Lovely clean and tidy room. Food wasn't too bad. However the service was slow and it wasn't really busy.

Premier Inn Exeter M5 came to the rescue when we were locked out of our house last night after a long drive. The lady on reception when we turned up at 10.45pm with no reservation couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. So we had a good night's sleep in a comfortable room as you'd expect from the Premier Inn. Location is very good just off J29 of the M5. Parking was slightly tricky as the car park was so full and note that it's an additional charge.

Great place and pretty cheap too. Breakfast was delicious too. If you want to avoid paying for parking on the other side of Honiton Road near park and ride on Britten Rd you can park for free all day and there are plenty of spaces. I shouldn't post all this things as next time I won't have anywhere to park xD

Friendly staff , location off motorway, large restaurant next door for breakfast again friendly gentlemen staff first thing. Car park is large but gets busy. This is a pay and display car park. You can pay at exit reception will issue you a discounted bar code we to scan at the car park machine when paying. For a cheaper rate. Don’t forget as this is a privately owned Horizon car park. I contacted Horizon after a slight issue with payment and all resolved. Always check signage.

I regularly use this hotel due to its geographical location next to junction 29 of the M5 motorway. The rooms are standard Premier Inn , clean, comfortable, en suite bathroom, TV and tea making facilities. The pub next door is a Brewers fayre so honest pub grub on offer.

The Internet service is absolutely shocking. They provide a very basic Internet service for you to upgrade and pay extra for it. In this day and age, that is such an old business tactic

Title: Unprofessional Behavior and Unfair Treatment Despite being a paying business card customer, I was treated with complete disrespect and unprofessional behavior. It felt like they wanted to play games with us, and they were rude throughout the entire interaction. At one point, I even lost my card, and thankfully, I didn't lose my passport or company devices—otherwise, how would that have been compensated? The behavior of a certain arrogant and rude woman, who entered rooms at will and accused people without cause, was absolutely unacceptable. People here act as if they are well-educated and cultured, but when the truth comes out, unfortunately, I am not the one who ends up upset, and I am the one who is proven right. The entire experience was truly disappointing, and I will never forget how I was treated. Additionally, there was an overly knowledgeable cashier who insisted on asking everyone about their nationality, claiming it was mandatory. If you want, I can directly provide you with my ID and Film Design degree to stop trying to teach me how to do my job.

The best premier I've stayed in, in the uk very polite staff more than helpful smiles all round had slight smell in room which was due to having new carpet installed. They was happy to move me to another room but I wasn't able to move myself, due to me needing to be in the room next door to the room next to me. They sorted the smell as best they could and I then had the problem of my phone charger breaking they kindly lent me a charger for the duration of my stay couldn't say a bad word about this place

Not one of the best Premier Inns we've stayed at. Extremely dated and run down. Needs a refurb. Rooms are grubby and not the cleanest. Not even a net curtain for a bit of privacy. Electrical tape on the shower to stop a leak. Mould on bathroom ceiling and walls. Hotel hall way stank of mould/damp. Air conditioning in room was barely working. Just blowing out damp air. Big carpark which is discounted to £7 per 24 hours for hotel guests. Staff are ok here. They seemed friendly and helpful enough. Great location off the M5 and good access to Exeter and Exmouth. Brilliant bus service right outside into Exeter and the Airport. Would stay here again but it would be a plus room .

It's a Premier Inn, you know basically what you are going to get. This one is about 2 refurb iterations old, so no smart TV (indeed the TV is mounted about 4' off centre of the bed which is odd). This one seems to have a strange obsession with tucking the duvet in under the mattress in weird hospital type corners. So of course you pull it out as you don't want to be pinned down in bed, and all the sheets come out too. The breakfast is in the next door, but separate Brewers Fayre. No covered walkway, so remember your umbrella if it is raining (or go somewhere nicer).

Good location for touring Devon, Somerset and Cornwall. But the service is a complete disaster! This hotel doesn't seem to want guests staying longer than a day or two. On the first three days the access cards had to be reactivated every day because we regularly couldn't get into the room in the evening. For the past four days we have been asking every morning for the room to be cleaned and/or at least the towels to be changed and the rubbish to be taken away. However, nothing happens - the rubbish is still there day after day, only one of two towels has been replaced and the second one has simply been removed without replacement. Shameful service for Premier Inn! Not recommended!

Just off the motorway, ample car parking, reception and check in was very efficient and friendly, car parking was tagged onto my bill which made life easy and the receptionist took my reg number, all very simple. Room clean and tidy. I would say though that as this hotel is near to the airport there was a lot of movement in rooms and corridors through the night with people leaving for their holidays.

