£30 a night. Charged us same as they would a bank holiday. Would expect fully serviced pitches for that. Instead got low power output so kept cutting out. Fishing pond - didn't use it, but walked past it on way to loo & found it to be dirty with loads of planks of wood floating around it. Swimming pool - again didn't use it, but took a look, strong chlorine smell but that wasn't enough to make the water clear. It was open to public use but it was green water. I wouldn't let my dog swim in it let alone my kid. Toilets & showers - was going to use them but turned 180 degrees & used the shower in my van as the loos were smelly & dirty. Elsan point not the best but had no choice but to use it. Elsan point also right next to the pot washing station, not the best hygienic planning decision - all open to the elements. Old knackered caravans scattered around with grass growing up the side. More like a caravan grave yard than a caravan park. Rude staff. Rubbish area - they have a skip & recycling bins, but they are all open top & so the whole site is rife with wasps. Good points - really nice old chap who cuts the grass & lives on site for 6 months of the year. Other folk on site really nice too. Good dog walking area, although lots of dog poo even though they provided bins.

Campsite overall ok although it is in the middle of nowhere and you have to go down single track roads to get there. Facilities are lacking to say the least. So called 'swimming pool' is located in what looks like a dilapidated greenhouse with glass broken and boarded and taped and the water is green!!! There is no way that it is sanitary, could not even smell any chlorine in the water. Would not use this is you paid me. The washing facilities are located in the open right next to the elsan point. Must be a hygiene ruling about this somewhere?? Did not use the toilets or showers on site but was reliably informed they were disgusting! For a site charging £30 a night I expect much better. There are much better sites to go to and would not ever return to this one.

Came for the weekend. Lot's of friends. Great for camping and fishing. A lovely swimming pool but no life guard so take responsibility of your own. Showers and toilets on site. Great staff, funny and friendly. Been here for food a few times. DELICIOUS.

Restaurant- friendly staff, helpful, good choice of adult & child meals. Good portions. Recommend & will return. Campsite- improvements have been made since our last stay. Pretty fishing lake. Toilets & showers kept clean. There’s a swimming pool. Key entry to help with site security. We liked the floodlight near the toilets, it definitely helped with seeing in the dark! Water did come in under our tent from the rain, not the sites fault. Will be staying again.

We stayed here as a family group and unanimously would not return. This is a site to keep away from. The caravan and camping area is OK and fishing lake is good but rest of facilities are very poor. 2 toilets and showers each for men and women for site. The washing up area was one sink right next to elan disposal out in open. The standard of fittings and buildings were like 1970's DIY. The swimming pool has health and safety issues and overall the facilities on site were not very clean. Again the bar and restaurant were very dated and bar staff not very welcoming.

Angie who appears to run the site is so helpful & friendly!! She reacts instantly to any issues raised & in a friendly manner. There’s a key so only cars which are camping can enter the site. There’s a very pretty fishing lake with many ducks & ducklings in which we’re lovely to see & hear. You are on a farm so do get camping smells & the sounds of various farm animals 😀 The pool itself looks clean. I think the cover could do with removing, its disintegrating onto the floor below it, I think if anyone tried to unroll the cover it would disintegrate completely rather than be of any use. The pool is very well priced at £2.50 per adult & £1.50 per child. Our pitch was a good size, even though we felt on top of the tent next to us (we do have a massive tent). We just put a windbreak up so that our children wouldn’t trip over our neighbours guy lines in the night. The EHU was very good. On some sites I have to unplug the fridge to use the kettle so not to trip the power out, but on this site I didn’t need to do that 😀 There are drinking water taps dotted around the site, just be warned they don’t have drains beneath so the ground gets very squelchy. There are 2 ladies toilets & showers + 2 men’s I believe. They are constantly cleaned throughout the day right into the evening! They’re kept well stocked with toilet paper & hand towels. There’s 1 sink for washing up. It’s not undercover (so we ran to wash up when there were breaks in the rain) & is right next to the elsan point. The site was lovely & quiet during the week, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay during this time & we’re planning many return trips. But then on our last night a fair few more campers arrived & were playing football right next to our tent until late at night, others were playing football right next to our car during the day (we saw a few near misses with our windscreen)- which we couldn’t understand as this site has brilliantly set up a field next to the site specifically for playing games such as football! Unfortunately unlike all other sites I’ve stayed on, there’s no noise curfew here. Eg The people in the tent behind us on our last night were still being noisy & playing music past 2.30am!! But other campers were also being noisy until very late in the night. Unfortunately this last night did put a dampener on wether we’d return or not. The restaurant was reasonably priced & the adults meals cooked from scratch. My vegetable lasagne contained Red Leicester cheese, broccoli , porcini mushrooms... all items you don’t find in a frozen one. Good size portions too, very filling. It’s not the best maintained & is very basic BUT the staff are friendly & helpful & it’s REALLY well priced! So for that you cannot complain. All I’d really like to see is a noise curfew put in place.

