The best restaurants serving Default food in Backbury Herefordshire, County of West Midlands

Just got back from a really lovely Sunday lunch at the New Inn in Fownhope. I had the pork roast dinner and it was spot on – generous portions and full of flavour. The cauliflower cheese was especially good, creamy and cheesy without being too heavy. Plenty of vegetables too! For dessert, I went for a waffle with two scoops of ice cream, which was the perfect way to finish off the meal. The two ladies that own the pub were super attentive and couldn’t do enough for us – really welcoming and friendly, which made the experience even better. The pub itself has a cosy, relaxed feel. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and fancy a proper home cooked Sunday roast!

A great place to eat whether you are passing by or camping at the campsite. Staff are so friendly, food is delicious, pints even better. :) would highly recommend. Dog friendly also.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff. The lunchtime food and cider I found really nice. The owner was a keen football fan so we had some friendly banter; even if he was a AV supporter. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area.

Good food, reasonably quick service and good value

Wonderful Easter Sunday lunch for us and our visiting family. The roast beef was excellent quality and delicious. Others enjoyed the lamb and veggie option. Staff very welcoming and professional. So lovely to see horses stopped for a drink in the car park too!! Highly recommend for a wonderful lunch and experience.

Visited on Easter Sunday for lunch. As we only eat small meals we ordered a starter each and a side of roast potatoes. The waiter was happy to do this as we said we wanted room for a dessert. The food came and was lovely and we both finished and sat chatting with a drink happy to wait for them to clear the plates however it got to 45 mins and then realised that the people behind had come in after us and had starter and were now on main and we were still sat with dirty plates and could not catch the eye of any of the waiters. At this point we decided to leave. The lady which I think was the manageress was lovely and gave us a discount but it has put us off going for a meal again

Stayed overnight, with dinner and breakfast. Staff on duty could not have been more welcoming. Food was outstanding freshly cooked, top quality and presented nicely. Our room was large, clean and fresh.
