Food is very nice. I recommend coming in.

I will also come here to eat when I have free time, the environment is very clean and the space is very spacious. I ate all the food and drank all the drinks in this store, my favourite food is beef brisket, the beef brisket is very tasty and soft. The second is dumplings, the best is bubble tea, which is not too sweet and tastes like milk tea, The second is winter melon tea. I will also order takeaway, which is very fast.

extremely authentic chinese food !!! we ordered the yang zhou fried rice, beef hofan, char siu & pork belly. we also ordered milk tea as our drinks. the drinks r amazing !!!!! they don’t put a lot of ice in the drinks so you get a lot more bang for your buck. the char siu & pork belly was super yummy, wasn’t stinky at all but some pieces were more salty than others. the fried rice was nothing super special but the beef hofan was amazing!! the beef is so tender and soft would 100% recommend if coming here. overall such a great place to eat if you’re craving authentic chinese food. service was very helpful & friendly.

Absolutely loved the food! Lovely and friendly staff who always make me feel at home. Their bubble tea is the best one in town personally speaking.

This Chinese food has been wowed, the place is quite big and the location is good, just opposite the movie theater Odeon. From the presentation to the taste of the ingredients, it exceeded expectations! The taste is superb, the dishes are also very fresh, serving speed genuinely very good, and the price is affordable, the service is thoughtful, GREAT！

Went in for a meal tonight with my partner to have a nice meal out and all we got was disgusting disappointed food! The service was terrible as she couldn’t understand us at all and didn’t have no knowledge of the food! The food was very cold! All fatty and full with bones! Absolutely vile! We complained to the owner and basically thinks it’s amazing food he’s serving and we didn’t get a refund! He was absolute rude and having an argument with us!!!!! DO NOT GO HERE, unless you want disappointment! The tables was very sticky as looks like poor hygiene and there was food on the floors left by other people! The EHO will be hearing from me!

There is a popular restaurant next door that was heaving. Cosy Corner had some tables free, so we went in. Don't let the tired decor dissuade you, as it was clean and the staff were welcoming. Lovely meal. Will return.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had. The people who work here are completely rude & acted incompetently to serve their customers. The food is not worth any money. Absolutely terrible experience. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I had the best sweet & sour chicken & egg fried rice ever. Cash only was a bit of an inconvenience but there is a cash point over the road. I will be eating here again 😃

We were expecting a lot better but our expectations weren’t met :( when we placed an order the waiter didn’t take it correctly so we had to add more things to the order and pay twice , which meant going across the road to a cash machine twice since they don’t accept card… we ordered drinks including bubble tea, which were totally forgotten about and only brought to us after we reminded them and after we finished eating… the meat in our order seemed very dry as if it was microwaved :/ wasn’t worth the money… bubble tea was tasty though

Have ordered 3 times here, the food is very delicious and the Bubble Tea is excellent. The delivery comes within the hour, all fresh and great portions. The delivery driver is very sweet and friendly. Will order again! Thanks Cosy Corner!

I find this place is quite popular with Chinese students, which should say something about authenticness. But had to come here twice for lunch to give a review... This place does a Chinese and English menu (which the Chinese menu has more choice) and they serve bubble tea. First time I came here I had the Triple Cantonese Roast with rice and the steamed dumplings.... tbh, the roast was really meh - the cha siu was on the dry side, duck was not very meaty... I guess the crispy roast pork was the better of the three. But the steamed dumplings were alright with the dipping sauce. Second time I had the Traditional Northeast stew and Thai bubble tea (actually wanted Taro but the guy misheard, but a nice change from my usual). Much better than what I had first time and the bubble tea was OK. Mmmm I would come here again to try other stuff, but I defo don't really recommend the Cantonese roasts tbh... but the Traditional Northeastern Stew is worth a try.

Had I known there wasn't going to be fish balls in the soup noodle I wouldn't of come in period,soup was very bland,maybe you should add fresh ginger and corriander into it...2/3foors down you do get everything in ur dish.....very disappointed

Variable. We ordered from cosy corner: the chicken and pork were good but the chicken was dreadful: dry, flavourless and full of rock hard cartilage that made it a challenge to eat

This is a brilliant little Asian restaurant serving up amazing food. When you walk into a restaurant and the place is full of Asian people, you know the restaurant has to be good before you even order something. Probably the best Singapore style noodles I've had since Chinatown in Manchester. Really delicious food at a reasonable price.

