Everyone is so lovely and kind. We got seated by a wonderful waitress called Nik who gave us a lovely experience.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Exeter! The grilled chicken caesar salad is to die for, especially when paired with sweet potato fries or mac and cheese. My partner loves the ultimate brunch burger. Staff is always fantastic, drinks are great too!

As a chef, I truly value great food and service — and both were delivered in abundance. We were warmly welcomed and served by Jules, who was outstanding. She was professional, well-mannered, vibrant, and incredibly attentive. Her genuine warmth and positive energy elevated the entire dining experience and made our visit truly memorable. The food was fantastic — full of flavour, clearly prepared with care. A standout was the hot sauce served with our meal; my wife loved it so much that she asked if we could buy a bottle. The manager generously gifted us one, a gesture we deeply appreciated. I personally thanked the manager and highlighted Jules incredible service. She left a lasting impression and is a real asset to the team. Thank you to everyone at Bill’s Exeter, especially Jules. We’ll definitely be back — and spreading the word! Warm regards,

This is a lovely restaurant right in the centre of Exeter, we came for breakfast and didn’t have to book a table as there was plenty of seating inside. Service was very friendly and the food came quickly. The pancakes were absolutely delicious, we also ordered a smoothie which tasted nice but was more of a juice. Other than this, it was a lovely experience and would definitely recommend when in Exeter.

Avoid terrible place. Booked a table turned up and it wasn't ready. Waited over an hour for our food, then we made them aware that we didn't have anything. Had two young children with us and had to extend our car park twice due to the long wait. Waitress offered terrible service. Not asked if we wanted another drink. No one explained what was happening. Finally got our food, not offered any sauces or if we would like more drinks. Children's chicken burgers were horrible, wet chicken. Adults beef burger under cooked. Ordered take away dessert for our children through their set menu. Asked if we wanted a free desert which we turned down as just wanted to leave. Finally given the bill I explained to the waitress that I wasn't happy, we was on holiday and this evening was terrible. She said we offered free dessert what more do you want. Avoid at all costs. Dirty toilets too. Just to add the email address you reply with does not work and every time you leave your email address you are writing it differently.

Door tasted nice, but was disappointed with the choice of food and no sides with the burgers except for a few fries

Out for a family dinner celebrating my husband's birthday, our waitress was Mauka who was lovely, friendly and attentive ☺️ we all really enjoyed ourselves and have always had nice experiences when eating here 🍴

We had a lovely waitress called Liv! She was very helpful and gave us recommendations of good food and drinks to have. As she was a university student she also helped give us recommendations of places to go after this and she was more than helpful!

Mediocre food, awful service. Let down by its staff. Typical chain, average food. Awful service, in the end it dents their profits. But hey, let's ignore our diners and keep filling those Deliveroo bags.

I had an amazing time here! The service was top-notch, thanks to our brilliant waitress who made everything a breeze. The food and drinks were spot on, and the whole place was super clean with a lovely atmosphere. Given how everything is nowadays, it's nice to find a spot that really delivers, plus the value is unbeatable. I'll definitely be back for more!

We had some starters which where all fantastic.

Food was really nice at the start but the service let it down. We had our first lot of bottomless pancakes and they came really quick then we had to wait 30 minutes for the second lot which when they came were stale. It wasn't as though they were busy either as they were talking to eachother doing not alot 40% of the time.

Excellent place for dinner. Duck curry is particularly amazing. Can be noisy if busy but all up a great place

A very warm welcome from Nik. Was a great start to our birthday breakfast experience. We had not booked but we're shown a choice of seats to choose from the staff all wished my partner happy birthday and he was given a drink on the house. The food came out quickly and hot and was delicious. The whole experience was made all the better due to Nik's friendly professionalism. We will return.

The food was delicious, though a little more in the way of vegetables would have been nice. Overall, though, the taste was definitely satisfying. A big thank you to Shaz for the exceptional and wonderfully attentive service! It did get a bit chilly later on – some heating would have been appreciated.

We have went a couple of times and love their pancakes and unfortunately this time they were way below their usual, so we sent them back and asked something else. The food overall was a bit below what we expected but the service and atmosphere is always nice.

Shaz and Sara were lovely servers, knew when to come and speak and were brilliant in all aspects, the host kledina was lovely and let us choose our table

Lovely brunch, first time in this Bill's. Liv was great.

Compared to previous visits, it's definitely nowhere near as good as it used to be. Whereas on previous visits the food has been excellent, there is now too far too much emphasis on spice and not enough on flavour or quality. The meat is bland, dry, and oversalted. The salad doesn't even contain tomatoes or peppers, but does include stupidly enormous pieces of radish, and the leaf-to-dressing ratio is very miserly. It's not a complete write-off, as the halloumi and the hummus are still very good, and the chocolate tart was excellent (though could do with being accompanied by a far better quality of coconut ice cream), but everything else we had on this visit was very disappointing. The service is friendly, but we were lied to about the seating, told that upstairs isn't used, despite there being lots of diners up there. The decor is nice, but the atmosphere is unpleasantly rowdy, and the table we were seated at was too low for the chairs. Despite the clear decline in quality, the prices remain significantly above where they ought to be. Additionally, this is yet another restaurant that employs the scumbag tactic of automatically applying a 12.5% service charge on top of the bill, so I'm docking an extra star from service for that.

I visited with my partner for our 1 year anniversary and we were served quickly and efficiently by Honey! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a cost effective meal with wonderful drinks.

Always friendly and welcoming, especially to the dog who gets treated as royalty. Shaz was helpful and knowledgeable about our order and very accommodating Fantastic menu with amazing choices and always willing to swap items over.

I just had another fantastic meal at Bill's, and it’s quickly becoming my go-to spot! The staff are super friendly, and they really went the extra mile by recognising our special requests upon arrival. My friend with coeliac disease was thrilled with the gluten-free options, and the birthday Prosecco was such a lovely touch. Everything from the food to the atmosphere was spot on, making it a perfect outing. Can't wait for my next visit!

Great late afternoon dinner at Bills. Shaz was the perfect host, so welcoming with our 2 and 3 year old. The adults and children’s menu were both exactly what you would need. Will certainly be going again and will be mentioning to friends

Had such a lovely lunch at Bill's today and we were served by Nik. She was so lovely and the service was truly excellent. I had the Buttermilk Ranch Burger tray and it was delicious. Nik was super friendly and efficient and we really appreciated her!

When my brother booked Bill's i thought oh another one of those chains but I was pleasantly surprised. We were greeted buy friendly, helpful staff, the service was great. The food was lovely, I opted for the safe bet & ordered the burger, not only did they ask how we would like it cooked, it was one of the best burger's I have had. The price was very reasonable & I would definitely return. Highly recommend 👌 👍

We attended Bills last night for an anniversary meal. Our starter was fine or dessert was fine. I may be okay which we had T-bone steaks unfortunately it was really difficult to cut as. The knives were blunt we requested two more knives but unfortunately they were blunt which was a shame apart from that it was lovely

We visit Bill's Exeter regularly and are never disppointed. Nik has served us frequently and she is lovely and bubbly, kmowledgeable about the dishes and always quick to respond and serve us. I would highly recommend this fun reataurant.

I have coeliac and I felt super safe ordering with them and the food was so delicious as always! Highly recommend. I had the beef burger which was huge and so yummy. Also the kids pancakes were incredible!

Nice breakfast, a touch pricey for what it is but saying that, I would go back again. I'm not a fan of paying via the QR code on the table.
