The best restaurants serving Default food in Maidstone South East

my cafe experience was as disgusting as the tables. i fell unwelcome the moment we stepped in and a simple lunch turned into a unpleasant time with staff snarky comments and whispers . my son wanted to buy himself a bag of crisps and a toast he’s then realised he did not have enough for the crisps when he asked if he could take it off then the woman side and took it off reluctantly and as my son sat down the staff started talking s**t, pointing at him to show the other staff who he was who then laughed along with her. not too Overshare, but my son is on the spectrum he did not understand why they were mad at him. and really took it to heart which made him really overwhelmed. not recommend for any families or anyone.

Tried for first time. Not good. Chicken in black bean very bland. Shredded chilli beef soggy and not nice. Won't be going back

My family and I went for lunch and the girl serving us was very rude and even suggested we was racist. We ordered 3 cheese and onion bakes and she gave us meat ones I think sausage and bean. We are all vegetarian so when I approached her to ask why we had been given the wrong order she replied this was my mistake I had asked for what she had given me. And maybe I'm Racist because she is a foreigner....I am vegetarian, why would I ask for a meat product?? We won't be going there again. I have never been so upset.. Disgusting service and attitude...

Yo estaba comercial en la ciudad y pasamos un poco de tiempo para matar así que decidimos BHS cafe una prueba para el almuerzo. Solamente he comido aquí una vez antes en esa ocasión elegir una papa de la chaqueta. No fue la mejor, pero me pareció que cosas podrían haber mejorado después de todo este tiempo, así que pensé que me gustaría darle otra oportunidad. Gran error! Pedí una patata, brécol y queso torta del menú comidas calientes a un costo de £5.50 . Me dijeron que me podría haber dos lados con esto y me ofrecieron 'chips' o 'puré' (realmente! El plato ya o patata). Me decidí por guisantes y verduras variadas y pedimos una taza de té Earl Grey, por un costo total de 7,15 libras que es mucho para un almuerzo de calidad sub-estándar. La mayoría de las personas que pedimos comida, etc. estaban pagando en media de £7+. Me senté y comenzaron a comer mi comida pero descubrí que la comida estaba fría, y parecía haber sido colocados en un plato frío. Volví al mostrador para decir que la comida estaba fría, ni siquiera cálido, y ya que estaba en las comidas calientes menú, descripciones comerciales vienen a la mente! El miembro del personal que se ocupó de la reclamación se disculpó y me dijeron que lo 'calor que para mí". Supongo que meter en unos minutos, pero porque el papa, brécol y tarta de queso era en un plato individual, realmente no recogida mucho calor. ¡Qué calor había en las verduras no duró mucho. El miembro del personal que trajo mi re-climatizada comida a mi mesa otra vez se disculpó, pero la expresión de su rostro no estaba en el menos auténtico, sino más bien un aspecto de 'indiferencia'. Me sugirió que tal vez sus fogones no funcionaban adecuadamente. Tengo que decir que este café es una farsa de la industria del servicio de comida. No puedo decidir si es pobres los niveles de personal, la falta de formación/compromiso por parte del personal o complacencia de el personal pero sea lo que sea, es lo que sirven es de los más pobres calidad que he experimentado. Puede ser que sólo así comprar un sándwich frío de los panaderos cercanas y pagar mucho menos. Venga en BHS, dinero, esto podría ser una pequeña mina de oro pero estás dejándoos mucho. I am contactar Compass Group Reino Unido cuyo nombre aparece en el recibo, ya que puede que les interesaría saber cómo mal están siendo representados en esta excusa para un café en Maidstone. NUNCA me dan a esta cafetería mi negocio nuevo.

Amazing chicken balls - they were really crispy and seasoned well. Satay was a little tough but the sauce flavour was amazing.

I have visited this branch of Costa four or five times over the last month or so, and no matter what day or time or weather the front door is always wedged open with a purposely made block of wood. It's a small place, so nowhere to sit to avoid the inevitable cold breeze coming in. Makes me want to drink up quickly and leave.......next visit I may ask for the door to be shut and see what happens. ...and why is it the staff think it's OK to hold personal conversations between themselves whilst serving (and therefore ignoring) me? Visit today they were discussing their driving tests that were due and having 'bets' with each other over passing first. I get more attentive and professional service from a greasy spoon than I do in here where I'm paying 4 quid a cup!!

Used this previously before first time 18 months bought some for a treat tonight 31/12/24 THIS IS THE WORSE KFC EVER HAD NO TASTE NO FLAVOUR QUITE FRANKLY ITS HORRIBLE Please don't follow on my footsteps service was good food is awful NO flavour doesn't taste life kfc

Shocking service here yet again, they cannot handle more than 2 customers. Food took an hour and cold, bar service took 20 minnutes a round... one time they had to change a keg! What a calamity that was, half an hour waiting!

I doing order for party my daughter to be on 5pm ,it was delayed and in the end it wasn't what I ordered, was the terrible day.

Dirty! The floor by the entrance was dirty from mud from plants. Went to the cafe to have a breakfast. Sausage was burnt, bacon and mushrooms undercooked, the only decent thing on the plate was the egg and baked beans. I asked for green tea, but could only supply peppermint tea (in a supermarket!). When leaving we noticed loads of litter around the floor. Not a nice store at all. Won’t be going there again!

Just purchased Lunch have been told by the manager Laura that they do not accept the defence discount card anymore very sad day. Maidstone has been a Military town for many years and sad this company has chosen not to support veterans and serving military personnel.

We pitched up excited for breakfast. Six hungry people looking forward to a hot bacon or sausage bap. Oh how f*****g disappointed we were. On offer were the dregs of some cold bacon baps but the bread was hot and bacon cold (weird). When I asked the lady for three hot sausage baps she told me they weren’t cooking any and sent a man to look for some from the chiller. He decided to take other people and talk AT them about the sausage baps not being available. I tried to explain it was us that requested them but he just ignored me. On finally settling for some pastries (they were ok - nothing to write home about) the same man was at the till. He was so damn rude. Couldn’t understand what he was saying. Shooed me away from the till and when. I said I would pay for a friends food he told me in no uncertain terms “no you won’t” and then threw the crisps back at my friend. What an experience. My other friends said they would never come here either as the same man held their bacon bap hostage at the till and wouldn’t release it until they bought another packet of crisps. He then Scanned it all, refunded it all and rescanned it. What a bloomin joke!!!!

I don’t normally write reviews but I had too. Our whole family had food poisoning from this truck, not only was it unsanitary, the staff were rude and it’s the worst food experience I’ve ever had myself my wife and my three children were ill for days… do not eat from this truck it will be at your peril
