Called the restaurant late notice to grab a family lunch and they were happy to accommodate. I’ve dined here in lots of occasions and for me this is easily the best place to eat in Old Town. The food , the service and the atmosphere are always spot on . I cannot recommend it highly enough .

I had a fantastic experience at Tapas El Mundo on Wednesday night while celebrating my friends’ birthdays. The food and drinks were absolutely excellent—everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a special occasion. A special shoutout to James for his outstanding customer service—he was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed for a great night. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious tapas and a great dining experience. I’ll definitely be back!

I had heard some really great reviews about this place so when I needed a roast on a whim, I called up to see if a table was available for Sunday Roast. I called up and spoke to a very charming gentleman who was very amenable and had a table; so got booked in. On arrival we were shown to table and swiftly ordered drinks and roast; the restaurant had just opened and we were first to arrive. The drinks arrived promptly and we ordered two roasts; was very tempted with the extras but decided to wait until the roasts had arrive and portion control before getting too carried away. The food arrived relatively quickly and portion sizes were great; good veg selection; decent amount of gravy on the plate and also a jug (we are all about the gravy!) The food was cooked well, great presentation and overall enjoyed. The restaurant was relatively quiet until nearly the end of our lunch, then it was busy and nearly all tables taken. My only comment from us both is we would have liked both pink (beef and lamb) as both were more well done and there appeared to be no choice unlike other places, but I didn’t think at ordering it wasn’t until it arrived. However we both enjoyed, roasties were good size (not small like often is served up at establishments) and we enjoyed it. Another observation for Sunday lunch is salt and pepper had to be asked for, first waitress didn’t hear me so I got up to ask; I probably would be good to have on table; both of us wanted for roasties only. I appreciate that this is predominantly a tapas restaurant (which I’m longing to now try) where salt and pepper would be less required. I was absolutely full, but when my daughter saw chocolate brownie it had to be ordered! She is an absolute connesieur and gives every one a rating; she gave the best score in the history of 10/10, so really high praise!! Overall a very good meal; service was generally good, maybe a little more detail on interactions and we’d prefer a pink or well done option. However it’s excellent to see all needs catered, small appetites, no meat roast, vegetarian options etc, this was really refreshing! We shall definitely be returning for both roast and tapas! Thanks!

The food options were great and the food was delicious, unfortunately the service was poor, there were lots of servers however they weren’t paying attention to the tables, they were often all at the bar chatting, we had to ask to order drinks every time, had to ask to order food, we asked for dessert menus and waited 15 minutes and had to ask again to order. We were sat opposite the bar where they were talking too! The servers were welcoming and polite, I just feel like they should have been more proactive and spending more time focusing on their customers. It’s understandable when restaurants are super busy and they’re rushing around but I don’t feel like this was the case. This was my first time visiting so may have been a one off.

Wow. Its crazy to think that this place that does not seem so big and does not seem to be a formal resturant or a bar is just good old fashion food in this gem. We chose this place because it seemed to be fun and Elliott greeted us with open arms and a great personality. We were served the menu, explained the choices and off to the races we went. We all shared in everythng and I have never been more full from a place where everything was just so good. When it was all said and done, Elliott was a great bartender and host, the food was the best I have had in Great Britian by far the establishment was quaint and personalble. This was a complete win here!!!!!!

Went to this restaurant on the recommendation of a friend and must say I was not disappointed. It is tastefully decorated and the staff were very friendly with nothing being too much trouble. Although the dishes appeared to be quite small, their recommmendation for 3 items per person was more than enough and of fantastic quality. We enjoyed the experience so much that before leaving, we booked in to try their Sunday lunch which had also been highly recommended. Sunday. Well, what a surprise! Excellent choice of roast meats, vegetables (served in side dishes), roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and gravy! We will definitely be returning here even though we live in Kent! Highly recommended!

Clearly wanted to shut early so left door open on freezing cold day to bring in tables/chairs from outside. Asked them to close it but refused to do so until they’d finished. Won’t be returning.

Dog friendly pub with large car park at rear. The pub has several sections a quiet dinning area, a front reception area with log fire, a sports area with sky tv sports and a pool table and darts board, there’s also a rear uncover outdoor section with tv aswell as a front garden, side garden and rear garden for the pub. Had the harrow burger here and was served very professionally and tasted great. Staff friendly and welcoming highly recommend and will be returning again

We originally planned to go toThe Plough on the Hill, which was just off the M4 as a pitstop. The carpark was full so we looked on Google maps for some where else. Bakers Arms came up so we decided to try it... So pleased the car park was full at the previous pub because the Bakers arm was a little treasure of a find. A warm welcome we received and were able to have a table for food. I had a smaller portion of their famous battered cod and chips, my friends had the sausages in Yorkshire pudding and mash with onion gravy and scampi and chips. We didn't have any room for dessert but the ones we saw come out looked absolutely delicious. We were going to come back on Monday for a pitstop on the way home, but sadly it's closed. Definitely worth a visit on the other days 😄 I have left the exact same review on TripAdvisor
