The best restaurants serving Default food in Whipton & Barton Exeter South West

10/10 food, I have gotten it twice at the cathedral Christmas market and have absolutely loved it both times, it’s one of the places that actually have a dairy free option for everything which is hard to come by! I will likely be back and highly suggest it.. I wish I had a picture to show how big it is. Definitely worth the price

Very nice breakfast rolls. Can’t beat the BLT! Coffee is tasty too! Meal deals look good. Parking is ample outside and around the area

Stayed with a few people over the last few days. Awful. Alarms went off late at night waking us all up. Clearly this was due a man who was smoking drugs in his room on our floor. We could smell it for a while and put in a complaint before this mayhem had occurred, but were told the staff "couldn't do anything unless they catch him in the act". 25 minutes later we are all evacuated out the building as obviously he triggered the smoke alarm. The man was allowed to stay as like I said, he wasn't caught in the act. Absolute joke. Hotel is unsafe for children as it allows drug use in it's walls at the expensive of paying customer valued nights sleep. Couldn't recommend this to anyone. Literally go anywhere else.

Had a lovely Christmas meal with friends. Really delicious food and excellent service

Been going to tommys since i was a school boy. Just good honest fish and chips at a great price. Lovely staff who always remember u and have nice things to say. Good portions and in my view the best chippy chips on exeter

Five of us popped in here for lunch. Four meals were good . The chicken and bacon flatbread we ordered had less than a 1/4 of a chicken breast in it . We complained and the waiter said no that’s what you get and just shrugged his shoulders. So one star and we won’t be returning.

Will not be ordering from here again. The chips were obviously reheated, as they were dry and hard, the “cheese” on them was virtually non existent! A lot more expensive that my regular chippy and definitely not worth the money. My daughter had battered sausage which she said was the only nice part of her meal.
