Ordered food for 17 15 . Arrived early piping hot and a lovely meal

Omg frozen chicken, burnt prawn balls if you can call then that as the prawns were so tiny you had trouble seeing them in all that greasy batter, chicken satay watery and no taste rotten what a waste of £40. Don’t touch!!!!

Got a delivery to Moreton in marsh and it came fairly quick for how far out it is from us and the food was very lovely and hot

If i could do 0 star i would, i had the shrimp curry and i feel awful the day after and been sick twice and others in the family had chicken balls and sweet and sour and it was hard overcooked bland and rice was ice cold

I order from here regularly. Foods always good and hot, never to long of a wait. The delievery drivers are great. I have a roddler and live in a flat. They rang me today instead of pressing the buzzer as he said on the phone incase it made a loud noise. I appreciate that alot and was thoughtful :)

Was passing through Chipping Norton and fancied a Chinese and ended up going here. It's takeaway or delivery no dine in. The staff was very nice and helpful and also the food was also very good and tasty the whole family enjoyed it. I highly recommend the 1/4 duck and salt and pepper king prawns

Takeaway via the app. Placed order at 5pm ready to be delivered for 7pm. Unfortunately this was 50min late. We asked for compensation for waiting, offered a bottle of coke. Food delivered at 7.50pm. Delivery man apologetic. Food was tasty. Enjoyed by all. Apart from the late delivery, the food made up for it

Ordered food at 5pm for delivery at 7pm, when it hadn't arrived at 730pm we called, food arrived 20 mins later. Other than the delay the food was nice 🙂

Ordered a takeaway this evening the man on the phone was very nice. racked up an order of £96 and was told the delivery would get there within an hour and 15 mins. 1h30 mins past so called and the man on the phone was very apologetic but said it would still be taking another 45mins I asked him if there was anything that could be done as 2hours for a takeaway to be delivered is not exeptable. He said he would speak to the kitchen and the way they spoke to him was disgusting I really felt for him a women was screaming and shouting and I could hear it all from over the phone extremely unprofessional. Then the takeaway proceeded to take 2 hours and 15 mins in total to arrive. They had offered us 20% off the bill but when arrived only gave us £15 which was not the agreed 20%. And a lot of the food was awful. Won't be a returning customer and just wanted to make people aware of the way they dealt with the matter and the poor lad on the phone having to put up with such awful treatment in the workplace.

Very nice food, did take a while after ordering to get food which was booked online but friendly staff

I ordered at 5.15pm and it was delivered 30 mins later. Unfortunately the chips and rice were cold and the chow mein was barely hot, simple and bland. This is the first time I've tried a take away since I moved here nearly 2 yrs ago and most likely the last too. :(

Tasted absolutely awful, inedible. I'd ask for my money back if I could be bothered arguing how disgusting it tasted. Binned the lot, having chef in the title of the company is comical.

Might aswell of eaten a plain slice of bread literally the blandest Chinese meal I've ever had! Chicken was over cooked and stringy the satay sauce was like chicken soup 🤢 noodles tasted like water, the beef was inedible and what was supposed to be Cantonese sauce was like watered down ketchup need I say anymore! Will not be using again!

Amazing food and amazing service I ordered for collection over the phone and was told come down in 20 minutes and when I arrived it was all ready and the meal was very hot and delicious I will defo be back!

Top grub top people best meal I’ve ate in years

Probably the worst Chinese meal I have ever had the misfortune to order. Spent over £30 on a meal two of our main courses well I don’t know what they were but not what we ordered. The rest was sub standard and I couldn’t eat any of it. Won’t be going there again

Ordered food for delivery this evening: Delivery was super fast & the driver called me as he was on his way which was nice. Food arrived hot & tasted alot better than the other Chinese shops in the area. Was a great experience & will be ordering again

I ordered salt and pepper chips, kung po chicken, egg fried rice - £15 Firstly, the chips were delicious. Nothing bad to say there. Then I opened the kung po chicken. The sauce was not like any I've had before, and the chicken wasn't battered.... it was boiled. It was almost like they gave me the wrong dish. The egg fried rice seemed a lot older then 1 day old rice, either that or it was over cooked. They must of used a TON of MSG, because when I slept I had some crazy dreams and I've woke up with brain fog. Unfortunately I won't be eating here again. Its a shame to review a local business so poorly, but I know they can do better. Not a great experience, and rather expensive

Ordered Chinese for the family and got it home only to see half way through eating, there is a dead fly in the Prawn crackers. Usually very happy with the food and service but won't be going back again.

