Last time we used the Hong Kong house the food was really good, but not good this time. I had a duck with mushrooms and when I opened up to eat struggled to find any duck, the few bits I found were dry and tasteless. The dish was really mushrooms carrots and onions. So we won’t be returning

Came to Upton barn for first time 2 weeks ago and love it that much we have decided to keep our caravan on site! Angie and her family are so welcoming lovely people and the food is lovely too. Joeys bar brilliant place for a get together and dance enjoyed the lightning and music lovely atmosphere The site is lovely and relaxing with friendly people, theres a lovely lake, my husbands even started fishng! I see everything as a plus as other sites iv been on locally dosnt have a pool, bar, restaurant, or a club. Cant understand the previous comments

I have been coming here since its opening in the very early 80s. I moved to London in 1986 and whenever I'm home I have to stop by just for the large pancake roll, which BTW is not nearly as big and at £3.40 is not cheap either. I ordered 2 x pancake roll and 1 x salt & chilli ribs, total £14.30. Went to pay with my card and was informed I have to spend £15. I reluctantly looked at the menu but I did not want to spend another £7 on a dish when I wasn't that hungry. I really wanted to walk out but I needed my pancake roll fix, so I agreed to be charged £15 for my £14.30 order... I was then shocked at how expensive it has become, most dishes are over £7 and on par with what I pay in London. I am super pissed off and having been a loyal customer for over 40 years, I don't think I'll be back.

Our first visit . Staff on entering cafe did not acknowledge us..Sat upstairs and looked at the menu and after a while we realised we probably had to order food downstairs. One drink was given when food was ordered and the second drink we waited half an hour for. After 50 mins the food arrived which was cold with overcooked poached eggs and chewy bagels. Absolutely awful. Staff nonchalant. A waste of time and money. Never again

Wide range for a small store. Elliot and Josh who were on duty were great, friendly and efficient. Baguettes were fresh. Service with a smile!

What an experience that was. Shall never return again just happy to pay extra somewhere else

Since re-opening the new lease of life with in is amazing! Advice would be come see the change!

i don’t even want to give them one star terrible service absolutely terrible was waiting in a queue for around 35-40 minutes and the order window wasn’t working?? well there wasn’t anyone in there anyway so had to order at the pick up window which is why it took forever finally get there and say my order and the guy says okay and takes my payment which was by card to then be told a minute later by a woman they’ve ran out of what i want and then said they couldn’t give a refund and tried to give us random leftovers which we didn’t want absolutely terrible why take my money then tell me that you’ve ran out?!?! also to wait in that queue for 40 minutes!!! absolute JOKE!!! never coming here again

The restaurant was disgusting, food all over the floor, dirty tables, staff not bothered with it. Nobody came out to clear in the time I was there. Asked the staff if someone could clean an area, very rude response.

First off the positives, the locations is good and has a car park very near, the cafe is clean and nice. However, I had a very weird experience. I walked in and waited behind a lady talking to the cashier, this went on for about a minute and the lady had clearly ordered and saw me and stepped to the side by the counter where the food was served. I took a step forward, however the cashier lady still carried on talking to the other customer. I must have waited about 30 more seconds and then asked what batches they do, the cashier made no eye contact and just pointed to the menu, no hello or any chat. I made my order, I was never asked if I wanted any sauce or butter on the batch. When the batch was ready the cashier placed it on the counter and gestated to it with her eyes. I said thank and goodbye, and still no word, in fact she looked the other way. When I opened the batch in my car it just fell apart, and the bacon was gritty. I will not go there again, not because of the quality of the batch but because of what I felt was rude behaviour, I cannot understand the silent treatment when she was chatty with others???

takeaway food ordered . was cold , completely tasteless , was so disappointing, bag was steamed up so food was wet and soggy

Visited Daniels the jewelers to collect a necklace that I had left for repair. All done successfully, staff friendly and helpful. Great selection of rings.

Mixed experience. The lady taking the order, super professional and efficient. The messy woman making my Frappuccino left me with a dripping and sticky drink, spilling on my clothes and car. I wish I hadn’t bothered.
