Cassandras in Nuneaton and Bedworth

Not much around Looks sad and miserable Wouldn't rush back

There's some great people here they got me out of trouble

Shops consisting of florists, fabric shop,post office ect, under a roof with seating just in case its raining. Also have there a key utter and beauty salon. Peacocks also here for clothing.

It's town centre location is ideal to check out one of the good range of shops for all tastes.

Not a lot for me in there any more

Like the rest of Nuneaton it looks tired, sad, neglected and in need of modernisation and a huge amount of investment. Couple of convenient shops such as greeting cards. Worth a quick walk through if you want to look for an independent shop. Otherwise go to Leicester or Tamworth, Bedworth is worse and I've always hated Coventry.

Saturday lunchtime not crowded and found some cheaper products

This place used to have a wide range of shops in the indoor market. Now there are fewer shops, but it is conveniently located close to the bus station so pop in and have a browse.

Hardly any shops in there , only visit for the card shop ( fabulous choice) and Peacocks

There are specialist shops, discount shop, jewellery, coffee shop, clothes shop, and more, plus seating for tired feet. It's city centre location is very convenient.

Lots of bargains to be had in the shops. Well located for the bus station, train station and the town centre.

I go there shopping when I stay in Nuneaton it seems to have most of the shops you need .one particular shop is what I call old school it's the Tool box a they have all most everything thing you need in DIY.

This really could do with a refresh like a large amount of Nuneaton. Worth avoiding. Hopefully the town centre refresh will lift places like this too.

Not a terribly interesting place. A few shops, Peacocks, shoe menders, furniture shop and a few others. Looks a little unloved.

A very good shopping centre but sad to see the Post Office has closed its doors much to the disappointment of many people. Great! The Post Office has re-opened. W0W! We definitely need more shops here. The Post Office has closed again but has been moved to the local library. The Post Office is back here at the previous Newsagents premises.

It's not a shopping centre at all, but just a shortcut from the bus station area to get you into Abbey Street. As like everything else in Nuneaton It's just the pits really, very few shops, all of no significant interest, and as for the ultimate shopping experience far from it, as like the Ropewalk there's nothing of interest in here.

Had a walk around abbygate there are some nice shops

Since last time down there some shops have closed so the atmosphere seems different not as busy as was.

Abbey gate needs more diverse interest. I ŕemember the inside market it was a great place for the community to gather the council should consider opening a similar facility that is affordable for small and entrepreneurial business not the rates they are charging now they are stifling people who want to succeed with a small endeavour

Lovely little old school shopping centre with some decent shops inside always love walking through there and having a look about

Mainly used as a through way from the bus stops, Abbeygate has a few shops in there to boast, and massage chairs which charge a £1 😂 when I was there it was clean and nice to walk through.

I love the shops in here, Shane they're slowly pricing everyone out. First the fabric shop, now the wool shop. It's sad.

Well worth a visit on saturdays when the market is on... the charity shops are very good... One has furniture and white goods, all in great condition. Anyone setting up a home would be surprised at what they find in the charity shops there. Lots of eateries to choose from, the pork batch stand is great value and tasty ... good cuppa too..

Nice little walk under covered shopping centre. Unfortunately some of the shops are now closed. But you can have a look at the shops that are open or have a quiet sit down on the bench seating in the centre of the shopping centre.

Lots of interesting shops to look around

It's ok to go through on a rainy day, not as 'interesting' as the Ropewalk. Even the Ropewalk has become a bit drab! 😜🤔

It’s a shame most of the shops are closed in Nuneaton but this little shopping arcade is still busy and most of the shops are occupied which makes it a pleasant experience.

There’s literally only a couple of shops worth your time in the town now - many small pop ups, which seem to all do the same things. There must be 7/8 phone repair shops that sell gadgets etc (cheap import goods with a markup). Not the place to be any more. Look elsewhere for a shopping trip.

Abbeygate has some great independent businesses in it, Friedas clothing store is very good with pleasant staff and reasonably priced clothes, their Italian range is great, there is also a good shoe shop, a couple of sewing and craft places, and Daniels Jewellers is always worth a visit

Hi visit a long the Abbey Street in Side Abbey shopping centre trying to seeing the manager there is a shop I wish to ask about rang the bell no response the shop was sweet and treat other volunteers organising as used recently by young people art groups I'd like to no more I'm an abstract art use this shop wish to help other artists by showing my work And other artists need some investors if you can help.

Too many people shooting around the pedestrian area on bikes. Doing wheelies too! Saw an old lady nearly get hit. Someone needs to do something about this. I'll shop in Hinckley until this gets sorted out - pity as I like Nuneaton's town centre shops and cafes etc....

Outdated and dingy .. the shops are all a bit old fashiond and the only thing keeping it alive is the cafe and peacocks nuneaton would be better getting rid of it.

Love our town, walking through Abbeygate clean, everything to hand great Post Office.

Love Nuneaton i am born and bread there it has some great shops, safe town to live in and birth place of George Eliot which has an hospital with the same name sake which helped me through a very difficult time. Great place to visit.
