Just purchased a large amount of food for the family and that is the worse chips I’ve ever tasted, they where so hard you couldn’t chew them so the lot went in the bin , never again will we use this chip shop so be warned

If I could 0 stars I would, the chips were ok, however the fish was quite possibly the worst I've ever been served. Soggy batter, the fish had the consistency as if it was soaked in water. Not very nice at all.

Spent ages trying to find a good fish & chip place when we moved to the area, this one is exceptional! Consistently good, lovely crisp batter, no greasy chips, generous portions and great value too!!

I went there yesterday on a whim, struggling to decide what to eat and what a little gem I have found!!! It was so nice, I went there again today and it was even better than yesterday! Very reasonably price and delicious.

ugh I tried the fish and chips and it was awful. the food was greasy and the place is very chavvy, trust me I'm from Birmingham so I know chavs when I see them. Idk how this place has good ratings but I wouldn't go here if I were you also the place looks kinda dirty, the staff had hair out without net or caps etc, I didn't see a hygiene rating on the window but Its probably low.

Amazing Chinese from here last evening. We have often had fish and chips from here, but not Chinese, so this was our first experience, and we were not disappointed!! It was the best! The staff in the shop are so lovely and polite as well. Top customer service.. Would highly recommend 😊

I'd recommend the food to anyone, fish and chips and Chinese takeaway it's all good quality and good prices too, unlike many a takeaways in Exeter, they have been supplying the locals with good food for years. Just had my first Chicken Curry this side of Lockdown, full of flavour and a nice bit of spice.

I think this us the worst fish I have ever had, it's like its factory made frozen,defrosted and then cooked,very very mushy,.. probably more meat content in two fish fingers,.. it is very small, thank god though as its after taste of oil is disgusting, please don't waste your time or money on this rubbish, how they can call it a fish bar is beyond me..

Vivimos bastante cerca de Tommy's Fish Bar, en general es muy bueno por el precio que pagas. Las patatas fritas son sabrosas y no demasiado grasosas, los peces pueden ser impredecibles, pero por lo general está bien. Teniendo en cuenta que es aproximadamente 5 para pescado y papas fritas, tiene una buena relación calidad-precio.La comida china es sabrosa, buen tamaño de las porciones y de nuevo una buena relación calidad-precio.La tienda podría arreglarse con un poco de renovación interna, pero eso no es realmente un problema. Si estás en esta parte de Exeter, te recomiendo aquí para una buena comida de buena relación calidad-precio.

Every staff there are always polite and respectful

We're lucky to have a chippy reasonably close by. All the usual suspects plus Chinese dishes too. Haven't tried the Oriental food but the fish, chips,etc are fine, great for when you really can't face slaving over a hot stove occasionally. P.S. be aware they do close quite early.

Seems popular with the locals, not my favourite way of cooked chips but that is only preference. Chinese side of the business is very good.

Great quality chips and the special curry's are awesome, I would recommend this chippy to anyone.

If I could give a zero star I honestly would, gave a member of staff a £20 note and they said they would tape it up as it had a rip in it and pocketed the £20 saying the gave it back when there was no ripped or tapped £20 in my wallet. Then I had to pay again for my chips I WILL NEVER GET FOOD FROM HERE AGAIN
