Monkey Puzzle Restaurant in Swindon

Arrived at the restaurant for the first time, met by very pleasant staff, escorted to a lovely table. Table serviced by a very pleasant polite young lady who instantly picked up on what we required, we picked a good day as it was carvery. Amazing doesn’t even come close, 3 choices of carvery meats, 12 separate veg dishes along with the largest Yorkshire puddings I’ve ever eaten. First class food served with a smile. Perfect. Will definitely be coming back.

We went for a roast,been many times before,but on this occasion it was a buffet style meal,to be honest we didn't think it was as nice,it could've been a lot hotter,and the price had gone up considerably

We’ve had takeaways before and always enjoyed the food so today we decided to give the roast buffet a try .. absolutely delicious .. everything was really good quality and cooked to perfection, great atmosphere and friendly staff .. looking forward to our next visit.

Ordered a take away for delivery and what a treat. Great menu choices and affordable prices. Our choices were delicious and arrived on time, able to order a bottle of wine to go with it which was a bonus. We’ll done we’ll be using you again

Compliments to the chef. I had the homemade spaghetti bolognaise. It was delicious. All was homemade; burgers, mac and cheese Lovely bar and restaurant adhered to the Ilfracombe Holiday Park. Does beautiful breakfasts too.

Credit where its due, the Sunday roast is very tasty, I have been here numerous times. They do unfortunately have issues, but the food and price makes up for it. Well it did until last time, we usually get the pigs in blankets, but they served me bad, old, going off sausages, they had a weird taste and when cut open were grey in the middle. Not good. They also do not cook their cauli cheese long enough and is always hard. One more thing, is there is no atmosphere and watching someone in the open kitchen singing to the radio is not my idea of entertainment. The service however is usually very good. Just hope they are not going to start slacking on the food.

My Son and I spent 5 days on holiday at IHP, we had breakfast in the Monkey Puzzle on our 2nd day which was really nice, we also had Sunday Lunch which we both enjoyed very much. Compliments to the Chef. We are still on site for another 2 days and planning to have breakfast before heading home on Wednesday.

Well what can I say saw the place on face book went for Sunday lunch and it is excellent the food was great as was the presentation one of the best Sunday lunch's we have had and all for the princely sum of £8.99 an absolute bargain

I cannot express enough my disappointment this place, a take away restaurant that has managed to ruin my dining experience entirely. To say that my encounter has been a nightmare. I placed an online order, eagerly anticipating a delicious meal, only to have my hopes shattered as I never received anything . Naturally, I assumed it was a simple mistake, but what followed was an absolute lack of accountability from the restaurant. My first attempt to reach the restaurant was met with an excuse and a promise to refound the money. Until today, no response to my emails, no answer to my phone calls. It seemed as if they had vanished into thin air, taking my money with them. Persistence drove me to continue my attempts at communication, desperately hoping for an explanation or, at the very least, a refund. Weeks passed, and my frustration grew. It became clear that this establishment had no intention of fulfilling its obligations to its customers. I have never encountered such a level of disregard for basic customer service principles. It is utterly unacceptable to take someone's money, fail to deliver the promised product, and then vanish into the shadows without a trace. The lack of professionalism and basic decency displayed by Monkey Puzzle is appalling. Their actions reflect a complete disregard for the value of their customers and the importance of customer satisfaction. Not only have they stolen my hard-earned money, but they have also stolen my time and trust. I implore anyone considering ordering from Monkey Puzzle to think twice. Don't make the same mistake I did. Avoid this establishment at all costs. Not only will you be left hungry and disappointed, but you may also find yourself fighting for a refund that may never come. This place has shown a complete lack of integrity and responsibility. I urge them to rectify this situation promptly, return the money they owe, and provide an explanation for their unacceptable behavior. Until then, I will continue to share my harrowing experience with as many people as possible, in the hopes that others can be spared the frustration and loss that I have endured.

Amazing customer service from the team, Kelly is an asset to this restaurant very welcoming and accommodated for all of us, nothing was ever to much trouble for her she went above and beyond. Food was lovely, would of liked a healthier option to chose from but logan was happy to ammend a dish at our request. Lovely atmosphere and would highly recommend.

We decided to give the Monkey Puzzle a try for sunday roast, family of 6 adults and 3 little eaters plus one baby, we were not disappointed, the food was great and plenty of it, will definitely go again 👍🏻

Although living close by we had never visited this restaurant. My grandson wanted to go there as he had heard good things. It was a quiet night (Tuesday) but it was a nice ambience. The service was top class and the food was superb. We had a lovely visit and look forward to going again soon. We could not recommend the Monkey Puzzle highly enough.

Newly refurbished restaurant only open a few weeks. Had an amazing meal - the standard far exceeded expectations for a restaurant that’s on a holiday park. The decor was smart and the food outstanding. My husband had the steak burger and said it was the best he had ever had, and the kids said their freshly made pizza was also the best they had ever had. It was great watching the chefs at work through the pass and the food was delicious and good value for money. Would recommend.
