McDonald's WATERLOOVILLE in Havant

An absolute shambles! My sons have justed waited for an hour and half for their "fast food"! No apologies when they finally got their order. In view of my past experiences and all the negative reviews, how is this place still trading?!!!!

As other reviews have highlighted, best advice I can give is to thoroughly check your order before leaving the premises as staff seem incapable of packing a complete order. Was in a rush today so on leaving a previous appointment, ordered lunch from here on their app to collect on the way home. Smooth process collecting through the drive thru but broke my own cardinal rule and didn't check the order in detail until I got home and lo and behold I'm missing the Garlic Bread Cheese Dippers! But they HAD given me the Rich Tomato Dip to go with the non-existent dippers!! No point in contacting them - their response is always 'if you can come back, we'll give you the missing item' but I now busy for the rest of the afternoon and the traffic is hell because of roadworks so I'm certainly not going back through that.

Yet again, another (Delivery) order where the staff at Waterlooville are incapable of checking that everything that has been paid for is included in the order handed over to delivery driver. I would say that 9 times out of 10 something is missing from the order we have had delivered. Most of the time it is paid for dips that are missing, but there are times, like tonight, when a food order is missing. I paid £6.19 for the double big mac and it was missing from the order. This is happening far too often. It is basically theft by McDonalds and there isn't anything we can do about it. It's not rocket science! I seriously doubt the intelligence of the people and management working there!

after waiting for my order i noticed the coffees on the side premade when eventually we got our order only to find the coffees cold so i went back in and they replaced thenm with new coffees that were wrong and still cold so i went back in and they replaced them with the right coffees but were luke warm so when i raised this again saying my food was now cold just an apolagy and nothing else they were more interested in serving delivery drivers than anyone else on leaving the restaurant i saw a lady reduced to tears as she had been waiting an hour an the manager never had the decency to replace her food after speaking to her i find this disgusting and will not be returning its not like there was a staff shortage it was down to bad management

Absolutely disgusting waiting a hour and half for my order to paye for £50 worth of food to get 2 fries and 1 burger in the bag when actually ordered 4 quater pounders ? And 4 fries chicken nuggets and 2 ice creams in the end I had to drive down their because I was so angry how my order come I spoke to the manager and she was very rude no sorry nothing call her self a manager ? All she tells me is that it’s alright??? no it’s not alright I have no order hardly my chips are frezzing cold what about my burgers and missing items? I can’t believe they are sending food out this cold the health women would not think this is acceptable? Are they trying to kill someone ? I asked if she had been on a food safety course but she didn’t reply ??? No rating for this order what so ever they have more staff then ever working in their and how can it be like this having to drive down after getting it delivered soo poor !!!

Never have I ever been to such a bad McDonald’s, every time I come here my order is either missing something or I am waiting for 20mins and asked to park up at the next window. Also ordered 3 triple cheese burgers and got just plain cheese burgers, parked up and went in to complaint and get my order sorted someone come along took the burgers and was stood around for a further 20mins before some come up to me and asked how can I help. So waited a further 20 mins to get any food!!!! It seems management is very poor and it would also seem that Uber eats comes first before customer service. Need to rethink on the staff they hire because it only ever seems to be 16 year old kids running the place.

Used drive through ordered 2 happy meals, was sent to wait at next window no one came with food, I saw several people behind being passed their happy meals. Never been sent to wait for couple happy meals before! I had to knock on window finally someone leaving the office same explained we were still waiting she went on and promptly shoved my food at me no sorry for waiting etc,, got home no chips in one happy meal called up they asked me to drive back to collect the chips! I complained customer service was the worst I have ever known and I will not be returning to this McDonald’s.

The worst restaurant / takeaway I have ever visited. The service was appalling and extremely slow. The order was wrong. There appeared to be no leadership from the management. The staff were rude. I certainly will not be returning to this McDonalds again.

Went through the drive through which seemed to be faster on one side than the other. Went to pay for our order and my card was declined, instead of being polite and helping to find a solution the young girl laughed and said its because I had no money in the account. I said I did have money (which I did) and maybe it's the machine. She laughed again and said it was because I had no money. Called my bank and it was their machine apparently. Really rude and unhelpful.

Drive thru is slow and inefficient. No concept of parking people up when food isn’t ready. Slow to answer at the pillar.

Yet again short chained. Ordered two meals, given three fries instead. Worst Macdonalds in uk. Oh and of course no milkshakes as usual

Milkshake machine is always broken and always get the order wrong. Worst MacD on the planet. Try Havant or Chichester

Been sat like this for 7 minutes - guarantee we get sent to the car park as well. This place needs a serious shake up. Worst McDonald’s ever

Lunch for two of us at around 1.00 pm. You know what you are getting at a McDonalds and that was the case for us. Burger with bacon, wrap , fries and drinks at around £15. Quite busy at lunchtime. Order came promptly, food was very acceptable, staff adequately helpful although rather impersonal. Restaurant also has an upstairs, with lift as well as stairs. All seemed to be clean and tidy. The toilets were spacious and clean. The Food Standards Agency Hygiene Rating is a 5, the top mark - that's excellent. Remember that there is a 90 minute max parking time before a fine, although why they have this for an out of town location seems odd. I'm really surprised to see the majority of TA reviews are highly critical; it almost feels as if there is a hidden vendetta against the place!! McDonalds make no pretence of being a top restaurant but our expereince does not support those serious criticisms - the experience was very acceptable. They do what they set out to do well. Give them a try and see what you find? One criticism: the management never seem to reply to the bad reviews - that's not good and certainly doesn't help. The local management should be defending their reputation and responding to genuine complaints.

Poor service long waits rude staff and delivery seems to take priority over the rest. Eventually you will get your order cold

Honestly, I wish there was an alternative grab and go food place round here as it is consistently awful - I cannot remember the last time I came here and wasn’t told to go and park in a bay and wait for food. It would be understandable if it was a burger with extra onions and no cheese or something specific, but when at 12:41 I order a medium quarter pounder with cheese meal and it takes 13 minutes to come out to the car park in my 30 minute lunch break, it is very very annoying. Oh, and all of the wait bays were full with people with similar stories. Woeful.

Just ordered via McDelivery. For once everything we ordered was there, including all the dips! However, we've just spent the last 10 minutes cooking the chips in the air fryer as they were not actually cooked when delivered. It's not rocket science, what is wrong with these people who work in the Waterlooville McDonald's!

Unfortunately I had a horrible experience at McDonald’s Waterlooville. A worker (one of the cleaners 50-60 yrs of age short dirty blonde hair )claimed to have been told that the business manager was no longer letting people upstairs. I asked other employees and they said it wasn’t a problem and that I could go upstairs however she was blocking the way. As she spoke to me she spat on me which I thought was not professional or ethical. 8 people walked upstairs with no problem. We were also made to sit outside in the rain. Please teach your employees to work with care and compassion. Thankyou .
