Went here today for christmas afternoon tea with friends. What a lovely surprise! Beautiful china cups and saucers and the most fantastic festive rolls filled with brie and cranberry, tuna and turkey and stuffing and festive cakes. The mince pies were something else and possibly the nicest tea I have drunk in a long time! The staff are all lovely too and very polite and attentive. Can't fault the place at all and will highly recommend. Bought a hand knitted santa for my tree and a 3 hyacinths in a pretty red pot for my moms grave. Thanks to everyone there. Highly recommended

Just had lunch here with friends and what a lovely tea room! Nice China cups and saucers and proper teapots! Served by some people with learning difficulties. They serve oat cakes with fillings, Welsh rarebit, baked potatoes and quicker with lovely salads. The cakes we were persuaded to have afterwards were amazing and homemade. Would definitely recommend if you are anywhere in this area. Some nice plants for sale too.

This restaurent serves excellent quality food, although supposed to be light bites you certainly have a generous helping of enjoyable flavoursome well presented meals. We don't visit as much as I would like, will endevour to increase the regularity of our visits.

This place is run as a cafe and helps people with their learning as well. Anybody who is passing please go in if they are open around lunch time, you will be served by some lovely people who have difficulties and they want to help, it is a brilliant place and the variety of food they do there is something for everyone. I can say the surrounding are of a farm nature, hence the name and the food is excellent and so is the service.I have been a few times, but the bacon butty is to die for. Some may say it is only a bacon sandwich for me it is done to perfection.

Have passed this place many times but never stopped until now. We had an excellent light lunch from a varied menu at a very reasonable price. As far as I know everything is made on the premises. Pottery, handicrafts and plants are also sold, again made or grown on site. Its a centre for people with learning disabilities so its all for a good cause. Will be going again soon.

We went with six friends for lunch. The food was excellent, fresh and plentiful. They offer sandwiches, quiches, baked potatoes, a local speciality called Staffordshire Oatcakes and huge ploughman’s lunches. All served with loads of salad. We all enjoyed our visit to Oak Tree Farm. There was also a pottery and a handicrafts and plant shop. Check out the lovely red ceramic poppies being made now (July 2018) for a display. They can be sponsored now or bought later.

We visited the Oak Tree Farm rural project for a visit,we have passed by this venue a number of times,we decided to call in and it was a enjoyable visit ,the team members help to prepare the food and wait on the tables, you may have to wait for your food and drinks, but its worth the wait, they have lovely china cups and saucers, and the team members are very pleasant and work as a team. We will go again when the plants are on sale

We decided to call here after a meal at a local pub , their pudding prices being too high. Lovely tea room, with pleasant helpful staff. Generous cake portions. We'll be back!

This is a rural project for young people with learning difficulties. The Tea Room is a gem - wooden construction, with a terrace overlooking beautiful countryside. Light meals - soups, toasties, casseroles, oatcakes etc. are served at lunchtime, plus morning coffee and scrumptious home made cakes and scones, and afternoon teas, served by students and volunteers. It is light and airy, nothing too much trouble, and our dog is welcomed and made a fuss of. Outside are the Pottery, gardens, farm animals, with sales of pottery, plants, home made gifts.

Absolutely loved my evening celebrating my birthday last weekend and the food was lovely I asked the young waitress Amelia for recommendations and she didn’t disappoint helping us choose a meal we both would like. Amelia was a delight and looked after us throughout the evening I will definitely return to try more from the menu and the service was fab 🙂

We love this little independent patisserie, it's tucked away down The Colonnade (opposite the theatre) and has the most scrumptious sausage rolls and fresh cakes- new selection every day. We brought mum today and indulged in Asparagus & Cheese Quiche, Apple & Sage sausage rolls and a gorgeous Raspberry Cheesecake. All with coffees. There's a room with tables/chairs, purchasable artwork and paperback novels - book swap or donations. Love it ❤️ (Worth checking the Facebook page posts for opening hours which can vary) Also an excellent Comic Shop opposire

My favourite place to get cookie pies and milkshakes! Sarah is lovely and always extremely helpful! Upstairs there is a relaxing place to either sit with friends or revise!

Great little pub, Good Band on Saturday night, friendly professional landlord called Steve who keeps a good clean house.. Very Reasonable prices, fast barstaff and a friendly place with a good vibe.. This place is an independent pub saved by Steve from closure. I support the place by visiting regularly even though I don't live locally.. 👍
