I was excited to try this restaurant as it promised to be very aware of my gluten free needs and also very much into a plant based approach as I also have a strong lactose intolerance. I had already looked at the menu and there was a good selection of dishes that suited my needs, so I was looking forward to the experience. When we arrived I was not disappointed the decor is sleek and the food looked really nice. We ordered our food and we waited and we waited and we waited. If the place had been really busy I could have understood, but only a third of the tables were occupied. My experience in cafes is that usually the drinks arrive first, but not here. We had already eaten our meals before the drinks arrived, which is strange. The smoothie I had was delicious and the hot chocolate was very hot. I had avocado on toast, which is a personal favourite and I've eaten this at many brunch spots. For £8.50 I had what looked like half a slice of gluten free bread and half an avocado sprinkled with some seeds. I was somewhat underwhelmed for the price and the wait of around half an hour; remember I haven't even had a drink at this point. I've looked at the menu and it promises two slices of sour dough! My husband had the panini, which he said was tasty, but not worth the cost. There are many other cafes in Marlborough which offer brunch and next time I'm there I will be visiting them instead.

We were visiting Marlborough and needed healthy breakfast before taking to the road. We dropped into Eliane’s. What a treat. Service was historic and food and drinks arrived in literally moments. Everything was beautifully presented and tasty beyond belief. Eggs and fresh orange juice were absolute perfection. Thank you. 👏

My first visit to Eliane was in Hungerford and I fell in love with their food there and then. I was very pleased when the Marlborough restaurant reopened as it is much closer to home for me. The food is excellent and the service also. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and clearly passionate about their food. True, it is a little pricey but I cannot fault the quality. I have been gradually working my way through the menu but on my last visit I went for the soup of the day. It was pea and mint which sounds somewhat everyday but it really was very tasty and flavoursome.

Popped in here with the family for a bite to eat, it wasn’t overly busy so we quickly put in an order for 3 toasted sandwiches and 3 drinks, plus 2 cookies to share. Costing around 32 quid in total which in hindsight is a complete rip-off. The coffee was good, I’ll give them that, but my toasted sandwich was not actually toasted, I think they’d waved it past the toaster for 30 seconds but the Brie was not even close to being melted. As the member of staff brought it over she went to give it to the wrong person on our table, that’s ok, however when I enquired is that the Brie one? She answered yes this is Brie, that’s a type of cheese! It was a pretty horrible sandwich too, advertised as Brie walnut and honey, sounded nice but had big slabs of cold tomato in it. But wow, I didn’t expect to be so patronised by her explaining that Brie is cheese! All we could do was laugh. It was extremely slow then bringing the next two sandwiches by which time I’d almost finished mine, both of these were totally under-done again so we sent them back, we got some eye rolls from this waitress who clearly couldn’t be bothered to re-toast them. The cookies looked amazing but were only ok. All in all a poor value, not so nice lunch with really bad customer service to boot.

Visited with my daughter and Grandson and had some very tasty Thai food, plus coffee and cake. The food was very tasty, the massuman curry and Pad Thai a wonderful fusion of spice and flavour. The Blueberry and coconut cake was a hit also. Staff were efficient and approachable.

All a bit "London" to be honest. Appreciate that organic food comes with a premium, but these prices seem to have organic premium + London weighting! Brunch for 2 plus 2 coffees & 1 orange juice > £45 The food was OK, but honestly not worth the price at all, you can get better food for way less at other establishments in the area.

Disappointed with this spot. Found the food expensive for what it was and sandwich hardly had any meat. Wasn’t overly impressed with the service and felt they got sassy when we asked for some sauce as we found the food dry. Smoothies were okay, has potential and never got round to trying this spot again.

Bad - I am allergic to gluten and so asked for gluten free bread, they brought out my dish and I asked if it was gluten free and they said they thought so, it didn’t look like it to me so I asked them to double check and so she went to the kitchen to ask and they said it was and it was fine, I was still unsure as it looked the same as all the other bread given to the rest of the party so I had to ask for a THRID time, they eventually realised it was not gluten free. They didn’t seem very concerned or sorry, said they would bring out some gluten free bread, this took around 10 minutes and by this time I had already eaten my food and what they did bring was just soaked in oil as for some reason they had deep fried it instead of toasted it. It was only when I went to the counter to complain afterwards to tell them how Sick I would have been if I had actually eaten the bread they said was okay to eat TWICE!! that they apologised- but didn’t offer a discount or anything. This is quite concerning for future customers with allergies!! Apart from that there was a good choice of food on the menu, but most of what did come out was cold and it was very expensive for what it was. Staff were friendly but very slow and kept forgetting to bring things to the table / and saw the same with other tables - of which there were only 2 other so it’s not like they were busy at all. Quite disappointing as they looked good online

Came because my Son and Girlfriend are vegan and there are many vegan options. Avacado on toast with poached egg £20????!!!! Just one example. Breakfasts ok - not great - better options in town for much less than £70 for four of us with one drink each and only a smoothie bowl for one. Didn't ask for receipt and given another review I just read, I hope that didn't include payment for tap water which we asked for as food arrived and were just told where to go and get it ourselves.

Visited for a quick lunch with friends/family. Ordered a tomato and mozzarella panini which came and looked lovely. However it was full of slices of avocado. I took it back and the lady said have you eaten it. I said yes I had tasted it as his else would I know. She didn’t really seem to believe me so I said shall I show you. She said ok and went and got it. She then asked the other server if she knew about this and she said yes they all have avocado in them I hitch wasn’t written on the label in the fridge where they were. She offered me a different one free of charge ( but not really as I had paid for one I couldn’t eat ). So I ordered a coronation chicken which was ok. My sister had a vegetarian panini which was missing some of the ingredients that were listed. The side salad consisted of basically raw peppers and was very small for £4.95. Maybe the chef should read the labels that are displayed on the sandwiches.

Visited Eliane Marlborough for the first time, we were just 2 friends looking for a cup of tea and some yummy cake. It was late afternoon so it was fairly quiet The cake was more than yummy and the portion was very generous. The presentation of the tea with the cute strainer is such a lovely touch. The staff were super friendly. We will definitely be back

If you are in Marlborough. Need a meal or a snack this is the place to go. Certainly not budget but the food is worth every penny. If you are not sure what to order, Sophie is the one to ask. By the way the chicken burger is huge. All the staff are all amazing. Friendly cheerful and very welcoming. Only reason I go there is because, The welcome is friendly. Lovely smiles. Very relaxing atmosphere, little bit of tranquillity in a busy day. The service is the best. Last but not least the food. it is all organic and locally sourced. Just love going there. Lush!

We stopped in for a coffee and decided to stay for lunch - a very good decision. The coffee (I had a flat white) was just perfect. We ordered panini and these were very good too. All in all a great place for coffee or lunch.
