Best pasties I've ever tasted ,but always sold out by 12.00 - 1.00 every time, just been in again 12.30 sold out , why can't they cook some more for the who's dinner starts at 1.0 ?

First visit today after many years of passing-I only ever passed late afternoon.so passing at 730am great chance to see what it’s like…well worth the visit-excellent strong black coffee and a brown baguette with bacon,mushrooms and hash browns in,all this for £6. Very nice and will return again and again

Amazing lush baguette, never had one like it before!!!! Everything was fresh and the baguette was full of food. Thank you! Looking forward to out next visit.

Called in to get are normal foot rolls for the lads and told there not doing them anymore, this could cost them in the long term, landed up at subway so please get them back in

I have worked with Refuel for the past few weeks for several events at work. Everything has been amazing from communication up to the catering choices to provide and the taste of the food. Our guests at work all praised the taste and friendliness of staff.

It's so heartening to see when a new business, particularly cafes etc.get it right. I remember when this place opened and it took a while to get going, but now boy is it flying. Consistently great staff, including the owners who you see around quite a lot, good range of products, yummy sandwiches a d good coffee, all at a fair price. This place is responsible for one too many sausage sandwiches for me and the family. Particularly handy with parking outside which is helpful anyway but especially when you have a small sleeping baby and are dying for some brekkie and a coffee. Best of luck to them, long may it continue.

Refuel have just provided the outside catering for our graduation celebration. The professionalism and quality of food and service were of the highest standard. I cannot thank Sam and his team enough for providing such excellent service and for always being so helpful.

We've started going to Refuel maybe twice a week if we're going that way and always found it very friendly, good choice of fillings but there breakfast rolls are lush ... If you got the appetite try the fully loaded or as we like to call it "the gutbuster" .. it's basically a full English in a French stick ..!!!! Way to much for me ..but it's all fresh and who doesn't love a hash brown in there bap ...lol ! So to sum it up good grub, great coffee, cracking servers, indoor/outdoor seating and a bit of parking.... Go try it peeps 😋😋

I get my coffee from here most days I’m never disappointed I’m always served with a smile and there’s always a queue of guys popping in getting coffee and bacon sandwiches in the morning Thumbs up all round 👍🏻

Seen this place several times and decided to stop for some lunch. Didn’t hold much hope but WOW there is food is AMAZING staff are very friendly and well worth the money will definitely be back :)

I work in the city centre and our office will quite often have breakfast Friday mornings. We have been trying a few different places and refuel was our trial last Friday. By far the best we have had. The quality of the ingredients was excellent with very fresh bread. I phoned in the order and collected. Upon collection order ready on time and all individually wrapped and labelled - working in an office a breakfast run is never straight forward but I couldn’t fault them and service with a smile, rare these days.

I chanced upon this sandwich bar recently and had a fantastic meal. The half breakfast was enormous enough for me with excellent quality produce used to make the meal. The staff were really helpful and friendly and I would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone.

Stumbled upon this little gem of a cafe whilst exploring the area in the middle of the heatwave. Had the most carefully prepared and loveliest mug of tea, ever! Ditto the freshly prepared baguette. Nice selection of fillings. Note: no loos, but a friendly approach to the pub nearby + small donation to pub's charity box got me a pass!

Great menu choice, food fresh, very reasonable priced & friendly service. I had the Piri Piri chicken salad and it was delicious. Would recommend!

Friendly little place on the Pinhoe Road. Great value full English breakfast in a baguette as well as a wide range of cold fillings.

Esta es la mejor tienda en Exeter. pasty Tienes que probar. También el queso pasty mmm. También hacer baguettes preciosas with una gran variedad de rellenos. Yo vivo por la carretera y a menudo comprar ellos para mis clientes de pelo que sólo les encantan. El personal es agradable al 100% y siempre muy limpio. Estupendo ver el propietario trabaja duro casi todos los días. Nada es demasiado problema para ellos.

This place is a good for food on the go. Excellent coffee, great choice of food and fillings for the rolls, bacon rolls pasties available. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, parking available outside.

