Côte Marlow in Wycombe

We have been coming to this restaurant for 11 years now. Best place to have French Onion Soup and Fillet Steak.

A lovely space to enjoy great food in a relaxed environment, where the staff are fantastic.

We had a great experience in a nice setting, with beautiful weather. The staff were friendly and attentive. The service was perfectly timed and impeccable.

First time dining at Marlow. Party of 8 for a birthday celebration. Greeted on arrival, slight mistake about table area preference. Was sorted out with no problem, moving tables together so we could sit where we had wanted to. Daniel our waiter could not have been more charming or helpful, going beyond what was expected, a real gem and asset to the Marlow team. The food was nice, arrived in good time and was enjoyed. The main course was a bit cold, but again, after sending back, it was not an issue, handled quickly and with no problem. So, excellent staff made this visit memorable and thank you again to Daniel for the bubbles!

Consistent, good value for money and a great team

Best chain restaurant in the area. Food and drinks are great quality and value for money. I would say that service is a little too quick and that restaurant is quite noisy with children

Place is nice enough and staff is friendly. No complaints there. But the atmosphere, while the place likely (based on appearance) wants to be upscale, is average, and music is too loud. Service is on the slow side. And the food is fine, but nothing to write home about and definitely not for the money. Overall, an ok restaurant but I'd probably go elsewhere next time.

Lunch 2 people 1pm today, chicken parfait excellent, mains chicken with amazing mushroom sauce excellent, however my burger was unbelievably SAD just a block of tasteless mincemeat difficult to chew and as stated no enjoyment at all....shame guy's 20 pounds for a burger you should be able to make it enjoyable

I had a lovely morning at the Côte Brasserie. The sun was shining and lighting up the beautiful restaurant, the food was beautifully presented and of course as delicious as it looked and the staff really looked after me. Big thanks to Jack, Sophie, Tibor and Belle.

Had a lovely three course meal during our short stay in Marlow. I had the pumpkin soup and helped my wife finish the generous serving of chicken liver pâté 😀 We both had the sea bass and desert. Service was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

Rather small portions for breakfast. No brown bread or fried bread would not go out of my way to return. Poor value for money. Staff excellent though..!

Great food, service and atmosphere at affordable prices

Food was cold service was slow overall experience not good, the staff were friendly but food took too long and was tepid. Discount of 10% was given and 2 meals deducted.

Awful experience here. Really slow service, rude staff, food poor. Not worth the money and the worst cote experience by far. Will not be returning there are far nicer places in Marlow.

Manager was unspeakably rude and dismissive. How dare he treat his clients with such disregard and distain! Such a shame as the rest of the staff were delightful and clearly embarrassed by the ignorant behaviour of their ‘boss’. The wrong person is in charge.

It was warm, well maintained and the staff were so friendly. Quick service too and we had to dash out for a train, so the server was able to get us sorted efficiently. The breakfast selection was pretty extensive and I definitely liked the £14.95 breakfast deal with a juice, any hot drink and hot food item. Definitely a favourite for breakfast - please don't change anything!

Comfortable and warm on a very cold and miserable day. A good selection of dishes well presented. We had a variety of choices and all was cleared, which is always a good recommendation. I look forward to my next visit.

Pre fixe meal very good and good value. Service was good considering that even on a Friday lunchtime the restaurant was full.

Ordered Steak Frites with triple cooked chips upgrade lunch time meal yesterday. Probably the best and tastiest steak I have eaten.

By far the best vegan food... Healthy, high protein choices, unique flavours and exceptional service by all. We would definitely visit soon.

This was a birthday celebration with friends. The whole experience was excellent and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food, drinks and service. I had received a voucher for a free bottle of fizz which was served as soon as we sat down without me needing to ask. I have one member of my party who can't drink and two drivers but rather than them missing out the waiter brought them non alcoholic cocktails on the house which was a nice touch. I have notice that the price has crept up which is inevitable i suppose

We really enjoy the food at Cote and have visited many times. The staff are friendly and welcoming, providing a good service. The restaurant is clean and attractive. We always ask for the set menu, which is reasonably priced and has a great selection of dishes. Recently, 3 of us went, and we had 3 glasses of wine. 2 people had 2x courses (sea bass/crepe and chocolate mousse) 1 person 3 courses - fishcake, steak, plums. The total, including service charge, was £90. It's not cheap but the food was excellent. The restaurant was busy, and the atmosphere was chatty, not too loud. We hadn't pre booked, and it was a Thursday, but it may be wise for the weekend. There's a pay and display car park next to the restaurant. A good place to visit.

Cote is very reliable. Food is good. Service is always excellent. Restaurants are clean and quite stylish. The menu doesn't change much so I know what I'm going to have in advance (which is sometimes a good thing). Prices are OK. Recommended.

I recently dined at Cote Restaurant in Marlow and had a wonderful experience. The salad was fresh and tasted lovely, and there was a good selection of wine. We had a 60th wedding anniversary lunch in the room to the right of the front door. From the beginning, it was a pleasure to organise this event with Cote. On the day, the food was fabulous, the service was incredible (Ruby, you are a star!) and the atmosphere was so relaxed because everything went to plan. Thank you so much, I will recommend you over and over.

Delicious food and beautiful location. We went on a Friday at 7:00 p.m. and it was very busy so it took them 1 hour to serve us the food. Apart from that, everything was excellent. Everything was delicious and the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend the onion soup, mussels with potatoes and creme caramel

We played World cup 70+ at the cricket ground.We were treated with love and respect at the highest level. If I have to plan a party or family gathering,this is the place ,a group of nicest people one can meet.🙏🏽🙏🏽

Restaurant atmosphere and outdoor seating was nice and service was good and friendly but food was mediocre, I ordered the burger which tested nice but the patty quality was to my expectation.

