The best restaurants serving Default food in Long Compton Stratford-on-Avon West Midlands

We live locally and had meant to book a table when Oxheart first opened. But, for one reason or another hadn’t got round to it till now - what a mistake! Mark’s cooking is utterly sublime, and his set course menu was nothing short of exquisite. That and the discreet one to one explanatory service made our visit truly special. We will definitely be back, and can thoroughly recommend.

My 76th birthday treat and spent in a beautiful location with my beautiful partner. The staff and food could not have been better.

Trudie is so lovely and welcoming and the garden is an oasis of calm. Delicious cakes and treats as well as a lovely craft selection to browse. I would highly recommend a visit when the new season starts next spring

Saw reviews of the Norman Knight and booked a table while in the area for a weekend away First came for a drink and then came back the day after for lunch. On both occasions we were looked after by all the staff. Amazing hospitality. Couldn't do enough for us. Food was superb. I had the fish and chips and my partner the venison pie which was from the specials board. Both gorg. Would highly recommend and will definitely return when back in the area. Thank you.

We were staying in a hotel 10mins away from this beautiful pub. Super duper dog friendly and amazing lovely warm staff! Food absolutely incredible and tasty. Honestly couldn’t fault this pub and would highly recommend if in the area! One of the nicest pubs I’ve been to in a while, they’re doing everything right!

We were very disappointed as after visiting here once or twice a week for the last year brunch/lunch to find that the items we have always enjoyed have in fact all been taken off the menu . Eg : ham and cheese croissant , Italiano pizza , bacon flatbread amongst other . Also table service doesn’t appear to be working very well ? Today the hot toddy was not available due to no honey? Only 4 choices of cake and 3 of them were only like small traybakes . The breakfast menu was very poor . It has been our favourite place to visit but not so sure now ?