Would not recommend the mixed grill from here. Meat was dry (particularly the duck) and lacked flavour, and the rice it was served with was over cooked and stodgy. Not worth £13!

Had passed this place many times determined to try it as it was always filled with Asian people, always a good sign. After seeing a film in Exeter we gave it a go and were not disappointed. Food was excellent, only disappointing thing were the grilled dumplings , they weren't bad just not fantastic like the other dishes. I suspect the boiled dumplings will be better and will try the next time. The Sichuan Beef was delicious, beef so tender, hot without being too hot, just right. The Singapore Noodles were the best I've ever had and believe me I've had a lot. Can't wait to go back again to try other dishes, had I not been full of cinema popcorn would have had much more. Love the beautiful tea pot and cups.

Very good noodles. The Beef Hor Fun was delicious! Tried the Roast Pork Noodles today and it was equally as good.

Over two hours waiting for a delivery no notification no call, nothing, try to call but phone is off the hook, will not be using them again!!

the 'boiled pork, prawn, chive and egg dumpling' is the tastiest dumpling i've ever tasted. ordered from uber eats, arrived before the estimated delivery time. i ate it so fast i didn't even realise it came with dipping sauce. will 100% be ordering again!

Ordered duck wings and had a couple of duck tongues in there as well.

Food and service average. No problem to pay cash. But no bill giving just tell how much and I don't even know how much actually spend on food，VAT or service charge.

I was very pleased with their home-made dumplings and baos. I chose pork and Chinese herbs for the steamed bao and veggies for the boiled dumplings. They were fresh and very tasty for a fair price! It is worth giving a try :-)

Simply the best. Tried food at this place for the very first time today. Had dumplings, braised beef and noodle soup and taro bubbletea. Absolutely the best I have ever had I would say. So delicious and yummy. Worth it every penny for the money. Very kind staff.

Wonderful authentic food, warm and lovely staff, cosy environment. Honestly the best noodles I've had in the UK (!!!), and the others I dined with said the same! The bubble tea is also very tasty. Highly recommend, if I could give more stars I would!

Went here for a group meal, and it was fantastic. Bit of a wait on the food, but when it arrived it did not disappoint. Proper Asian dishes - very tasty.

I am Cantonese and the bbq is authentic but it’s too dry and low quantity’s . The better one is mixed between juicy oily fat parts and lean parts. And I spend 10 pounds but only 3pounds in canton(Guangzhou). For someone who is curious about Cantonese food, I recommend.for Cantonese such as me and Hong Kong? 嗨

Lily the owner is so welcoming. The food excellent & reasonably priced. I myself is Malaysian and will be very happy to eat here again. The clue is while we were having a meal, we noticed a steady stream of young university students coming in. The potions are generous size (we’re small eaters) and glad we decided to have one potion of egg sea food noddles & pak choy dish. These were ample for us. Do give a try and guaranteed you won’t be disappointed!!!

This is a really lovely restaurant with good, simple, authentic Chinese food and bubble tea in a casual and well-decorated setting. They operate a little like a pub/cafe, where you order and pay at the front, and it's the kind of place where you can just relax and not feel rushed to leave. My only complaint is that they only have 1 vegetarian dish on the menu - it would be great if they could add a few more vegetarian meals!

Intentamos aquí para un desayuno. Me decepcionó un poco. La calidad de la comida era normal, nada especial para ser sincero. Muy pequeña ubicada junto a un bar de desayuno a comer sin verdadera habitación entre usted y el extraño sentado a su lado. No recomiendo una visita a este lugar.

Ruthys serve probably the best breakfasts in Exeter. Large tasty portions and a low price. Always a good place to have some great banter with the staff

Just had a cup of tea in here the other month. Ruth is now back at the helm & it seems to be back to the good little café that it used to be.

Food is great, and good value. Breakfasts are my personal favourites. nice touch adding newspapers in the cafe to read while enjoying the meal.

Great variety of food which was tasty and affordable, the staff were friendly and cooked food in front of me. Could see they take pride in the cleanliness of the cafe as it was spotless! Would definately recommend!

Level of the service is great, the staff cannot do too much for you, and the food they provide is excellent, cooking it right in front of you, from fresh, which is rare to see, but pleasing.Although seating inside is a little limited, extra seating is provided outside, which adds to the overall fantastic atmosphere.Highly recommend to anyone

This is not an up to date review. Probably haven’t been in for a year or more. The breakfast used to be great. Then the quantity was reduced, and then the price seemed to go up every time you went in there, so it was time to move on.
