Can not fault the service I was with a few friends and had a couple of drinks before ordering food Carlo the waiter was funny and polite lovely cocktails ok I spent more than I intended but it was a good evening

Did not book but got a table for cocktails for a limited period. We all ordered a Bloody Mary. The drinks were very good. Would recommend. Liked the ambience and decor. It was a bit cold in temperature in the bar area. Staff friendly and attentive.

Visited Bow Belles for Sunday lunch. The first course was good however the main was very disappointing, as was the service. When the main was served, it was disappointingly small in portion size, just one slice of roast beef and an over cooked Yorkshire pudding. We then waited ten minutes for the vegetable sides to arrive, during which time the food already on the table had became cold. For six people, just one small dish of cold kale and one containing 8 stems of broccoli were served. Clearly not enough, so I requested more which took another 10 minutes to arrive (after being told there were no more vegetables). When the bill arrived, I voiced my complaint only to be told that it would be fed back to the kitchen. I asked if there was a service charge and the waitress told me I could add it using the payment machine. What should have happened is an offer of a discount. Will not be returning.

On a cold Saturday morning, struggled to park at 11am, but well worth it. Smashed avocado and poached eggs on toast as good as it gets, but everyone enjoyed their food and drinks (I had tea). Bit noisy near the front near the coffee machine and busy but not rammed.

Came to Bow belles for lunch today and it was fantastic, it’s got a lovely atmosphere and the staff are brilliant. I highly recommend the minute steak and prawns! Discovered they offer private parties so will be booking in for a big birthday coming up. Thank you Bow Belles and the Team. Will be telling everyone about you!

I have visited Bow Belles on various occasions with friends and family and it exceeds my expectations every time. The food is always fantastic, and I love that it is seasonal and freshly cooked. A friend i come with has a few awkward dietary requirements and the chefs have always accommodated that!! The staff are so attentive and the interior is just beautiful, you rarely find somewhere like this. (Also with bits for sale!!) They have a beautiful private courtyard at the back, and while visiting for brunch yesterday saw they had a wonderful Christmas set up. Complete with heaters, undercover area, and blankets. Couldn’t recommend Bow Belles enough, they go above and beyond and it’s a very special place. See you on Saturday for dinner and a cocktail or 4!

We had a fabulous lunch today. Great food, amazing coffee and cake, wonderful atmostphere and super friendly, attentive staff. One of party is gluten free and they were super accommodating. We enjoyed it so much we've booked again! Would highly recommend.

We booked a table for 4, all 4 of us travelling considerable distances to meet here. Such a warm friendly welcome from the team, quickly seated and drinks arrived promptly. The lunch menu was inviting, we had starters and mains, all well presented, served in good time and were delicious. Dessert, coffees and more drinks all provided in good time. Staff very friendly and we were not hurried along even though we did stay a long time! Definitely recommend this lovely cafe and will be back soon. Thank you.

We hoped for a lovely meal but were very disappointed. The main dining room was buzzing on arrival, but we were put on our own in the back room by the kitchen. I ordered a Gin cocktail which I don't believe had any alcohol in it at all, despite them assuring us it did. Our starters were very poor, the crayfish was chewy and flavourless and the tempora prawns were not the standard I'd expect from a restaurant like this. That on top of the other issues meant that we left the restaurant before eating our starters. We offered to pay for the cocktails and the bottle of wine we had ordered (which we took with us) but they also made us pay for the starters which we didn't eat. There was not much of an effort from staff to make things better for us or to apologise. Overall a hugely disappointing experience.

Lovely sunday roast! Really tasty beef and desserts. Nice decoration throughout and excellent service. Would highly recommend

Dropped in for afternoon tea, sat in pleasant garden and asked for food menu but told no menu and only food was scone or toasted tea cake, ordered a tea, a coffee, one scone and one tea cake. After 15min we enquired of our drinks as others after us had been served and again after 25min! Then told no scones, eventually after 30 min we got 2 half toasted tea cakes with one tiny pat of butter each, no tea spoon or offer of sugar for the drinks. The final insult was that there had been other choice of cakes which we were not offered… and charged £14.80 for 1 tea, 1 latte and 2 tea cakes. In future we will make sure we are not too late for the tea room next door in the old church where we had intended to go!

Good food. Reasonably priced with attentive service. Stylish surroundings and garden that is very beautiful.

Travelled over an hour to meet friends in Marlborough today. Walked up the High Street and found Bow Belles. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming. We sat in the lovely garden at the back. Service was pro active, fast and excellent. Brunch food was very good, coffees and teas prompt and hot. I would strongly recommend this place and we will be back soon. Thanks to all the staff, what a great team!

My friend and I went to Bow Belles for dinner on Saturday evening. We both had the lamb chops with sauce, one medium and the other medium rare. They were both beautifully cooked and served on a bed of broad beans, with griddled corguette. Friendly, but unobtrusive, and efficient service. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family, and look forward to returning.

We ordered cake and tea and were charged £4.50 for a very small piece of cake. Very stingy with their slice (almost half of what you get anywhere else). Service was polite but very slow