Cocktail's were delicious and reasonably priced. I enjoyed the steak but my husband didn't enjoy the taste of his as much. Service was ok.

Took my kids and a friend for dinner to celebrate my son’s first communion. The team were so attentive and caring towards us. They had great recommendations for food and drinks and even brought blankets for my kids when the chill set in as we were outside. Great atmosphere, amazing food and excellent service overall. My kids love this place and they know it’s a special treat.

High level restaurant with excellent quality service and delicious food. Great atmosphere. It was amazing desert at the end of our dinner - Creme Caramel and Creme Brulee. Highly recommend!

Great brunch, sausage. Undercooked for my liking but they happily provided a browner and more cooked one.

We’ve been many times, service has always been great. This time was a birthday brunch for my daughter’s 19th birthday with the grandparents. Wonderful as always. Poached eggs were over cooked on two meals, but rectified immediately without fuss. Fabulous service and staff. Thank you.

This is only our second ever visit to a Cote outlet. We were warmly greeted by Susan and shown around the garden area and then to a lovely table by the window. The restaurant was busy, but were were well served and not rushed in any way. The food was piping hot and the drinks selection good. (Sassy cider is a treat)

I had Sunday lunch with my wife at this restaurant in Marlow, after an enjoyable morning browsing through the shops and the park in this lovely town. The Cote restaurant looks attractive with a relaxing environment. Starters were lovely but I found a tall blonde hair (not mine I am bald and my head is shaven) on top of the main course - Beef Bourgogne. I commented about this to the server who immediately offered to take it back to the kitchen and replace the dish. I think there are two ways to look at this situation: the first is the positive outlook - everyone makes mistakes, it’s just a hair, it could happen everywhere. The second way of looking at it is to think that this indicates that the kitchen staff do not wear caps or hair nets, and possibly there may be other kitchen failings. Do the kitchen staff wash their hands, do they observe sanitary procedures? Would the server take the dish into the kitchen and return the same dish a few minutes later? I can never have answers to these questions so we skipped desert and coffee, paid the bill and left.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a restaurant managed by Dani, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, Dani's attention to detail and commitment to providing top-notch service were evident. He went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction, making us feel truly valued as customers. What stood out most, however, was the quality of the food, particularly the meat. It was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection, and showcased the chef's skill and the high-quality ingredients used. Dani's professionalism and the outstanding dining experience he offers make this restaurant a must-visit. Kudos to Dani for making our evening so memorable!

If we wish to dine out and know the food , service and environment will be first class we always choose Côte

Great vibe with my colleagues tonight - large table of about 35 people and the service and food was great!

Not impressed, I had POULET BRETON AU GRILLÉ checken was very dry.......we ordered dessert and it didn't arrive but was added to the bill!!!! No apology... the staff were lovely though. I won't be going back

I get the mussels every time I visit Côte, and I could never get tired of them. They’re amazing and the sauce is delicious!! Soup was nice but wouldn’t get it again

Had an excellent meal last night, Cote being my favourite place to eat. Had Confit Pork Belly which was amazing, the top was lovely and crisp, the pork just fell apart and tasted absolutely wonderful. The restaurant staff were extremely helpful and made me feel very welcome. They made sure I sat down comfortably and put my crutches at the side of me but safely out of the way. Then it was time to relax 😎 and enjoy the food and atmosphere.

I would like to thank all the staff for such a wonderful meal and service on 2nd March 2024 early evening. This is has got to be one of the best Cote restaurants we have visited. For some reason the food was a lot better presented and tasted a lot better than other Cotes we have visited in other areas! Both of us had our favourite slow roasted belly pork which was excellent. And the cafe Gourmend to finish.

We had the prix fixe, steak and fries, and grilled chicken which were perfectly cooked. The decor and cleanliness were very good. The only downside is the lack of convenient parking in that part of Marlow.

Faultless service (special mention to Vasco), great atmosphere and lovely food and wine. We have been going to Cote Marlow for years with my parents, and it was the natural choice for our evening meal on the day we learned of my father's passing. It was like a warm hug from an old friend, thank you Cote Marlow.

Despite the restaurant being only half full it took 15 minutes for our order to be taken. 50% of the order arrived in 10 minutes. Half an hour later the rest arrived. Quality was good, maybe they were short staffed in the kitchen. But not a brilliant experience.

Went mid afternoon on a Sunday, so missed the lunchtime rush. We did the Cote Sunday Special, sharing chicken, pork and steak and a choice of three side dishes for £25pp. Excellent food, relaxed atmosphere. Never felt rushed.

This was a wonderful find on a cold New Year's Day. We had researched a nearby dog friendly venue but had found that it was closed. We popped in on the off chance and asked if we could bring our dog in with us and thankfully we were allowed as it wasn't busy and there was a table tucked away from the main area which was full of diners. We had a vegan and a veggie breakfast and ordered a sausage for Wellington. The food was perfec and came quickly after our order. My coffee tasted so good that I had to have another. Most notable though was the service. Our waitress took time to converse with us and made us feel extremely welcome. The manager also came over to ask if we had everything we needed. Thank you so much for making us smile and looking after us so well.

The food and price for New Year’s Eve was excellent. Couldn’t fault the food or the service OR the price … well done Cotes
