If you’re in Marlow and craving a solid late-night bite, Haji’s Kebab and Burger Van is an absolute gem. The food is exactly what you want from a roadside spot—flavorful, filling, and freshly made. The kebabs are the star of the show: tender meat, perfectly seasoned, wrapped in warm, soft bread with fresh salad and just the right amount of sauce. Their burgers are no slouch either—juicy, well-grilled, and stacked with classic toppings. Whether you’re grabbing a cheeseburger or something more loaded, it’s clear that care goes into every order. The chips are golden and crispy, never greasy, and pair perfectly with a kebab or burger. Portion sizes are generous, so you’re getting great value for your money. Everything is served hot and fresh, and Haji’s attention to detail really shows. It’s comfort food done right—simple, hearty, and delicious.

What a wonderful venue to enjoy delicious food in the company of friends. Rich and Cat were amazing. It was like having the most fantastic Sunday lunch (but better!) in your own home. That was what it felt like but with sublime flavours and variety catered for everyone. Go, you won’t be disappointed.

Our party ordered 2 tiramisu. We waited about 10mins. The server walk to us and says “the chef is preparing it fresh for you now”. At that point I got really concerned, but I thought to myself, there’s no way they will serve us a raw mix that had no time to set. They DID. We waited another 5-10mins as we could hear the chef preparing it. We got two servings of raw egg and cream, mixed with more sugar than we could handle. We felt the crunch of the granulated sugar and choked on the chocolate powder that did not set, with a taste of eggy, strong coffee. It tasted so bad but we tried it anyway in disbelief. We loved coming here and my partner gobbled it up to be polite and avoid complaining. He felt really sick afterwards. We paid and we left. Not coming back and after some time I am still shocked we were served that. If you sold out or you are behind on prep, just take it off the menu. Deeply disappointed and concerned you are charging for mixing tiramisu ingredients together and calling yourself an Italian restaurant.

Our first time at Giggling Squid in Marlow. Lunch for two and our total bill was about £77. We ordered the chilly & salt squid, duck spring rolls, Tom Yum fried rice, Chicken & Prawn pad Thai and the Drunken Ribs. I also ordered a medium glass of South African white wine. The squid is excellent.