Se detuvo a un café y pastelería en este extraño lugar, sirve café poco por una amable mujer y un hombre con un poco de actitud, el lugar estaba limpio y el café es aceptable pero en el lado guay, y sirven en jarras! Los pasteles en el gabinete calientes también parecía y estaba un poco más hecho, no un lugar, principalmente para gente!

Precioso hotel, dueño muy amable. Menú limitado pero muy fresco y este aspecto me parecía bastante un nuevo negocio donde la gente está tratando de hacer una buena impresión. Excelente para aperitivos, café, sándwiches, etc. Lástima que poco más opciones en el departamento tarta pero estoy seguro que llegará con el tiempo.

I've called into Refuel a few times for a coffee and a hot or cold snack. Everyone is friendly, the shop is clean, and there is some limited seating.

Saw the sign and stopped for some coffees. When we saw what the person in front had we ended up getting food. They do proper ground coffee, and all the baguettes etc are made to order right in front of you behind a class counter. Food great, staff really friendly

Almost every day I go in to refuel to get a dose of what the doctor ordered ! Perfect every time I go in and the staff are so friendly in there if anyone ever gets a chance to get a butty in there then please do. There's a selection of what you can have at very low prices which is the best part not only that they do a loyalty card too which when you get too 10 baps or 10 coffees you'll get one free :) superb can't fault nothing :)

Popped in several times in passing for bacon roll and coffee. Always delicious. Must call in for a sit down 'meal' soon. Staff are very friendly.

Have lived around the corner for all my life and only went in today. Safe to say i was so hungover and no ham salad bergette has ever hit the stop. Friendly staff and the young blond women that made my food was a delight! Will be seeing more of me for sure and will highly recommend this place. As a chef myself i am one the fussiest eaters but couldnt think of a single thing wrong! Well done guys, im sure with more advertiment people from all over exeter will come for a bite to eat.

Pasties are gorgeous. You must try one !!!! Since this place opened we have used it a lot. As it's very near to where we live. There's no better pasty to be found in the south west. Fact Filled rolls are great also. Nice stop off for a coffee and bite to eat. Clean and friendly staff, and this place is a credit to the manager well done.

Have passed refuel every morning since it's opened and this morning finally stopped in for breakfast for the work lot. 4 sausage and bacon subs. Cheap and easy, good service and the subs hit the spot perfectly. Will definitely be going back.

I stopped here with my parents for a quick snack and we were really pleased. Its really clean and the food is tasty. My mum was really impressed with the quality of the sausage rolls which we were told have won awards.

I visited Refuel this morning while waiting to collect some glass nearby, I walked down the road, dropped in at a textile shop where they were having coffee and spotted Refuel just across the road. Very friendly people, scrupulously fresh and clean space;table and newspapers in pleasant room. The coffee really was good so en route to the shops at Sowton I will definitely go back with my loyalty card. Someone dropped in for a sausage sandwich which looked good and was made using local farm sausages. A regular customer who didn't even have to give his order. A FIND.

Stopped here for a coffe and bite 1/2 way round an exhausting cycle ride. Very friendly, not expensive, and good food. Recommend!

A great friendly Sandwich shop.Conveniently located with parking.All the food is freshly prepared in front of you.Being somewaht of a regular, I have been lucky enough to have been able to work my way through the menu.I can strongly recommend the Brie and Cranberry Roll although spicing it up with the chilli Jam is also recommended.The service is also second to none, always greeted with a smile and always remembers your name.I would urge you try this great little place over subway and the likes as this small family business really does go that little bit further and delivers a service that is superb.

I've been driving past this new lunch place for weeks but stopped for the first time today and will definitely go back. The place is clean, the owner friendly and the food good and reasonably priced. I enjoyed my lunch and would recommend as a much nicer alternative to Subway. Especially as they do jacket potatoes too.

This new coffee and sandwich bar sells freshly made baguettes and sandwiches to order, has a selection of hot savoury pastry goods, the fully loaded baguette is a favourite selection. The coffee is good quality. The premises are very clean and the staff friendly, courteous and nothing is too much trouble
