The best restaurants serving Default food in Old Town and Lawn Swindon South West

WOW WOW The food was absolutely fantastic, the small serving Tapas style gave us all a chance to share and try the food from the menu. Michael was a great host, and also his staff, they also catered for my Grandson for Dinner, looking forward to his next chapter

Just visited this restaurant for the first time with two friends. The service was fantastic, and the staff made a lovely fuss of my friend as it was her birthday. The food was good and we had a complimentary slice of banana cake which was delicious. We’ll definitely be back :-)

Definitely best pizza had in a while Not usually a fan of pepperoni but found myself unable to stop Ian is also attentive to his customers

Booking was easy and we were greeted in a very welcoming manner. Staff were very attentive throughout and helped guide our menu choice when we asked them. All the food was delicious, very tasty and tailored to our taste. Will definitely visit again.

Writing this for my son who went there for lunch recently. Bought a chicken wrap with added potatoes and a bottle of water. Charged £18. My son being as he is didnt question this and is reluctant to go back to query this. Beware of what you are being charged!

After a long hot day me and my other half decided we’d stop off at rays ice cream on our way home for a treat bear in mind we’ve never been so thought why not heard a lot of people say good things.waited In the queue for 5 minutes just to be turned away .not is this just poor customer service but as a well known ice cream parlour you’ve now lost customers and money

It's a nice place, my food should have come with a salad that was forgotten, however me and my companion did feel rushed out of the place, there was a very distinct moment when we were unwelcome, this could have been completely avoid if the staff had simple informed us they were closing within the hour when we placed our order. I have worked in customer service cafes and restaurants in busy city's, so I know how simple this would have been to do.

Went for a meal tonight and the food was lovely - Gina our primary server was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. However another blonde woman who took our order was very rude and made us feel uncomfortable when we asked questions about the food by laughing. Other than that I would definitely eat here again as service is very speedy and prices are very agreeable.

Really loved this place. Lots of tasty beer to try and great service behind the bar. A gem in Old Town

Beautiful, 'naked' style 50th birthday cake decorated with silk flowers. It was admired by all, tasted lovely and the flowers now make a beautiful centrepiece placed in a complimentary coloured shallow bowl.

Just tried this restaurant for the first time and we will definitely be back. Welcome was very friendly and we were shown to a lovely little side room on the top floor with a table for four and a nice 2 seater sofa in there. Lovely ambiance. There were 3 of us and we had the jerk chicken skewers for starter, followed by the jerk lamb, chicken and steak for mains. All of the food was fantastic, well cooked to our preference and all had great taste of the Caribbean seasoning on the meat and in the gravy. Had a couple of cocktails too which were very nice - mango mojito was excellent. All in all a really nice experience, thankyou.

From the second we arrived the service level was exceptional and we were made to feel extremely welcome . Glass of bubbles on the house for the ladies as it was Mothering Sunday . When they discovered it was my birthday too out came a pudding with a candle and sang happy birthday to me . Was a lot of fun and really yummy food !

Outstanding food. We love carribean food and this was exceptional. We were visiting family in the area and looked for carribean recommendations. So many tasty dishes in the menu, we can't wait til next time

Called the restaurant late notice to grab a family lunch and they were happy to accommodate. I’ve dined here in lots of occasions and for me this is easily the best place to eat in Old Town. The food , the service and the atmosphere are always spot on . I cannot recommend it highly enough .

Fantastic restaurant, we were greeted with a smile , the waitress for very pleasant and helpful, the gluten free options were brilliant, I had cod and chips , it was very tasty. The children loved the indoor play area and the games room with a PlayStation 5, x box , gaming computer and tv for films for was huge suprise. We would definitely re visit this restaurant in the future.
