We had hoped that in the intervening months since Fresh Kitchen took over the Sainsbury’s cafeteria things would improve, but they’ve actually got worse. The hours of operation have been drastically cut - no hot food after 5 o’clock, for example. But actually finding it open and running a full menu is becoming increasingly difficult. Once again we turn up for an evening meal and there’s a scrappy hand written notice saying food stopped at 4.00 pm. They have staffing issues, and many of the previous staff have left. They even have problems with deliveries leaving them only able to offer a very limited menu. We have used this cafeteria since it was opened and breakfast often was heaving, with long queues. Now it’s normally half empty. People seem to have voted with their feet. What on earth were Sainsbury’s thinking about? They are not interested in the problems even though this cafeteria is within their store. They just say it’s nothing to do with us. But it’s within their store, you can’t access it without going through the store. It reflects very badly on Sainsbury’s management that they do nothing to improve the situation. What a shame! This lot couldn’t organise a booze up in a brewery!

An absolute shambles! My sons have justed waited for an hour and half for their "fast food"! No apologies when they finally got their order. In view of my past experiences and all the negative reviews, how is this place still trading?!!!!

After adding all the items I wanted to the shopping cart using the app, I was unable to place an order due to issues with being required to create a KFC account. Sk I then kept the cart open on the app and drove straight to the order terminal. I asked for a “Zinger box Beal with 2 hot wings with a supercharge dip”. I drive around the the pay/collect window. I am told that will be £10.49. Not the £9.49 shown in my cart. I query the price and physically show the shopping cart the items I wanted. The girl explains that delivery prices are different. So I tell her that I’m not wanting a delivery, I wanted to use the drive thru but could not pay due to issues. She then went on to tell me how other customers who order via a pickup sometimes pay less. But doesn’t really know why. So I then just give up and pay. Guess what ? After driving away and parking, I open the box to find she has given me a, “Fillet tower box meal with hot wings.” So even though physically ordering this initially via the terminal and then showing her the items I wanted, they get it wrong. And also paid extra for their mistake. They are absolutely useless useless useless.

Used to be an ok chip shop but changed since last visit. Won’t be going back ever even if last place on planet earth. Premises & food looked awful, staff would obviously rather be doing anything else other than cook “food” & awful attitude. Think 5 star rating on window from environmental health left over from pre existing business. Big queues at eateries just round corner from visitors & locals but no one visiting here says it all to me

It's award winning for a reason! Fantastic, freshly cooked chips and the best sausage in batter I've had in ages. Even the curry sauce is decent, though it's standard chip shop type with the bits in which I am not a huge fan off. Lunch time special for £4.20 so very good value for your money!
