Great place they can’t wait to get rid of you! So it’s Sunday about 1.30pm, the place is almost empty … whilst my wife is eating the staff want to clear the other plates … a smile would help… just bad manners to clear away mid way through a meal … it’s not as though they need the table as nobody was here … what is the rush …. Will not be coming here again… so different from last month tour of the gin and whisky manufacturing … be going to Todenham Farm from now on … Be aware if don’t like your plates being cleared whilst others in your party are still eating ….

Great service and so friendly. Reasonable prices and plenty of seating outside by the edge of the small harbour. Dog friendly too.

Met here as usual on Sunday morning for coffee pastries and bacon flatbreads. Been coming for years every week and were delighted when the terrace was extended into the old car park providing more tables and seating. But, they cannot cope with the volume of orders. They allow large groups of cyclists and motorbikers who order and pay separately creating very long queues and waiting times. The have to get a second coffee machine as one is simply not enough. Perhaps a coffee "horsebox" outside would be a solution for the summer season? We've given up now and will go to either Todenham Manor or Broadway Tower until they sort it. Pity as we used to all love coming here especially in winter.

A wait of over 30 minutes after ordering for three coffees and two pieces of flapjack to be served at 10:30 on a Sunday morning was ridiculous! There seemed to be plenty of staff but with only one coffee machine and with simple orders like ours getting stuck behind those waiting for cooked food etc the delay was very disappointing. The drinks and food were good when they arrived but overall a disappointing first visit.

Having a holiday in the area, was looking for a dog friendly place to have breakfast. Overall the building and surrounding area is beautiful. Not a huge breakfast menu and then was told no dough so basically no choices. We ordered 2 croissants and a bacon sandwich and sat down. 35 minutes later and still no food, as we sat and watched all the other tables who had arrived after us get their food. We politely mentioned this to the waitress who stated that we had to wait for our Croque monsieur to be cooked, (we didn't order a croque monsieur) and stated that. Eventually the food arrived with the croque monsieur we didn't order 🤦🏼♀️ so we stated again we didn't order that and our 2nd croissant arrived. We heard from another member of staff that the ticket machine in the kitchen had stopped working hence the delay, but no one actually told us that until we asked why our food was taking so long, and this didn't really explain why everyone else who arrived after us got their food first. The staff all look like they want to be somewhere else, even when the waitress apologised she had already turned her back and was walking away and then turned back and half heartedly offered us a free cake to take away (not even have there). We decided to forgo the cake and left.

We went to buy some Cotswold Gin glasses for my brother in laws birthday and decided to have some brunch whilst there. My son had the scotch egg and sausage roll, my daughter had the chorizo and egg dish, my wife had the avocado on toast with salmon and I had the bacon flat bread. We all samples each others and all enjoyed each others too. As it turned out, the glasses we were given were the wrong ones so we had to return today to get them replaced so it meant another brunch. My wife and daughter both enjoyed the toasted banana bread and I had another bacon flatbread as I enjoyed yesterday's so much.

We popped into the Stillhouse just in passing. I'm glad we did. The food here was very good. We had one each of the croques. With an elderflower pressè and ice coffee. With a cake each to follow. Everything cooked fresh to order and the cakes must be homemade. The people on the next table had pizza. And sung it's praises. A big thank you to the kitchen and serving staff. Well worth a visit.

4 of us came here for lunch. It is the worst food we have ever eaten. The Victoria cream sponge was stale and the “cream” was only on the outside of the cake not spread through the layers. Coffee was terrible and the ham and cheese bap was not a bap but a stale bread roll with greasy horrible filling. It was inedible. We asked for a cheese toasted sandwich but not an option. Save yourselves and do not visit!

We waited ages for our food. We asked for water and it didn't arrive. The food wasn't hot and seemed to have sat for a while. Pretty underwhelming considering it wasn't busy.
