We Came for Mother’s Day. Too be honest our reviews will never change as we are always treated beautifully, the food is spectacular, the ambience amazing but in all honesty we can and never have faulted any of our experiences. Many thanks Sonia and family

Friendly and welcoming, if slightly chaotic! Many friendly dogs, fairly good food!

What a miserable bunch, staff and customers alike. Felt very unwelcome, one customer grumbled he wasn’t sure what was worse, kids or dogs. Very cliquy village cafe. Not expensive, but wouldn’t go there again.

This is a lovely cafe with great service and great food. Myself and my 4 work colleagues popped in this week and as always it was fantastic. We try and come here as often as we can. There's been the odd occasion where we have forgot to phone ahead/book a table and are always welcomed. Highly recommended.

Food was ok. Had to wait for nearly 40 mins just for coffee and were served by a very sullen girl with long dark hair. Abrupt & rude like she truly couldn't be bothered.

We had a lovely meal at The Gate today. The atmosphere was so nice, the staff were friendly and the food was amazing! We were served by the lovely Taylor who couldn’t do enough for us!

Best place out there in a 100 miles radius and the burger was heavenly 🤤🤤🤤 everything including the stuff are amazing i come here again and again.

We use them regularly....admittedly not working our way through the menu as we have favourites. My wife is Chinese.....if she says the food is authentic, I'm more than happy that my judgement was sound. Lovely flavours and moderately priced.

Went for dinner with friends on Sunday. Service was excellent. Food was delicious and the staff were fantastic. Would highly recommend. Staff came and checked on us regularly and asked if they could do anything else for us. Super service!

I was excited to try this restaurant as it promised to be very aware of my gluten free needs and also very much into a plant based approach as I also have a strong lactose intolerance. I had already looked at the menu and there was a good selection of dishes that suited my needs, so I was looking forward to the experience. When we arrived I was not disappointed the decor is sleek and the food looked really nice. We ordered our food and we waited and we waited and we waited. If the place had been really busy I could have understood, but only a third of the tables were occupied. My experience in cafes is that usually the drinks arrive first, but not here. We had already eaten our meals before the drinks arrived, which is strange. The smoothie I had was delicious and the hot chocolate was very hot. I had avocado on toast, which is a personal favourite and I've eaten this at many brunch spots. For £8.50 I had what looked like half a slice of gluten free bread and half an avocado sprinkled with some seeds. I was somewhat underwhelmed for the price and the wait of around half an hour; remember I haven't even had a drink at this point. I've looked at the menu and it promises two slices of sour dough! My husband had the panini, which he said was tasty, but not worth the cost. There are many other cafes in Marlborough which offer brunch and next time I'm there I will be visiting them instead.

Sunday roast was amazing, really good value for money. Excellent service. Excellent food. Will definitely return soon. Would highly recommend

First time attending this pub, I ordered the chilli con carne not had the in a while, very disappointed very bland just like having a bowl of mince, no chilli, no peppers and no red kidney beans, had a latte to go with it and it’s a satchel of coffee powered form, not even a coffee machine in the pub, the owner lets her dog run around the pub and it sits there and moans at u if u don’t feed it, not very good for a pub serving food, won’t be going there again
