The best restaurants serving Default food in St Columb Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

Wild bake wood fire pizzas are delicious this s the 2nd year we have tried them they are just as good each time we all try there specials which are very exciting service is really good place your order and you get a time slot and then just pick up perfect 😀👍

Ellerys is a small butchers which also sells home made hot pasties, sausage rolls and pies. Having lived in Cornwall for 30 years I must have eaten several thousand pasties, including Philps which I always thought were the best. That was until I discovered Ellerys. These are quite the BEST pasties I have ever eaten. If you are ever near St Columb Major, which is not far from Newquay Airport, made a point of going to Ellerys and sample one of these wonderful pasties.

Very nice and crispy fish with nice chips. Worth a munch.

Great food great value for money

Another, truly, fantastic meal at the Ring O Bells. Friday night calls for Fish and Fizz and this gem of a restaurant never fails to disappoint. A cosy, quiet inn who's owners care about their customers and will always take the time to interact with them to give an truly positive experience. The food was delicious, with staff open to substitutions if asked. We had 2 whole lobsters for £20 (each) less than previous Cornish restaurants we have tried. Both were excellent with a glass of prosecco to wash it down. Even this extravagant meal won't bankrupt the average person and that is to speak of nothing of the rest of the food on offer, which has always been, in my opinion, of great value for money, delicious and in a good quantity. If you're in need of a quiet getaway then this is the perfect place. Good food, cosy atmosphere and a well stocked bar (and some well stocked options for our furry companions of the world). Thank you Lucy and Sarah for another great experience.

Really delicious homemade cakes. Good selection, teas/coffees etc too. Takeaway available. Right next to car park!

I’m not quite sure what the other reviews are about below we had a lovely breakfast when we visited a couple weeks ago. Friendly staff couldn’t do enough, clean cafe, freshly cooked yummy food. Coffee was great. It’s no way near looked like the picture below and might I add they don’t even use those plates…. Also really helpful for knowledge when we asked about what to do and places to eat while on holiday. Just a lovely family run cafe. Great Pitstop.

Great pub friendly staff spacious outside beer drinking area

This is a great old fashioned village pub that is a pleasure to visit. A super friendly atmosphere and the staff are the same.Andy

Ordered fish & chips and battered sausage, all very greasy - won’t be going back, also, cash only - be prepared.

We had been staying in a lodge at the resort and made a stop for breakfast on the way out. We had cancelled a meal at the restaurant the day before on reading the terrible reviews but thought breakfast may be different. The service in the bar area was terrible. The employee saw myself and my friend searching for a breakfast menu and made no effort to assist until we asked her if they served breakfast. She then completely ignored my other friends whilst they were waiting at the bar ages to order, making no effort to tell them she would be with them after making a drinks order for another table. My friend had been overcharged the day before for coffee’s and when she asked what could be done was told ‘nothing I can do, I wasn’t here’. No advice to offer to help or point in the right direction. We placed an order for breakfast and then waited in excess of 40 minutes despite there only being one other table occupied. When the food came out the poached eggs were overcooked and hard boiled and the muffin was rock hard. By this time there was a queue at the bar and having waited so long for food we needed to be leaving.

Freshly cooked in front of you, friendly staff and reasonably priced excellent (very tasty) food

This is a hotel. Turned up no food for 3 hours. General manager and staff couldn't care less. Do not stay here! I don't believe I have ever checked out of a hotel before and I am 60. This is a very poor place

Only place open within 20 minutes. Was alright. Asked if the kebab was on "naan", thinking it was a full sized naan but it's a small burgerbun sized bread. Good salad. Ok pizza