Stayed here with 11 family members from Friday-Sunday. Had a fantastic weekend from start to finish. Staff are very welcoming, food is amazing & the site is fantastic for the kids to let off some steam on the playing field then this is the place to go. The lake is well stocked with fish, there's also a swimming to use for a small fee. If your a member of the caravan club & want all the mod cons of haven then this is not the place for you! But this site is a little piece of heaven 30 minutes away from Birmingham. Can't wait to return with more family next time. Thanks to Angie & the team

We as a family have been staying here most weekends for the best part of 12 months. If your looking for a haven site that's full of mod cons and your always giving your children money for arcades etc then this is not for you. If your looking for a traditional friendly site where there is always someone to help nearby then Upton is your place. The food in the restaurant is good quality and staff really lovely. Currently looking out of the rainy caravan window to the ducks just below the window and listening to the birds in the nearby trees. I have never been to the shower block's or toilets and they have been dirty apart from one time when it looked like a child had a struggle with toilet paper... or the Andrex puppy had been in ! You can get this anywhere..it wasn't dirt.. I know plans are in motion to upgrade the swimming facilities , which may not look like a state of the art swimming centre but they are clean and treated and my girls look forward to affordable swimming every week. Definitely worth a visit.

The welcome to the camp site was informative and the lady was friendly despite it being quite late on the friday of a very hot day and she was clearly exhausted! Showed to our pitch which was a great size, level, well kept field. However, the wash facilities weren't great 2 toilets and 2 showers each for men/women, not enough and had to wait on numerous occasions...not good with 5 and 3 year old children. Generally clean-ish, although on one occasion the gents had a lot of excrement all over one cubicle! The building was pretty decrepit and looked like the ceiling was about to cave in on the ladies. Only 1 wash up sink (right next to the ELSAN waste which wasn't pleasant!!) and in the 6 times we washed up, 5 times there was no hot water. The pool was warm and the water looked clean but around the side of the pool was filthy, including the changing cubicles. Such as shame as a real selling point for the campsite. We didn't use the restaurant as we preferred to BBQ, but did get take away from the bar on the 1st night which was a pretty limited choice (burger, hot dog, chips, nuggets, basically anything fried!)...although we later found out that the restaurant also did take away which might have been a better option. Its a shame the facilities let it down as the campsite is in a great location for days out, and the field itself was lovely. Unfortunately, I don't think we will return unless they upgrade the wash rooms and get a bit more on top of the cleaning.

Well end of the season is almost here. But we will be back. Made lots of friends, this is the kind of site that camping all about. If you want glamping then stay away, but if you want good old fashioned friendly atmosphere and willing to join in the fun then everyone is made to feel welcome, not only from the staff but the regular campers. Yes the site has a few things that require attention, but mention any complaints to staff and they do there best to put them right, obviously at times there may be problems but it isn't that the same anywhere, the staff are working hard to make improvements across the site, but as they say Rome wasn't built in a day.

in 40 odd years of caravanning this has to be the very very worst nightmare of all its scruffy dirty and grossly overpriced for what you get once on the park to your right theirs skips on show which smell and attract rats on the floor theres an array of plastic boxes for recycling again on show theres room for 45 tourers but only 2 male showers and 2 female showers both of which need a complete overhaul as they are very very dated and untidy the swimming pool is a laugh its filthy and has dirty windows and floors you wouldn't use this in its present state I wouldn't advise anybody to stay here warwick is a lovely place the only blot on the landscape is this place give it a very wide berth also it has a large fishing pond with no fence around it as this is a so called family site this is an accident waiting to happen

I visit with the family approximately two or three times a year for sunday lunch.Always a welcome smile to greet us, by very friendly staff. For Sunday lunch its always very good quality, and extremely competitive, (under £10 for 3 courses) with an excellent choice of starters, mains and puddings. We can hardly move after lunch here. The only comment I would make that the decor is looking a little tired and in need of upgrading, other than that, I would highly recommend it for service and food quality.

We were looking forward to our visit, ordered 2 pints, coke, and 1/2 pint. Pints were warm and coke drinkable, told that the cooler was not working We then went to order food no fish and lasagna plus were told that we would have to wait 45 minutes, we waited 1 hour 15 minutes. Very short staffed not many tables to be served. Meal was enjoyable and that I am afraid was the only good thing. Would not recommend.
