The best restaurants serving Default food in Chipping Norton West Oxfordshire South East

This was our fifth stay here and, as usual, it was sublime. The staff couldn’t have been kinder and more welcoming, the atmosphere warm and the Valentines Day dinner and breakfasts delicious. The place is pregnant with character and charm. My husband and I stayed here with my parents and loved every minute. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We will be back many more times.

Ordered food for 17 15 . Arrived early piping hot and a lovely meal

This is an excellent place to go, the staff, especially Linda, are so welcoming, courteous, and very good at their job. Nothing is too much trouble. They work really hard. HOWEVER, one person who has very short blond hair whose name begins with an H can be very unfriendly to the point of being rude. It's not very nice to experience. Such a shame ☹️

Service was good and the coffee average. Where Costa Chipping Norton exceeds all expectation is in the grubbiness of the furniture. All of the soft furnishing looks like it has been a recent victim of incontinence. I would have sat on a chair but fear I might have caught the plague off it. Burn it all!

Just moved area thought I’d try the local chippy, just paid £18 for this “large” cod & “large” chips and a battered sausage, the only thing they didn’t get wrong was the battered sausage, not even enough chips to feed one person, cod was a child’s portion, chips were undercooked, don’t usually leave reviews but that was awful. Would’ve been a regular customer. Never again.

Absolutely terrible. Food took 1 hour 20 minutes to come despite being 7 minutes done the road and a fairly small order. Food was absolutely stone cold when it arrived. Rang up to ask for some sort of refund as food was inedible to be met with the rudest man telling me it was not late and it couldn't possibly be cold??? Like I wouldn't know!! He was incredibly belitting calling me 'darling' and offered me no apology nor any part of a refund. Horrific experience from a place I used to like. I am NOT impressed and will not be coming again. AVOID.

I live here and go in occasionally for an iced bun and a cup of tea if I have time to kill. Yesterday I noticed how dirty and shabby everything was and how grumpy the staff were. Not at all welcoming. The place needs a good clean and a makeover. Out of interest I looked up their hygiene rating and it is 1.

It's a takeaway food is crap,not authentic and not all consistent poor chef tastes like out of a jar sticky mess vile 😫 Do not go there! 😡
