Pit Stop Cafe in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

I’m not quite sure what the other reviews are about below we had a lovely breakfast when we visited a couple weeks ago. Friendly staff couldn’t do enough, clean cafe, freshly cooked yummy food. Coffee was great. It’s no way near looked like the picture below and might I add they don’t even use those plates…. Also really helpful for knowledge when we asked about what to do and places to eat while on holiday. Just a lovely family run cafe. Great Pitstop.

There was a young girl who was serving me and she was very immature. I ordered a full english with extra bacon, eggs, and sausages and she called me fat. And then when I asked for chips on the side she said ok fatty patty.

i decided to order a fry up it smelled amazing but looked vile i took the first bite and a found myself to have a pube stuck in between my teeth it was extremely wiry and disturbing eerrrrrmmmm i wont be returning to this sh*t stop café. i shall be going to the burger van opposite my house!!!!!eeeeerrrrrrmmmmmm

A proper workers café serving proper breakfast food. Great value without the snobbery. Me and the wife had a great hearty breakfast here. Highly recommended.

This place is just great: fresh, delicious ingredients expertly cooked at great value. Run by locals who take extra care. Excellent.

I travel up and down the country and this was the worst place I’ve been for ages if not the worst!! I explained the food Wasn’t edible and all I got was a sorry and that was it, didn’t even have the decency to come over to the table and look at the food. Please avoid so you don’t waste your money like I did. This is my first ever review I’ve ever posted, but I feel so disappointed and I have to warn others off this place. If you do go don’t have the omelette, not sure how it got so many good reviews, I smell bs and anyone can write a review if you know what I’m saying 🤔

I am holiday and I have had 3 seperate visits to this cracking little cafe, 3 different meals all lovely, cooked perfect, presentation brilliant and the staff all friendly and helpful. I have a serious allergy and these lovely people have take care of my problem perfectly.

Stopped off for breakfast with a friend last Friday, Really nicely cooked loved the tinned tomatoes on the plate! Reasonably priced prompt service. Definitely will be back soon.

This was our first visit to the Pit Stop Café, and it certainly won’t be our last. The quality of the food and the friendly staff are top drawer. The children cleared their plates too. Fantastic.

We’ve been here a few times now. The food is always cooked perfectly and it’s all good produce. I’m super fussy with sausages but the ones here are good quality! This is the only place you can get tinned tomatoes on a breakfast, My partner loves her tinned tomatoes! You don’t need to be in a rush to get to this cafe as they serve breakfast all day. The staff are welcoming, food efficiency is brilliant and the prices are good. We will always come back.

I just fancied a cooked breakfast it was Monday morning and beautiful with the sun out so I thought where?.So top down on the car , then I thought I know the Pitstop” . So large breakfast ordered with plenty of choice I forgot to cancel the hash browns because I’m not a lover , option of tinned tomatoes and a touch of fried bread and mushrooms, fried egg . And I have to say a proper sausage not the cheap ones. Bread and butter. I’m attaching a photo too . So really friendly staff and a great quality breakfast and service. Highly recommended “.

Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning We had a good breakfast which was expertly cooked and ready in a reasonably short time. This was a thoroughly enjoyable breakfast

If you are camping within a 10 mile journey of the pit stop cafe, you would be insane to bother dirtying your own frying pan.

generous excellent value breakfast café. Good coffee too. Breakfast is low budget but generous and well cooked.

Great service and value for money today, went out with a mate for a good fryup amd we were not dissapointed . Top breakie, clean and freindly and top service, lovely staff deffo will go back

Mi pareja y yo estuvimos muy contentos de ver la parada en boxes de nuevo abierto, gran lugar para conseguir un desayuno inglés completo. El café estaba limpia, y el menú era bueno y a un precio muy razonable. La comida era fresco, que ya que estaba bastante concurrida causó un poco de espera para comida pero cuando llegó estaba caliente, fresco y bien presentado. Lo recomendaría para una parada agradable desayunar!

Pleased to see pit stop open again :-) new management similar but not the same menu. Cappuccino and carrot cake always A winner for Me.

Somos un grupo de 4 adultos que paramos a desayunar en la cafetería Pittstop. La cafetería estaba impecablemente limpio, el personal era muy amable, la comida a un precio razonable, recién preparado y deliciosa. Recomendaremos este café de todo el mundo.

La comida es buenísima, preparado a su gusto, muy limpio y el personal es amable, bollos de Rock son increíbles! Incluso la esposa ratificó la parada y que no suele ocurrir.

Comer aquí y ahora otra vez. Es siempre una buena comida, aunque no es el más barato, pero se obtiene lo que se paga. El café es siempre limpio y el personal es amable.

After searching for a day we found a cafe for breakfast, tucked out the way its a porta cabin on a small industrial site.The 2 girls working in there were totally awesome, always smiling, friendly and welcoming.The premises were clean on each of our 5 visits, food delivered fresh each day ( we saw it being delivered ) and cooked fresh, none of this re heated stuff.Not much else can be said, welcoming, friendly, clean and good food.Recommended for breakfasts :D

Food cooked as you like it... asked for a super crispy BLT and it's one of the best I've ever had. £1 for a cup of tea, this place is well worth pulling off the road for (look for the chequered flag on a tall pole)

Open air burger style cafe/restaurant. Open until around 10.00pm and nothing is too much trouble. Excellent staff and service and very large portions.

Stopped here for breakfast 04/07/14 & order the small breakfast, Just as well as I struggled to finish it with the mug of tea. Staff where great & friendly service.

Have a caravan in St merrynand go down at least once a month always have breakfast at least once on the weekend its cooked fresh and it not greasy at all the women that work in there are always cheerfull they remeber what I like for breakfast which is nice and the coffee is great for a cafe. Not been since end of October but opening the caravan 22nd march so will be popping in for breccy before going to the van, just right to set you up for the day.

Great service all the food is freshly prepared but worth the wait if there is a Que worth stopping for coffee and cake mmm beaware cash only no card's that said looking forwardto next visit.
