Greggs - The Mall in Maidstone

My family and I went for lunch and the girl serving us was very rude and even suggested we was racist. We ordered 3 cheese and onion bakes and she gave us meat ones I think sausage and bean. We are all vegetarian so when I approached her to ask why we had been given the wrong order she replied this was my mistake I had asked for what she had given me. And maybe I'm Racist because she is a foreigner....I am vegetarian, why would I ask for a meat product?? We won't be going there again. I have never been so upset.. Disgusting service and attitude...

Wow, shocking how rude the staff were, sarcastic and just simply rude, I couldn't believe how she spoke to me, and I must have pulled a face or something because she didn't take to kindly towards it, as I work in hospitality this is appalling to see such misery within a workplace, yes I get it's Gregg's so don't expect much, however as a paying customer I expect some level of respect right no need for sarcastic rude comments, can assure you I'm never going to this one again, RUDE

Walk in to the shop like you always do in a greggs. We had a look at the ready made sandwiches and then got our drinks out the fridge section. Got greeted br Friendly Staff and asked what we wanted. We chose the normal sausage rolls and donuts with our drinks and sat in the sitting area to eat. No rudeness from the staff only from the local school children who came here from school at lunch.

Went here today as I'm diabetic and needed to eat. Dirty everywhere but the card machine took the prize for filth horror i don't have contactless so had to put my number in oh dear food went in bin I could not bring myself to eat. Went to another eatery. If it's like this where I can see what's it like where or when I can't.

I visited here today and the shelves were pretty much completely empty, there was barley anything to choose from (it was completely empty in there as well for a Saturday. So I sat down and the cleaner was cleaning the floor around me while I was eating which didn’t bother me. I made no mess on the table, no crumbs or anything just left the empty tray on the table (as was unsure whether they prefer for me to leave it there or take it back) and as I walked away the cleaner was flapping her arms around moaning to herself as she walked over to pick up the tray? Why be a cleaner if you kick off over a empty tray?? My sausage roll was not very warm either. Defiantly will go to the one on the high street from now on as they always have full stock and always had a good experience in that one.

The items are extremely overpriced for the quality, they have unfriendly staff and it was dirty with rubbish laying around.

I took my grandson to Greggs in the Mall, Maidstone yesterday (Friday 19th July). Every table was dirty with crumbs and cup rings. The staff were just walking past! My grandson said the gents toilet was dirty. We went in because he wanted a pizza slice and I’m not exaggerating, every slice was well over cooked, some had black edges. How can food that is burnt be on display for sale?

The food is good service is slow with the one queue for everything,seating area is good but on occasion tables not cleared

Food is lovely but waiting to be served is slow looks much better since the refurbishment and seating nice.

Whilst shopping fancied a quick snack, Greggs looked inviting. However, it was a long wait, they had the same queue for take away as eating in. Made the whole process frustrating, then to find no seats available made the choice a bad decision