I used to use this takeaway all the time but due to travelling haven’t for a couple of year , was in chippy on Saturday and thought why not ….. Big mistake 😡😡😡 Order was wrong , part of order was missing and the food was so over cooked ( unbeatable ) . Two very disappointing costumers, won’t be going back

Over priced and over cooked. Nothing hot or sour about the soup. Nothing crispy about the duck and the chicken balls are more batter than chicken. They are also cooked to the point they are burnt. No eggs or peas in the special fried rice and nothing crispy or spicy about the crispy chilli beef. As someone with Chinese family who are good chefs, I woukd highly recommend you just get a kebab from best kebabs in the center of chippi

Me and my friend fancy to order some chinese food. We ordered two portions of salt pepper chicken, salt and pepper squid, beef noodles, mushroom soup and chicken noodles. Once we reached home, I was surprised to see that the salt and pepper squid box was half empty for £8. Calling the person from there and explaining the situation, i have been told :" if you are not happy, don't buy anymore from us". Very rude attitude

I ordered my food to be delivered. I live locally to the Imperial Chef. Granted it was Friday and most takeaways are normally very busy. It took 2 hours for my food to arrive. The sesame toast was delivered in a plastic tub and had become soggy. The main courses were bland and watery. The prawn curry only had 6 prawns in but loads of onion. A good factor about this takeaway is it does deliver and is the only Chinese takeaway that does in Chipping Norton.

Ordered a meal for delivery to a local caravan site where we were staying, I can honestly say I couldn't fault the service or the quality of food, the guy was very polite, the food was pipping hot and delicious, will definitely be having another one.

I was told the name of a Chinese to go to in Chippy by a work colleague. On going out I couldn't remember the name of the takeaway so ended up here. This place was rough! The food was terrible and ....... actually, nothing more to add, that's it. AVOID!! Oh and the takeaway I was told to go to was the Beijing. Go there.

I telephoned an order this evening for delivery at 18.15 it’s now 20.15 I was told it would be 45mins when I ordered. Still no food delivered. Rang at 19.40 and they said they had been busy and it would be another 15 minutes. I’m sorry but waiting 2 hours and still no food delivered is not exceptable!

Very good customer service. Amazing tasting food. I asked about a dish they didn’t have on the menu, and they offered to make it for me anyway. So kind. Will definitely order from here again.

Utterly vile, cold, inedible food...called the shop hoping for a refund and asked in a friendly manner to be told by i'm guessing the owner/boss that he didn't care what we thought the food was like and he ended the with "I don't care what you want" and hung up. 1* is a star too many, highly recommend you don't order food from here.

Our family agreed the food we had delivered was the best Chinese food we've ever had, from the excellent duck down to the tastiest complementary prawn crackers. We will be supporting Imperial Chef and would recommend them for fresh tasty food in generous portions!

Dreadful, overpriced food. £22 for horrible, fatty meat in the sweet & sour pork, stodgy dumplings and chicken chow mien that comprised a few strips of chicken laid on a dish of plain, dry noodles. That is not chicken chow mien. This is not a good Chinese take away...

Some of the best sweet sour chicken balls I've ever had well seasoned and juicy inside and overall very nice food would recommend if passing through or live locally👍

Probably the worst Chinese take away I've EVER had. I ordered Beef in black bean sauce. Now when I say the beef was chewy, it was like eating cardboard. Vile. Even the boiled rice was bland and boring. The special chow main was tasteless and the sauce was gloopy. The whole thing was just terrible and has actually put me off Chinese food in general.

Very poor food, so disappointing. No flavour & the worst satay chicken I’ve ever had. Egg fried rice terrible and beef very chewy! Ordered beef curry and received chicken curry that had been cut into chunks like squares! Chips completely undercooked, hard and cold :( this has put me off on Chinese food - such a shame

this chinese food was so revolting, i couldnt eat it after first mouthful. we had asked for bbq sauce and got gloopy gravy, it was so disgusting. i wasnt sure what the satay chicken used to be, but certainly wasnt chicken. vile

It's ok the quality is going down hill slowly a bit greasy and a bit bland the last couple of times I have been .

I have never had such boring and plain Chinese in my life... We ordered 2mains and 2starers. The food was so tasteless that we ate maybe third of the portion only because we were starving. The only nice touch were free prawn crackers. It was my first and last time. Shame cause I love Chinese food.

Good Chinese food best in chipping Norton!

Ordered Chinese from here is really nice the best and is better than any Chinese I've tasted anywhere and have no complaints started ordering food here in 2004 and has now been 8 years since I've ordered food here but would keep going back because serve the best sweet and sour giant chicken prawn and pork balls with egg fried rice prawn crackers beef and onion and I can't complain because every time it's the best and would miss it if it ever had to close because I love there food so many choices a good menu and very polite friendly and would reccomend it to everyone and anyone local or can't find a good chinese takeaway or food