We stayed at the Premier Inn on Fitzroy Rd,M5 J29 on 24/5/24. The room was very warm and no windows could be opened. There was a huge amount of noise from other guests in rooms above us .You expect some noise, but not so it keeps you awake until 1am in the morning! The breakfast had a good selection but this was ruined bybtge fact it was luke warm at best to eat. The staff on reception were very good and helpful. Please also be aware there is a £4 parking fee to add onto your bill too. All other Premier Inns we have stayed at have been much better and with free parking.Sadly we won't be staying here again.

Quite poor for Premier Inn. Bathroom not that clean. And dirty cloth left on the desk. But worst was the noise from other rooms, particularly above. Every footstep felt like it was going to come through the ceiling. We know the exact toilet habits of the guests above. Not exactly the good night sleep Premier Inn says it is. You have to pay (£4 per noght) for parking which does not seem right when located outside of the city. On the plus side, it is very convenient for the motorway.

This is a good place to stop when in Exeter. A short drive to the centre, yet plenty of parking. The rooms are standardised as one would expect - large enough and well appointed. The reception is efficient, partly because there are check-in computers available. The staff here is motivated and good.

This is the third time staying at this Premier Inn and, sadly, we found the standard to be slipping. We could not fault the reception staff, although some were friendlier than others. The cleaning staff need a shake-up, the dust that was visible on the tea tray when the sun shone on it was very off-putting to say the least. Bathroom bin was not emptied during our three night stay, items in bathroom were not replaced once used and the allowance of one teabag each per day is ridiculous, good job the reception staff are happy to give extra if asked. No hairdryer in room as they are "being replaced" according to the notice in rooms, surely they could be removed and replaced at the same time, not good enough when you expect there to be one in the room. Admittedly the notice said staff should be able to provide one if requested to...I wonder what the outcome would have been had every room requested one though! I must also comment, yet again, on the level of sound allowed from the TV, I appreciate why the level is set as it is but I am not hard of hearing and had to strain to hear some of the programmes, my husband who is hard of hearing and wears a hearing aid found it almost impossible to hear some things. Come on Premier Inn have a thought for your clientele, we are paying a high price for staying at your Inns, but, if this and the service continues to deteriorate we will be looking elsewhere. Remember there is a Holiday Inn that is equally convenient to the M5 etc just down the road.

Very clean and good sized bedroom and bathroom; very comfortable bed and very quiet (helped by the receptionist putting families with children in one area). Also very convenient for motorists and for local buses. Confusing layout for lifts not helped by inaccurate signage.Located in a nondescript but safe trading estate with a Brewers Fayre and Subway as neighbours - what joy. There appeared to be only one staff (receptionist) on duty at night; she could be a bit vulnerable as could guests when, for whatever reason, she is not at her desk since anyone can then follow behind bona fide guests through the one security access door.

Visited with friends this week. There were six of us. Was amazed at the value for money. Two main meals for £10.99 and 2 sweets for £2.50. I suspected that portions might be small because of price, but was well pleased with the food provided. On this cheaper menu there was a choice (from memory) of about ten items for the main course, which is quite generous. The dessert menu comprised only three items but these were ice cream, chocolate fudge cake and a type of apple tart. We chose the ice cream and the quality was good and creamy. You are shown to your table, select what you want and then have to order at the bar. It WAS busy and we had to wait a while, but the staff were obliging and helpful. I am disabled and there is a special toilet on the ground floor. Unfortunately I saw able bodied people use this rather than climb the stairs. It might be a good idea to fit this with a radar key.We all enjoyed our meal and will definitely be returning before long.

We’ve been to Denleys multiple times before and have also enjoyed a few takeaways over the years—it's consistently been a favourite for its brilliant staff and high-quality food. On this most recent visit, the food once again lived up to expectations—flavourful, well-presented, and clearly made with care. The team at Denleys are always friendly and attentive, checking in to make sure everything is to your satisfaction. That said, this visit wasn’t without its hiccups. We were seated near the kitchen door, which comes with a lot of foot traffic and made the experience a bit hectic. We also found a hair in the mint sauce with our starter—but to their credit, the staff were quick to apologise and replaced it promptly without fuss. While the atmosphere was lively, it was also quite loud and busy, which makes it less suited to a quiet or romantic evening out. Next time, we’ll probably opt for a takeaway, where we can still enjoy their excellent food from the comfort of home. All in all, great service and food, just a little too bustling for a relaxed dine-in experience on this occasion.
