Visited this village pub, whilst staying in the area. My partner and I ate a 2 course meal, which is home cooked, and it was absolutely lovely.

New to the area and was recommended here.. loved it! We had large mix meat and chips with curry sauce (and a fritter on the side!). Everything was delicious, even though we went 30 mins before closing

its what you expect, sausage rolls and baked goods at a reasonable price point and usually nice and tasty. its not fine dining but its not supposed to be. definitely worth it for a snack

A wonderfully calm, happy, friendly atmosphere, with fab food and delicious drinks! Have visited on numerous occasions and have never once been disappointed.
The biggest problem I have with Talk of the Town is that I struggle to walk past without buying something. The way Ken cooks his bacon and sausage on his griddle makes it the best sandwich in town.
