. Food not great and family all disappointed have had better food in McDonalds and better. Service. Look Antrim needs business and a turnover to keep going but all I can say to the lady who owns this Pull up the service and food before you SHUT UP!!! No wonder you have 3 rating for scores on doors. I'm encouraged how to contact F S A to notify them this should be unrated!!!

A nice well decorated cafe with comfy seating and pleasant staff. Table service which was nice and the food was very good. Large fry was good...altho would like the breads fried on one side not deep fried, but good quality meats. Club sandwich is excellent. Curry also very good. Nice tray bakes / scones and reasonable price for lunch out. Will go back.

Called a number of times to find it consistently of a very good standard.Good specials and fast service but worth a visit for its excellent fried rice,best in Belfast and further afield.!!!

I’m a Costa regular and everytime in the last 2 months I’ve went in to to get a coffee either the coffee machine has been broken or the whipped machine has also been broken I work near the Boucher road store so it’s handy but I definitely won’t be back as it’s ridiculous opening a coffee shop that can’t serve coffee majority of the time and the customer service isn’t the best most off the times either. this is really frustrating as any other Costa I go to is well organised and very friendly

Staff don’t seem to care... legit zero customer service. No greeting, just one word answers and as little eye contact as possible. All in all, about five words spoken to customer- more chat with each other behind their Perspex screen. Lattes were lukewarm at best. Zero social distance in the queue, more craic in a prison canteen. Possibly the worst Costa I’ve been to.

It is astonishing that in a place with signage stating Made in Belfast the array of sandwiches are packaged stating these are from Dublin!! The selections of items are poor and pricey.

Nice independent cafe with a friendly owner. Coffee is good and the food is of good quality. Descent food without trying to be pretentious. Home made cakes are lovely.

The burger and chips were both cooked to perfection. It's a little on the expensive side, but i feel like the price is justifiable for the quality - at the very least as a one off to try it out. One of the reviews claims they only took cash, but for me was able to use contactless card for my visit.

Better before,this time food was cold and tasteless, gravy and curry sauce watery. Definitely not the best Chinese in the town anymore
